A little noisy from the Friday night wedding, some partying in the halls.

The staff were very helpful, the location was perfect and the room was lovely. We were up-graded to fifth floor suite.

Location and friendly staff
Persistent drone in bedroom, Did not sleep at all first night, because of this. Exhausted second night fell asleep after a couple of hours. Did not complain but remarked it to waiter in suit at breakfast who made light of it. Definitely spoiled our stay.
What a wonderful find. My room had two single beds so asked for a double bed & to move which was done straightaway without extra cost. No problem at all!!Also had to print off paperwork plus scan it etc. No problem at all for the staff amazing!!! Wish I could have started longer.
Only receptionist on duty was friendly, helpful and doing her best - but was trying to check-in and look after guests as well as answer phone. Same the following morning at checkout!
Over priced! This is certainly not a 4* hotel. Room was average size but described as 'executive upgrade'. It was hot - no airconditioning. Decor was dull and needs a good makeover- chipped bath, clean towels but quite worn. Hotel was very noisy - especially the water system - kept us awake! Front facing room meant we couldn't leave window open because of street noise. Breakfast was average and uninspiring; bacon and scrambled egg was tasteless and coffee was cold. Dining room in basement was dark and uninviting. On arrival, we waited 15 mins for reply on phone for directions to car park and were given incorrect information re price. Overall we were very disappointed and will not be staying here again. What a pity but for €185 for one night B/B we did expect 4* standards.
Rooms were below average. Staff unfriendly. Restaurant food poor. Not sure why anyone rated this hotel positive. A huge disappoinem
Alot of noise from outside in the morning small room and bathroom
Location, staff, hotel decor, bar staff, clientele, received free upgrade to a suite without asking

Location , great breakfast, friendly staff
No air cond so room stifling could not open windows due to busy street and noise outside.
Staff, room, food, atmosphere, location
Overpriced for what we got . Rooms no aircon. No pool. Can charge because of location
Location was great. Room was gorgeous. Staff very helpful and especially the man who did valet parking, luggage and helpful with directions. Breakfast was wonderful. Total experience was delightful. Would love to stay there again.
Fantastic location. Front reception area and newly refurbished bar are great!
Decor in room, lack of air conditioning, street noise, breakfast needs improving.
The location is great. Staff was very accommodating.
This hotel is a terrible value for the money charged. We stayed up the street at Park House for a couple of days before staying at Meyrick. The Meyrick does not do well in comparison. The Park House is considerably cheaper and nicer. The Meyrick dates from the 19th century and appears to have some of the original features including windows and floors. The hotel is pretty scuffed up, even in the common areas. Poor quality maintenance is noticeable, particularly in bathrooms. We were on the 4th floor, in what is essentially a "sub floor" accessed via sets of stairs and alternate elevators. Think "Inside John Malkovich". It was very noisy from slamming room and hallway doors, creaking floors from above and noisy conversations from vacationers returning to their rooms late night. This made it very difficult to sleep. Save your money. Stay elsewhere. This is in no way a 4 or 5 star experience.
no air con in bedroom
lovely room very nice
breakfast area not up to rest of hotel standard breakfast ok lacked choice
