Nice outlook, great location, close to town
Great location and nice staff
the staff were lovely
it was pricey considering travelling alone and there isnt a leisure centre
Excellent breakfasts,super clean
Why is the charge fifty five euros more expensive for the extra day? bit odd that,
I liked the close proximity of the hotel to the centre of Galway City and it had a car park on site
Being a solo traveler the value for money is not so good but for couples it is great value
Short walk to center, but not in center... Restaurant very good though a little over priced. Breakfast was good. Hotel decor good... parking excellent.
Good hotel for the price, but not in center,
Big no character
one young member of staff at the reception was particularly helpful.
Well situated, very nice hotel
People all threw out Ireland were very nice but not so much at this hotel. Don't get me wrong, we were well served but they didn't have the welcoming touch as much as every other place we stayed at.
Air conditioning would be nice
Could walk to shops and pubs.
Toilets functioned poorly. Exterior of building needs sprucing up. Entrance into car park is much too narrow.
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, good sized bathroom
Thick hard pillows, velux windows. No view of harbour from hotel dining room or bedroom
The staff was friendly when we arrived and when we left , but the desk staff in the morning was rude . When they have their parking lot full and you have to use another lot there should be some kind of imbursement .
The breakfast and cleanliness of the room.
Liked the smoking area for residents, only had one Breakfast it was good , once we managed to get any !!
Did not like the fact that there was 4 or 5 hen parties in at the same time , also a coach load of very very rude Germans who queued at the dinning room door 30 mins before opening then took and ate everything in the place so much so that one member of staff told one of them when they said there was no bread of a particular sort left , then they did not think that people would have eaten quite so much , did not like the fact that we had to pay 10 euros per night for parking
Good location to City and salt hill. Friendly reception staff.
The hotel was too hot. When we asked for a fan it was noisy and had no power. The bathroom was tiny and the shower needs updating. The breakfast staff were un helpful. There was no bowls or glasses and we had to ask for them several times. There was nobody at the door to seat us and the air conditioning was blowing out hot air. The car park was expensive considering what we payed for the room.
Noise from road in room Very warm room, should have air con
The room was excellent - roomy and clean. Location was great.
Initial impression of staff was poor - not a good welcome and we thought it was quite hard to find.
Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Secure çar parking.
Noise from kitchen fans meant had to change rooms after first night but hotel was very helpful with this
It's a few minutes walk from Shop St which is close enough to get there quickly but far enough to get some sleep in the early hours. I've been in other hotels in Galway over the past couple of years; you find yourself either far away from the action or immersed in it until 4am like it or not. This hotel strikes the perfect balance, location-wise. Also the breakfast was fantastic; I'll be back.
Nothing; it was all good
lovely staff very comfortable bed
very very bad view
The very friendly staff
Good choice for breakfast but eggs cold and tasteless., Bacon hard could not eat breakfast so left a poor feeling after an initial good start.
Spotless lobby and room Staff rang to tell us we had left a phone behind
Little noisy Tricky shower to use
Room nice , breakfast good , staff very helpful.
We had a room at the front of the hotel on the road and the traffic noise was bad late at night. Room very warm & couldn't open the window because of the traffic noise.
