Being born and brought up in kilkee I wanted to give my business to halpins hotel as a family connection.i found 1 muppet that you would describe as staff, that never read my requirments when I booked the room,which stated that we didnt want breakfast .room only basis. I was still charged 109 euro without breakfast, I stay in 4 star hotels for half the price on a regular basis, thank you halpins . the rip off culture is still alive and well in kilkee. My suggestion would be that you would actually get someone to answer a phone in kilkee, and forget the dublin 4 bullshit.

Check in was very pleasant and friendly. €99 per night was probably one of the greatest rip offs I have come across in years! 4 Star hotels are giving this rate and less on a regular basis and Halpins comes nowhere near 4 Star!!!. The room was no better than an average b&b that would charge €30 per night. Breakfast service was slow and grumpy (the breakfast room was only about 33% full!!). THere is a recession on but they seem to not care about that in Halpins-pure arrogance!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat überhaupt nicht gestimmt. Nachdem wir mehrere Hotels gebucht haben, gehörte dieses zu den Teuersten, hat aber auch leider bei Weitem nicht gehalten was es versprochen hat. Die Hotelfotos der Homepage stimmen leider so gar nicht mit den Zimmern vor Ort überein.

Absence de restaurant alors qu'il était prévu , absence de porte manteaux dans la salle de bain car arrache , rideau de douche ne tient pas, tablette au dessus des wc et non du lavabo, lit trop petit et inconfortable , chambre trop exiguë donnant sur une arrière- cour sale, pas d'ascenseur, hôtesse d'accueil a l'arrivée incapable de renseigner sur un bon restaurant autre que fish and chips, petit déjeuner non copieux, froideur générale du personnel, impossibilité d'accéder au parking précise dans le book, mauvais fonctionnement de la télé, le soir a l'arrivée pas d'eau chaude dans la douche et pas d'obstruction pour ne pas vider la baignoire = douche obligatoire et non bain
