In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guesthouse features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

The Receptionist was very helpful and polite. It is only 10 mins walk to Grafton St and St Stephens Green. The rooms are very clean.
The car park is small, only room for a small number of cars. Best advised to check in early if one has a car. The area is noisy on a weekend night, even though I had a room in the back of the hotel, noise from late night revellers still can be heard.
Not much but the staff were friendly
Our room was very small, stairs lead down to the bathroom which I strumbled down during the night, the bath was sunken and very difficult and dangerous to get out of. The noise was terrible we got very little sleep, night clubs across the street and we heard every noise from the bedroom above us.
The staff first confirmed that the car park was for free, but then caused a lot of trouble, for nothing ... which made my stay more troublesome than enjoyable.
It was everything it should be. It clean, quiet (we had a room in the back) and the location could not be better. Dublin street signs could have been better.
Not too much
location was not for us. difficult to get to; noisy from nightclubs, breakfast passable.
I was obviously not a party goer, but was put into a basement room, with the night club and overspill from the pub right above my window. When I asked to be moved, I was told that the 'band' was showering in the good, quieter rooms to the back, and when they were finished I could have their room. Tell me - who puts a noisy band in the quiet rooms, and a middle-aged frumpy woman in the noisy rooms?? Is there any common sense left in the hospitality world at all?
liked the vibe, sort of classic, comfortable, not sterile and overdone in the common areas. Room was very comfortable and up to date. Parking available, but a little tight, but they do it for you!
I had an exam and I can't complain abt anything. The staff is very nice and extremely cooperative , and the service is prompt . I wld like to stay here again definitelt.
Really central location in a gorgeous Georgian house. The bathroom is really well renovated and brand new.
My room was kind of small and was facing the street. I would have preferred it facing the Iveagh Garden.
A very relaxing comfortable environment within easy reach of city centre and very pleasant helpful staff both day and night. Room décor added to the tranquil ambiance. A very enjoyable stay.
Great hotel and staff. very clean
front bedrooms very noisey at night from night clubs opposite
clean and tidy
room facing the street too noisy.
The accommodation and the great price.
Having to leave.
The noise! Our room overlooked the street and the trams. The street has more than one nightclub and it's very noisey. Yes, the hotel's website tells you, but it's not in the booking.com details. And they refunded cost of breakfasts after a particularly bad night, but.....
High cost of breakfast if delivered to room . cost of breakfast plus five euro delivery per person a little high
Clean. Good breakfast.
The loud music from the clubs on the street playing until 2am
Hotel is on a busy street with a nightclub right across the road banging music until 3am. Also the Luas tram line runs right in front of the bedroom window up until midnight. Room was very small and too hot so did not get any sleep. When mentioned to staff they dismissed the issues we raised. Would not stay again.
staff is friendly and helpful; location in walking distance of everything; tram station nearby; park nearby; breakfast buffet + irish breakfast menu; good wifi
despite not being in the noisy temple street district, there is a bar located some 50 meters from the hotel... Hence, I was kept awake by the people enjoying themselves on the pavement of the bar + the music untill 3am + the taxi horns at 4am
The communal area and location
No sleep- the room had thin walls and ceiling / could eat talking and walking all night- bed and pillows awful- breakfast nothing special
Excellent Location (just off St. Stephen's Green), WiFi was free and had decent signal. Room was very big, clean and comfortable.
Room was so long my TV felt miles away! Didn't watch it though as only had 4 channels!! Staff were a little rude on check in and check out when I requested an invoice.
Location, room size
Harrington Hall is an easy walk from & just south of St. Stephen's Green. It's beautifully renovated and our room/suite was very spacious. Breakfast room was easily accessible and quiet. Free parking was nice. I appreciate their effort to reduce outside noise by installing a second set of glass on the windows.
Though the building has an elevator, which I needed for my elderly mother, it still had stairs from the parking area and from the sidewalk making it difficult for her. Also was given a suite with stairs up to the main sleeping area. The downstairs bedding was a sofa bed, and thus not that comfortable. It's not really their fault, but there's a night club directly across the street, gearing up around 10pm even on weeknights. Despite the hotels efforts to use double glass windows (which I had to discover myself), you could still hear the bass beat while trying to sleep. (I did request a room on the back, but given one in front.) Earplugs help if you are not a heavy sleeper.
noise at night coming from copper face jack
