First impression was the Reception area, very plush with helpful desk staff. Rooms were warm, sometimes too warm, even with heat turned off. However, they were spacious and comfortable with equally cosy beds. Tea & coffee making facilities together with extras like iron and trouser press were above and beyond what we expected. Bathroom bright and well stocked with the heated towel rail a bonus for the cold days. The spare pillows in the wardrobe were hygenically packed in clear plastic bags, everything to a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. Our late arrival one evening for bar food was not a problem to the staff, we were catered for just as if we were there at opening time. We liked everything in this hotel. |

The hotel staff was not at all helpful. When asked questions or for help with luggage they were less than accomodating. |

The package was excellent; food great! I believe there was someone on the balcony outside our bedroom window one night which frightened me. I have no idea how that happened or how the person got there--perhaps a security issue. Wifi didn't work in our room. |

Very centrally located. A stylish hotel that would be a suitable setting for an Agatha Christie film. Clean and comfortable, but traffic can be noisey in the mornings. Bar food at lunchtime is excellent. It is on a busy road and if your room is facing the road it can be noisey. However, you do get a great view of the river which runs parallel to the road. |

The girl at reception was very helpful & friendly.Good Location and clean. Our bedroom was at the back of the hotel quiet, with air conditioning. Our kids bedroom was at the front very stuffy and noisy because of the traffic.Could have done with air conditioning so you could close the windows. |

We stay regularly at the Granville hotel and had not actually eaten dinner at the hotel before apart from breakfast which is very good. Saturday night we were late going to the restuarant with friends and was accomodated no problem. Food and service was excellent and very good value for the price. |

Staff were friendly, rooms were large, though a bit dated one can expect that with the age, however, very clean. Every traditional decor and best yet quiet....Perfect location for walking around Waterford City Centre and for the clubs/pubs. |

That I had to be there only one night. The rooms were so small and noisy it was like sleeping in the street. The staff refused to change our room and they claimed the hotel was full. Which we could see it was not true. They just didnot want to open the higher floors.. |

Excellent location on waterfront. Good dining facilities with excellent service. The offer of some help with bags from carpark situated across busy road would have been appreciated but it was conveniently located, |
