The single person rate. The location. The free parking. Comfortable bed. Nice TV. Good light over the mirror. Staff were very nice. Overall, good value for money and I would stay again I like to have a fridge and an iron in my room. Also a full-length mirror and decent hairdryer. But none of that would put me off staying somewhere. The room was small - perfect for one, but it would be cramped for two. The decor is a bit dated and it's quite dark - and the layout is a little confusing. The tiles in my bathroom looked dirty but they might be just old. My friend's bathroom was refurbished so it's probably a work in progress!

It's all so clean and big. The reception was so nice and the staff were lovely There was no lift, it takes a while to get from downstairs to upstairs , that's the only problem. Otherwise, it was perfect

Well centred,Good entertainment.Good food. Staff friendly. Shortage of news papers. Room very poor for the price and to stay for three nights was quite disappointed. Net curtains dirty,Window full of mist and damp.Noisy vent outside. Carpets worn and dirty. Kettle not working in bedroom. The room smelt of heavy smoking from previous customers.

As myself and my sisters were down for a family funeral, we found it convenient, comfortable with very friendly and accommodating staff. Price was great for hotel accommodation and met all our needs. We would definitely consider it in the future for any family visits.

Right in the middle of the town, close to shops, pubs cafes etc. Parking available but very tight. Entrance from parking to the rear and not very attractive. A lot of steps & stairs inside not suitable for old or young, but did not effect our stay.
