it was not too busy,the waiters in the met bar were lovely,very patient as we have a 3yr old,plenty of food,no noise. i was very disappointed that our milk was gone off so we could not have coffee in our room,i did mention it to receptionist but she did nt really comment. |

Great price Room was very small and the frosted glass window revealed a wall when opened. Asked for a room change as the view was claustrophobic . Our room was changed the following day as the staff informed us no other room was available until then. The other room was lovely. Spacious and great view over looking the river Lee. |

the hotel is very central for cork city, reception staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean every time the toilet flushed it as like a ship coming into harbour and could be heard through the corridor. the bar staff and restaurant staff could have been more friendly and polite, I found them to be very unapproachable, the room very small and not enough facilities for a 4 star hotel. I cant recommend it this hotel for its staff. |

found all staff espically recption staff very helpful in fact would condsider recption staff member that checked us in one of the friendliest i have ever came across recption up graded us to a superior room if you could call it this. room was tiny. she explained to us that it was an internal room. wre found that it was very stuffy could do with air conditioning but was good as wasnt too bright in the morning |

The staff. The olde worlde atmosphere. The space in the lobby, etc. The room - a double - was very small. there was no heating on - environmentally a good idea but I'd have preferred to turn it off rather than on! Only lukewarm water in the shower - perhaps due to the heating? |

The staff were friendly and efficent, the car park should be mapped out before you have to go to the hotel and ask. the room was very very warm and the shower did not work properly for about twenty minutes. |

The room was bright,the staff were very approachable and friendly... the breakfast was good... a tip would be that they invest in a couple of egg cups.. they had none to serve our boiled eggs ins.. but this is really a minor issue |

I got the discounted summer rate. The room was clean, with modern furniture, and functional. It was not big - would be close for 2 people but has a trouser press and an ironing board and an iron. |
