The room wasn't like the pictures on the internet, there were two single beds instead of a king size and there was a humming noise that kept us awake all night. The owner was rude, dismissive and agressive.

The best and only thing was its location. No welcome, staff not interested in your stay. Had to go down stairs to make a hot drink.

The room was not exactly as described on the site. The welcome was in my opinion very rude as we were left standing in the rain for 10 minutes waiting for the door to be opened, then we were handed the key and told what room we were in without being shown or told about the room and vacilities. They told us there was parking but were not told we had to pay to park on the street,no off street parking unless we wanted to park up at the Bella Vista, a 2klm walk up hill.

Bed sheets were clean The room was tiny!! View from window was of a dirty roof and wall, walls paper thin could hear the couple beside us all night, bed so uncomfortable. No staff available, had to find hotel other side of town to check in, guy who brought us to show us the room told us just how must he hated the town and there was nothing in it. Bathroom was also tiny, just a late addition to the room, couldnt close the door behind u if u wanted to stand at sink. Shower was luke warm and noisy, shower door did close properly. It was my understand I booked BandB but nobody around in morning at all.just told to leave key on a table. I would never recommend this guest house to anybody. One of the worst places i've ever stayed.

The couple running the guest house are extremely friendly and made me feel most welcome. Everything about the stay was spot-on and I will most certainly stay there next time I pass through Holyhead. No downside at all.

My partner and I booked a room at the b&b however we were upgraded to a self catering suite in the hotel in the Bella Vista for no extra charge. It was in an excellent location, strolling distance to everything. Kevin Murphy was supurb in welcoming us and so were the rest of the staff. Our suite was amazing, it had floor to ceiling glass looking out over the harbour, absolutely amazing view and a balcony to top it off. We couldn't have been more relaxed and struggled to leave the room! They have a lovely quaint and homey bar downstairs which played Irish music on the Friday night and everyone was served with sandwiches and hot chips! I cannot fault the Bella Vista and wouldn't stay anywhere else next time.
