Food & beverage

Harvey's Point's restaurant is smartly decorated and produces a high quality distinctive cooking with a focus on local ingredients. The interior with its panoramic windows, resident pianist, and attractive crisp linen-laid tables hits just the right note for relaxed elegant dining. Dishes are fresh, tasty and well-timed with starters like feuillete of wood pigeon or seafood risotto. The fresh pan fried scallops is a stunning main course and come with a delicious carrot lemongrass purée, asparagus and cardamone sauce. The restaurant is famed for its sumptuous carvery, and is available for very select special occasions throughout the year.
Thanks to an impressive menu, the hospitality and well-practiced service and a well-chosen wine list includes many fine vintages from around the world, Harvey's Point's restaurant has received prestigious awards, including the AA 2 Rosette Award, the RAC Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence and a “Best Restaurant Award” from Leading Restaurants.

Room information

The rooms have been designed to give the guests’ personalised luxury and privacy with details down to the depth of our sunken baths and king size beds.
Each room is decorated to give the guest a feeling of lavish comfort and space. All have a large bathroom enough to fit 2, with 2 wash basin and tiled from wall to ceiling in Italian marble.

Area information

There is plenty to see and do in Donegal and the area surrounding the town. Nestling on the beautiful shores of Lough Eske, Harvey's Point makes an ideal base from which to explore the countryside; sample Ireland's unique and colourful heritage or indulge in your favourite pastimes, such as fishing, horse-riding, golf or hill-walking. Alternatively, you could simply sit back and spend your time relaxing, just like a holiday should be.

While pets are allowed in the Courtyard Rooms, they are not allowed in the Executive Suites.

Beautiful landscape. Stayed in the least expensive Courtyard rooms, but feel they are best as excellent view of Lough Eske right outside room door. Request a room facing Lough. Would have stayed for longer if I could have.

Location,relaxing atmosphere,good entertainment,excellent bedroom suites...

Disapointing three star breakfast - with little or no service. A limited dinner menu especially as at least three items were not available that evening. Very slow Dining room service - we went to our table at 8.30 and had our coffee in the lounge at 11.05.

Our little poece of heaven and indulgence in a totally peaceful environment. Everytime we go back it jus sems to be better and better. Staff are so friendly and atmosphere so peaceful. If the world was ending next week this is where i'd like to spend my last days.

I loved the whole set up, the surroundings, the staff, the food, it was just what we needed, complete relaxation. Next time I hope to stay in the fabulous Executive Suite which has to be seen to be believed.

This hotel is one of the best i have ever stayed in. The staff dont have to make an effort to make you feel welcome, it comes naturally to them, they were so polite and helpful. The room we stayed in (Executive) was out of this world, it was deff value for money and i would reccomend anyone a stay here, they wont want to go anywhere else! The food was excellent and the service was fab 10/10
