Its location and easy access to the City. Spacious rooms and pool facilities. Car park and easy access to Hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. I had specifically requested a non smoking room. While room 358 was, I have no doubt, a designated non smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke from the room was obvious. It may be that someone had broke the no smoking rule, but room staff should make Management aware of such suspiciouns and this information could prevent such mistakes occuring in future.

Excellent location, good wide ranging menu, fine parking in secure car park. It was really busy! A victim of its own success

I have stayed at the Green Isle twice in the past year. Each time I was playing in a chess tournament held at the hotel, which I commend for hosting such events. As a non-driver, I would be unlikely to stay at the hotel at other times. While facilities are very good, the location is a problem for me - it really only works if I have no plans to leave the building during my stay. Even getting to the nearest shop is a hassle for us pedestrians, and I resorted to a taxi on one occasion. For people like my, it helps if the hotel sells items such as newspapers, aspirin, etc. That aside, I like the hotel. My only other quibble is wireless broadband - it would be good to have it in all rooms, as well as public areas. I know there are cables at reception, but they ran out during my last stay - chess players use laptops quite a lot, ideally in their rooms. Food, service excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. As I say above, the Green Isle's location is a problem for me. As a non- driver, I normally stay in city centres. Not much you can do about this, obviously. I'd like better wireless broadband in rooms. But I will be back if you host future chess events. thanks G.

Located near to relatives living in Clondalkin. On a bus route to the centre of Dublin. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Very good selection for breakfast, well cooked and reasonably priced. Found the drinks from the bar rather expensive.

Excellent staff There were a couple of things. We booked and paid for a late check out and asked for a do not disturb on the room. We were told that we wouldn't require one as teh staff would know. They knocked on our door at 10.30 and again at 11. They were also very loud in corridor. There was also a big row in the corridor at 4 in the morningwhich woke us as this went on for over a hour. Security were there but it took them sometime to stop it all.

Free car parking, good value room. Reasonable bar and food Always seems to be football on every screen in the bar, and at far too high a volume. Vegetarian burger should not include fish!

I have stayed in this hotel 4-5 times in the last couple of m I have styed in this hotel 4-5 times in the last few months, the last few times I couldn't fault a thing however this time I was disappointed with my room, the carpets were filthy looking , room was small and poky compared to the rooms I had been given previously. Also I didn't request a double room I thought it wouldn't make a difference & was unhappy to find 3 singles. Didn't think I had to specifie my booking name was Mrs Elaine Troman so I thought it would be assumed I'd have been with/ meeting my partner. He wasn't with me at time off booking so I can see how things could be overlooked. I was planning on using your hotel in the near future if I do I'll be more specific. But no this time I wasn't happy at all.

Staff very helpful, good location. Good facilities, value for money I thought there was a smell of smoke in my room, when asked if it was a smoking room I was told it wasn't but I would have liked to be offered the opportunity to change as I rang down the minute I got into the room before I had unpacked anything. It could have done with a closer eye to the cleaning there were nuts on the carpet and I didn't have any..

The reception staff were fantastic and very friendly. We were firstly given a triple room but had booked a family room and they rectified this straight away without any moaning. The location was really good for crumlin hospital as that was the purpose of our visit. The hotel badly needs updating which is probably down to funds like everything else at the moment.

I stayed at The Greeb Isle for the irish dancing championships in citywest. My decision to stay there was influenced by the difference in cost from the citywest hotel as travelling with children can be costly. I was pleasantly surprised with the standard and quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was really nice ht I would recommend booking a table. It was very close and if you wanted to go in to the city centre it's not far a d transport easily accessible. Tesco close by and local shops in Clondalkin.

.Food was lovely with no complaints. Staff were very friendly. That was my third time to stay there and was always very happy with everything hence the reason for returning.Unfortunatally I cant say the same this time.I Found my room not so clean as before and did not like the idea of the dirty shower courtain and the hindges broken on some of the drawers. There was no safe in my room this time and I also found the bath towels to be more of a large hand towel. We also did not appreciate a very loud alarm going off in our room for about 10 seconds at 1am.other than that it was enjoyable and all the staff were lovely.

The staff was really friendly and the food in the restaurant was really good. The room wasn't very clean. The shower was dirty, the furniture was stained and the bed was really uncomfortable. We asked for a double and it was two twins pushed together. The mattresses weren't the same height and were really hard. Also in the advertisement it stated wifi in the rooms except when we got there we found out there was a twist and only exec rooms got wifi.

The reception staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was lovely and all the staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts, the food was excellent and plenty of it. Our rooms were lovely and clean the cleaners were a credit to the Hotel and so lovely and friendly. There were taxi's outside the hotel all the time so getting into the center was not a problem at all. The swimming pool was refreshing after the heavy nights previous !!! and I requested more coffee and milk for my room and I could not believe that by the time I got back upstairs it was already in my room, now that's what I call an excellent service. I will most certainly be recommending this hotel to my friends and colleagues and will be staying at the hotel again in the future. We had a fantastic time, the irish people are the most welcoming people ever, thank you for making our stay and my 50th Birthday the most memorable time ever love you all. I have not got one thing to dislike or complain about whatsoever.
