The waitress in the bar was so rude. Every other staff member we met was so nice, especially the girl on reception!
toilet wasnt flushed from previous guest.room was like a box.no tea facilities like stated.bathroom was very old looking.
The staff were all very friendly and really went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was plentiful and the reception and bar has great character.
The first room was a real shocker. The table looked like it was knocked together with scrap wood, The room decor was grubby and the avacado green bathroom was vomit we changed rooms, the next was a great improvement but when we moved the beds the carpet was preety dirty.
Check in was quick and staff very helpful. The bar had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good they even had gluten free bread.
Booked a twin room as it was all they had left. The room was small and dark with only a small window in the top right hand corner. Beds were not made properly and bathroom had a tired 80's look about it. Definitely not worth the room rate of €110.
The hotel staff were friendly
No heating, no hot water for the shower, dirty toilet, dirty mirror, remote control for tv out of order, hairdryer out of order
Excellent staff great location and lovely food !!
staff very helpful and informative Room was clean Free WIFI
Great Breakfast Great value
From the women on reception, the bar staff, the restaurant staff, were all friendly, professional and really good at their jobs.
Loved everything, would visit again.
Staff were lovely and the hotel is in the centre of town close to all the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was absolutely fine.
The room I was in was very very dated with a green bathroom suite and tiles, the toilet seat had stains and around the window in the bed room was a bit black. Needs a good overhaul.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Nice bar. Free WiFi.
Generally the hotel is dated. Room was not very warm and there was a very annoying noise like a boiler starting up every few minutes
The reason for staying was that we had an early hospital appointment the next day, with the cold weather and snow and frost it was safer to be nearer the hospital. The hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating to our needs. Lovely clean facilities, and lovely caring staff, although we were leaving before breakfast we were invited back to eat, so considerate and accomodating, absolute class, we would highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely marvellous. Very happy guest.
Everything was perfect
Friendly Staff, Good food
Good central location. Lively atmosphere especially at breakfast. Food ok - a little disorganised - not enough to impact.
A good hoovering of public spaces would help. Decor needs brightening - far too sombre.
Staff were great particularly the receptionist
Single glazed windows, very noisy. tables very dirty in the bar
it was very central to every thing food was great and intertainment in the bar was good
iron and bed
Cold room and no kettle for tea/coffee
We enjoyed a very pleasant night here. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The entertainment was a nice surprise and our extended group took advantage od this and had a great time singing and dancing with the band.
Everything was very good from start to finish
room are bit small
Staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice the pub is very warm and comfortable
The reception is very warm unlike my room. The heating never came on in my room at all . It was very cold. And the place is very unhygienic with people constantly passing through. The public toilets are a disgrace. And i was up most of the night with people roaring out in the corridor returning to their room.
Helpful, enthusiastic and friendly desk manager (Ms Tuite). The room was perfect, lovely and warm on the coldest night of the year. Every thing worked perfect in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a great singsong in the bar that night. I was thirsty in the middle of the night and went down to the barman on duty and he got a bottle of water without any ado. The breakfast was delicious, warm and something for everyone. The selling point was the amount of people coming into the hotel for the breakfast after Mass, football training or just general meeting their friends, it created a great atmosphere in the breakfast room. A great hotel to stay in.
Double bed was two single stuck together not comfortable
