Maeve runs a top notch B and B. She is a most gracious host and absolutely went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. My two boys, ages 13 and 10, declared Haggart to be their favorite lodging of our two week trip. I don't think my wife and I will dispute that!! Thanks so much Maeve!!!

We picked Haggart Lodge b/c it was close to family but were delighted with the choice. The B&B is new, clean and very comfortable. Mauve, the owner, was so attentive to us even while caring for her nine week old son! Aclare is a beautiful area if you are touring Ireland & you cannot find a more pleasant place to stay than Haggart's Lodge while there.

EVERYTHING! We had a warm welcome; the room was spacious; the decoration lovely; the breakfast was wonderful ( I had the skinny pancakes(crepes!) with fruit it was fabulous! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband and I loved being at the Haggart Lodge B&B. The place was located in a remote village that was so beautiful and secluded, perfect for a romantic getaway. Meave was the nicesest, most friendly person we met in all of Ireland and my husband will always think of her fondly. We hope to see her again and meet her husband and new child one day soon.

Maeve and Donal and Maeve's mum Maureen could not have made us feel more welcome or been more hospitable. Maeve drove us out to the Border Collie pub on our first night and picked us up too - "just drop me a text when you're ready" - and her Irish coffees were a delight. The room was fine with a large en suite bathroom and the breakfasts kept us going well into the day.

The only slight disappointment was that the village was quieter than we'd hoped. We were looking forward to music filled nights and lots of craique but apart from the first night at the Border Collie we missed out. Having said that we did go from Sunday to Wednesday in October so were probably expecting a bit much

Mauve was a wonderful hostess. She made us feel right at home. The room was large and spacious. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our room. We enjoyed visiting with her and her mother. She was kind enough to do laundry for us at a small fee.

The welcome by Maeve was unbelievably unique. Her easy friendly style was wonderful, and her mug of tea for me in the morning when I was outside having a smoke was extra special

We got a very warm welcome the minute we arrived at Haggart Lodge & it set the bar for our stay there. Maeve & her mum Maureen simply could not do enough for us & their friendliness & hospitality made us feel so welcome & at home. Maeve & Donal have a beautiful home & whatever you read about it, you can multiply it by 10. From the warm welcome, to the very large family room we had, to the fabulous home cooked breakfasts, plus all the added extras, our stay at Haggart Lodge was a very positive experience. All information we needed on local knowledge, places to eat & places to go was available to us & nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Truly wonderful people & I look forward very much to a return visit. Thank you Maeve, Donal & Maureen

Maeve and Donal, our hosts, we're wonderful. We had a great room overlooking the sheep in the fields and the mountains in the distance. Without question e best b& b we stayed at during our journey. Excellent!!!

The room with beautiful bathroom was great. Mostly it was Maeve and her mother Maureen who made the stay very comfortable. Both were kind and knew the townland I wanted to see. Highly recommend for those who love the countryside. Margaret Boag

Maeve is UNBELIEVABLY helpful and friendly. An absolute pleasure to stay in her B&B. The location is perfect if you're looking for a relaxing stay away from it all, but close enough for trips to Tubercurry or Swinford to be no trouble whatsoever.

Friendly clean quiet

This has to be the best service and value for money place I have experienced. From first meeting Maeve and Donal the welcome was genuine and caring. I could not have asked for more. They were helpful kind and friendly. Also great fun and good craic was had with them and Maureen [Maeve.s mum] This lodge is excellent and of a high standard. The food is good home cooking and fresh. The scenery around the lodge is wonderful and the stay went too quickly. It is worth visiting and loads to do around the area. I will definitely be back as will the others in the group. Thanks Maeve and Donal you gave us much more than we expected.

Die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Vermieter. Die sauberen, gemütlichen und großzügigen Schafräume mit Bad. Würde ich immer wieder übernachten.

Liegt etwas außer halb, was aber nicht so tragisch ist!. Der nächst größere Ort liegt 10 Min per Auto entfernt. Wo man Essen gehen kann und einige Pub vorhanden sind.

Haggart Lodge b&b è in ottima posizione relativamente all'aeroporto di Knock. I proprietari sono molto disponibili e simpatici. La camera famigliare è fantastica!

la cosa che più sorprende all'arrivo in questo b&b è la spumeggiante accoglienza dei gestori. la gentile proprietaria, Maeve, non solo ci ha fornito utili informazioni sulla zona, ma ci ha persino accompagnato all'alba all'aereoporto anticipando di alcune ore l'abbondante colazione e facendoci risparmiare tempo. la scelta iniziale, infatti, era ricaduta principalmente per la vicinanza all'aereoporto, ma si è invece rilevata una piacevole location per immergersi nella natura e nella tranquillità. la camera oltre ad essere molto pulita e confortevole, è anche spaziosa e arredata con gusto e dispone di tutti i comfort. sicuramente consigliabile.

Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis par Maeve et sa mère. La chambre et sa salle de bain étaient spacieuses, joliment décorées, propres, et la maison au calme. Nous avons dû partir tôt pour prendre notre avion de retour et Maeve s'est levée à l'aube pour nous cuisiner un très bon petit déjeuner et nous a ensuite guidés en voiture jusqu'à l'aéroport par un raccourci. Sans doute la meilleure solution pour un hébergement dans le secteur et idéal si vous arrivez ou partez de l'aéroport de Knock.

Alles war wunderbar, das Beste B&B in unserem zweiwöchigen Urlaub. Großes Zimmer, sehr schön eingerichet. Tolles Bad. Super Frühstück mit Büffet und dazu noch Auswahl zwischen 3 Menus. Nicht zu vergessen: ein super freundlicher Empfang. Einfach toll. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis top.
