Not bad - but there were a few things.
1. When I came into the room, the reek of disinfectant was very intense. I certainly felt the room was clean, but I had to keep the window wide open on a chilly evening; it doesn't seem necessary to use such strong-smelling cleaner.
2. The room was also downright monastic in appearance. A wee bit of color and character would be very welcome.
3. Finally, the cafe next door (the only place to eat if one wasn't inclined to cram into the crowded and noisy bar) was extremely poorly managed. I am just telling you for feedback - it was, overall, a very satisfactory stay.
4. Oh - one more thing. The taxi driver who was booked at the front desk charged me 8 euros more than the one who brought me to the hotel from the airport, and they took the same route. Is this a common complaint?
The amazing location, where I could walk and explore beautiful Dublin.
My window offered a view of the cathedral across the street!
