The fact that you didn't have to go out of from the grounds. The peace and tranquility of the area. The old fashioned style was just beautiful. Room was not up to expectations. From pictures on their web site I was expecting more. But I would still go back. |

Loved the thermal suite area in the pool. Spa was very nice to. Perfect place for a relaxing break. En-suite was not very nice, very dated with a tiny bath. Bedroom was nice enough, plenty of space but basic |

Staff were nice. location was excellent The hotel was cold even the leisure centre. our room was in a state of disrepair , wallpaper was torn and peeling off the wall. We were asked to pay 8euros each for robes for the leisure centre even though we were guests at the hotel . We were sorry that we did not check out as soon as we got there.we had stayed there before and loved it . It was a huge dissappointment . |

Completely over run by children. The Library is not a play room, the front lounge has been converted into a dining room and when we went to play billiards the table was being (ab)used by a seven year old. We checked out after one night. Our room was shabby and basic with a cramped, snot green ensuite. No mini bar, no ironing board. No wardrobe - just a bar across an alcove- loke a student flat. Room 135. I will never go back! |

The setting and comfort. The food. Breakfast was fantastic. It was an ideal place to relax and read a newspaer or book. They could provide more newspapers. The only get a small quantity. |

Location superb, beautiful walks, excellent value for money. Not many children staying at hotel which makes it ideal for a break away from the kids. |

The attitude of the porter when we arrived and the receptionist when we left, left a lot to be desired otherwise the hotel was good. Some of the staff |

The views, the peace and quiet, the relaxing atmosphere. The decor was amazing. Fireplaces with wood/turf burning in the evening. Walks by the sea. Cooked breakfast was a little cold.Still yummy |

the absolute sense of peace and relaxation. The detail to service and comfort. i do think that hot breakfasts could be cooked to order but the buffet selection is excellent |

I loved the Spa/pool area. I also liked the walks and grounds around the hotel. Beautiful scenary. The bedroom 103 was very poor. Privacy, no sheers on window. Room facilities were non-existant.Shower curtain in bathroom out-dated. I would rate this like a very poor B & B. Not good enough for Parknasilla. |

Food was excellent. Lovely piano music at night time in the bar when we were there. Pool and thermal suite is fabulous with amazing views of the Kenmare river. The first room we were given was one of the worst I have seen. It was tiny and quite shabby with a small portable tv (rarely seen in any hotel nowadays, not to mind a 5 star hotel!) On request we were moved to a second room which was bigger and better but above the laundry area so was noisy enough. Also there was no lift to the room, so we had to carry our bag to reception when checking out. |

I loved the Spa and in particular that it was for guests only and not a local club membership. The hotel was lovely and comfortable and staff extremely nice. While accepting that the food was of a very high quality it probably would not entice me to eat in hotel every night if planning a longer stay. |

The sense of homeliness in spite of the fine building I hate over-designed hotels but some of the lobbies (that with bronze busts) was particualrly naff |

Friendly, excellent meal, relaxing, clean. Very disappointed with spa area, was told manager would contact me and never did. Would recommend hotel, not spa. Did not see website. |
