It is conveniently situated close to Galway city centre. The room we had was very clean but too warm and stuffy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with a nice choice of cooked breakfast, continental breakfast and fruit. While the staff were excellent the atmosphere of the hotel was soulless. The piped music in the lounge was depressing. Having paid €134 for one night's stay I think guests should not have to pay for car parking. For this reason I would not stay here again.

We have stayed here on 5 occasions, the location and proximity to the city is ideal and convenient. Staff have been very pleasent on each and every stay that we have had. We'd use again for weekend/shopping break . This was the worst stay we experienced so far. Room 124 was noisy (beside residencial car park),No toilet seat lid (disabled toilet) and seat was loose ( I tightened it) , Shower head spray was not adjustable and it was like being bitten by ants because of the jet spray nozzle.Breakfast staff forgot my coffee and the Full Irish breakfast had run out of hot food items (more than once).Front double doors to hotel didn't close properly and made the foyer breezy at night , the occupants took turns to shut the doors as guests left or arrived.. We'd stay again but not in this side of the Hotel .This disabled type room was possibably as far away from the elevators as was humanly possible.

Excellent and friendly staff, good food, very handy location. Parking was very handy and cheap right behind the hotel. The method of switching from bath tap to shower was so difficult I couldn't do it. The price of a pint was 50 cents more than elsewhere. The parking was quite full and difficult to manouevre in due to eejits parking badly.

Nice room & bathroom. View of the car park from our room. Poor breakfast arrangements. No one asked us if we wanted tea of coffee. The hot buffet continually ran out of items. Staff seemed disinterested.

We had a pleasant welcome when we arrived & the staff were also very helpful as we had never been to the area before. They provided us with a map of the city, suggestions on where to go generally made us feel very welcome. The location was ideal for us, not in the city centre but close enough for us to walk to as & when we wanted to. Nothing to fault.

The fact I had to pay for parking and I didn't know of the reduced rate car park before check in. Very badly described. Cost me over €20 for my car park as I had to come a go a few times over the day.

Very convenient and great value for a spotlessly clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and service was prompt. The food in the bar had a wide choice and not your usual cips with everything. Ill stay here from now on when work takes me to Galway A little gripe paying for parking

We had a wonderful weekend in this hotel, everything was wonderful especially the breakfast. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It isvery close to the city and it is in a quiet area so there is no street noise late at night. The only thing I would say that we did not enjoy is the heat in the hotel, it is very hot in the rooms so be sure to have water with you, this is not really a bad thing though it would have been worse if it was cold!

Rooms were comfortable and food was very good. Requested an omelette one morning for breakfast and this was no problem - it was huge and delicious. No atmosphere in Bar (no one in it - Friday night) and prices over the top. Why not give a 20% discount to hotel residents? I realise staff in restaurant also look after the Bar but it was crazy ordering a pint of guinness from one staff member who then disappeared and another staff member came in and finished the order. (Had to ask if this was your drink). This went on for some time and became very annoying. I am also sure that the above occurs in many hotels in Ireland.
