This hotel was nicely located, with sweeping views of the countryside on one side but right next to a cute town. It was also reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, yummy breakfast, spacious room - very good recommendation for local food ;-) Could have done with more heat after a very rainy and cold (for summer) day - and we needed a real drying room for our gear, which just didn't exist - not too practical, I imagine walkers would have the same problem as us bikers!

The proprietor was helpful; the location near the Cliffs of Mohar was excellent; the immediate neighbors were bovine; the views of the countryside were pacific; we had a lovely meal at the nearby Byrne Restaurant - a short walk away.

Was in the town for a wedding and Grovemount was considerably cheaper than the alternatives. It's a very short walk from the centre of town. The best thing about it are the proprietors, who are lovely and kindly offered to drop us into town after we checked in. Nothing.

The level of customer service was fantastic, the staff were really friendly, helping and very accomodating. They even opened the kitchen again for us to have a cup of coffee after we had come back from dinner. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were fantastic. Would definitely come back again. Thanks to everyone at Grovement House for making our stay so enjoyable.

“When we booked this B and B we had no idea it was above a very popular, gourmet, restaurant! Although we had to wait for a table, we were glad we did--very creative, delicious food. Breakfasts were also specially prepared and great. And a wonderful hamper with tea, coffee and homemade cookies is delivered each afternoon to the room. A good location for visiting Cliffs of Mohr, the Burren, and for ferries from Doolin to the Aran Islands.” Jan, Dpo Ae |
