In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guesthouse features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

Great hotel and staff. very clean
front bedrooms very noisey at night from night clubs opposite
clean and tidy
room facing the street too noisy.
The accommodation and the great price.
Having to leave.
Clean. Good breakfast.
The loud music from the clubs on the street playing until 2am
The communal area and location
No sleep- the room had thin walls and ceiling / could eat talking and walking all night- bed and pillows awful- breakfast nothing special
Excellent Location (just off St. Stephen's Green), WiFi was free and had decent signal. Room was very big, clean and comfortable.
Room was so long my TV felt miles away! Didn't watch it though as only had 4 channels!! Staff were a little rude on check in and check out when I requested an invoice.
Location, room size
noise at night coming from copper face jack
Very nice inside, central location, parking and wifi included.
The nightclub across the street. It was a Friday night and there was music and crowd noise, too audible even up on the 2nd floor where I was, until the wee hours.
The fact that u put me I'm the harcourt hotel !!! And only had local TV !!!
Love the elegant common area with fireplace and comfy seating, the period details, the smart renovations that blended modern comforts with Georgian splendor. Reception staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful--ready to print out maps, make phone calls, offer spot-on recommendations. If you can manage it, try to get room #17--recently remodeled, it is attractively furnished with a large, modern bathroom.
I travel a lot for business all over the world as well as for leisure. The hotel is just ok, centrally located but in a very noisy area. For being a 4 star hotel, there's no A/C, no frigobar, no hairdryer, no bathrope and bath slippers. There's isn't even a bar in the lobby. My room was very noisy due to the night clubs on the street and the related traffic of people and taxies. I would not consider to go back to this hotel.
Hot / Stuffy room Noise from across the road
It was close enough and 10 to 15 mins walking distance to the main attractions of the city.
There was a very annoying sound coming from what appeared to be the fan working on the room below that did not allow to sleep until the sound suddenly stopped around midnight.
Huge room, huge bed. Lots of space. Even though it was it was a street level room there I couldn't hear anything from outside, when the windows were closed that is.
Floor was extremely creaky
Staff Facilities Cleanliness Comfort Location
Street noise at night due to the nearby nightclub
*The professionalism and the genuine hospitality of the staff was exceptional. *Located on a quiet street a short walk from St. Stephen's Square. *Simple accommodation with old world charm.
*Location was a little bit of walk for a solo traveler enjoying an evening at Temple Bar, but completely workable.
Really loved our stay in Harrington hall. Staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable
Very comfortable rooms Very stylish efficient and friendly staff Very nice breakfast Within easy walking distance from Stephen's green and Grafton Street
The location. The staff. The character of the building.
Couldn't turn the bathroom mirror light off. Floorboards in the room above us were very squeaky.
Lovely room with huge window. Great location. Clean and pretty. Quiet.
Room was initially a bit stuffy and warm but the ceiling fan really helped. Staff was kind of slow to clean the room. Wall switches were rather complicated.
Location is good
Was Kept locked outside the hotel for 10 minutes, because you have to leave your key at reception. (yes its 2014) After knocking and ringing the intercom, I called their phone number only to be connected to there sister hotel who eventually contacted the member of staff responsible for opening the front door. He was busy bring what looked like a loaf of bread to someones room.
Close to city centre
Very noisy street and extremely warm room with no air conditioning resulting in a very poor nights sleep. Suitable for people who are in town to party not sleep!
