Grovemount House  

The place was spoteless clean, owner very friendly, lovely woman. Delicious breakfast cooked freshly everyday, good choices. Lovely views. Great location.

Internet didn't work in the room.

We loved our stay at Grovemount House and would definitely stay again. Sheila was an excellent host in every way. If we could bottle her and take her with us we would.

it was a bit on the cool side, there was no television, it felt old fashioned - kind of institutional

The owner was fantastic, she saw us arriving, three lads going to a concert in the local hotel, and she could have been forgiven for not being thrilled, however she managed to get us a third ticket and was just really sound. Walking distance to the village.

Homely atmosphere. Decor a little out of date. Breakfast excellent.

The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb offering a wide range of choices.

Excellent b & B. Room was large with a well equipt ensuite facility. Owner & staff was very helpful & accomdating. Breakfast was outstanding. Very quiet. Bed very comfortable. Of all the b & B's, I would return here.

Sign could be larger. Easy to miss from the road.

the staff were friendly and helpful at all times, i found the breakfast to be cooked to perfection, and extremely hot. the owner took the time to ask us about our plans for the day and how our previous day had gone, i would easily recommend this B+B to anyone interested in a friendly place to stay with good food. the rooms were very clean, and cleaned every day too.there were lots of places to visit nearby like beach within 2 miles and the cliffs of moher and the burren within 30 minutes drive, all round a really great experience here.

this B+B is a hard place to find anything wrong with but if i had too, i would only say, the free WiFi is better in the center of the building than it is in the bedrooms, but the room in the center is very comfortable. :)

We enjoyed our stay at Grovemount immensely, using it as a base for our week in the area. The host, Sheila, was both engaging and accommodating and the staff very helpful. The facilities were fine for a B&B and the breakfasts excellent. Highly recommended.

The only 'negative' comment I would make is that the house sign could be a bit nearer to the road, to avoid overshooting.

Location was away from noise and in a country like setting? Breakfast was excellent and Sheila was very helpful.

This hotel was nicely located, with sweeping views of the countryside on one side but right next to a cute town. It was also reasonably priced.

Me ha gustado mucho el aire familiar que tienen todas las instalaciones. Da la sensacion que estas en una casa confortable. El desayuno fue de primera, abundante y bien preparado y el personal realmente muy amable. El entorno es como si estuvieras en una granja y al mismo tiempo esta muy cerca de la costa. Ideal para visitar los Cliff of Moher. Mucho mejor y mas autentico aqui que en el pueblo vecino de Liscanor donde todo parece muy turístico y un poco artificial.

Umgebung sehr Idylisch, Clifs of Moher und The Burren gut und schnell erreichbar. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr Freundlich und Hilfsbereit, wir hatten als wir Sonntags Morgens auschecken wollten einen platten Reifen und sie haben uns den Reifen gewechselt und haben uns sogar zur nächsten Werkstatt gebracht. Sehr zuvorkommend, sehr schöne, saubere Zimmer, besonders der Diningroom ist sehr schön, das Früstück ist auch sehr gut und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung

Verkehrsgünstig und doch ruhig gelegen, sauber und gepflegt, Obwohl wir zu zweit und die einzigen Gäste im Haus waren, haben wir ein sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück (inklusive einem extra für uns, frisch gemachten Obstsalat) bekommen. Definitiv empfehlenswert, sehr netter Service.
