The staff are a great asset to the hotel, and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The bar food and breakfast were also of a good quality. I will be very happy to stay in the Granville again.
Great breakfast, good staff, comfortable bed
No Wifi service for over 12 hours and traffic noise was terrible to the front of the hotel
Nice hotel, good food, friendly, helpful staff.
Lack of car parking facility
I found myself staying over on a Friday night due to office party evening. Excellent location. Was able to pop out on Saturday morning and have the hair done and a little shopping before leaving hotel after a really nice stay. Comfy and facilities were very good. Lovely snug surroundings and furnishings.
Convenient location, great breakfast, comfortable room and very clean.
Everything was fine.
I liked early start for breakfast, the relaxed atmosphere and comfort of bar area, nice comfortable temp in bedrooms and throughout
Reception offered us a brolly as we going out as it was raining.Small touches like that are memorable
Having to leave
Lovely old style comfort, made a nice change from so many hotels that all look the same.Breakfast was really good, lots of choice, and the porridge was amazing.First time ever had a shot of Baileys on top!
Room was too hot, made it uncomfortable. Waited at the table for food, eventually realised had to go to bar to order, staff were aware of us but didn't point that out to us.Not a problem to do this, but someone could have helped.
Great staff and a super location, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was fabulous definitely worth adding to room great value. I will be visiting again soon and hopefully will bring my children.
Conviently sited from Ferry for a stop off.Comfortable clean hotel friendly staff.
The breakfast was good but I would have preferred the main course to be Buffet style.
I liked the comfort and warmth of my room. Staff were very friendly, courteous and professional. I ordered breakfast in my room and it arrived on time as well as being delicious and hot. The Granville has an old worldwide charm and decor. Treat yourself to a stay there.
Great Atmosphere in this Hotel. The lounge bar always buzzing and fabulous food served in the bar. Great breakfast and the staff are very friendly.
Very comfortable hotel with old style welcome and and homely atmosphere. From now on our no. 1 choice for staying in Waterford.
Could not fault this hotel in any way.
Outstanding breakfast, attentive restaurant staff. Busy public bar.
Remote bedroom. Poor residents' facilities.
Good city centre location, easy walk to sites of historical and cultural interest. Friendly staff. Lovely meal in the restaurant.
We could hear the live music from the bar loud and clear from our room. The noise went on until fairly late-ish (12.30/1 am) and it did keep us awake.
The friendliness of the staff-very helpful.
The Breakfast! So good NOT to have self service of hot food. It means the food is straight from the kitchen and at its best, other hotels please copy!
That our stay was too short!
Location was brilliant we go here every year for dinner.Never let's us down they were very busy down there the night we stayed staff couldn't be any nicer
The staff were very friendly
The hotel "parking facilities" are open to the general public and the parking was completely full which meant that both my girl-friend and I who travelled separately had to pay for our parking which cost us extra and more hassle as where we eventually parked was about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel and it was lashing rain. If I knew this before booking the hotel I would have stayed elsewhere as I think it would have being better overall value
Breakfast incl gluten free bread Bed
Lovely hotel, well decorated and comfortable. The staff were all really nice. We had a very good room but being a light sleeper I should have asked for a room at the back due to traffic noise. Would stay here again though.
Old fashioned, but beautifully restored hotel, great bar (open until 3am for residents), good free wifi, great Irish breakfast
The hole experience of the stay.
Friendly and happy atmosphere
