The peace and tranquility The only problem we had was that there was a mistake in our bill when we dined in the steakhouse - it was almost 11 euros more than it should have been. This was quickly rectified. We would not have remarked upon this except that when we were checking out someone else's meal from the night before was added to our bill (we had paid our meals each night so our bill should have been for the room only). Some time was spent checking this when we queried it. It was a bit disappointing that it happened twice during our short stay. |

The whole ambience of the place was wonderful. Very friendly but efficient staff. Super rooms with lods of space and a gorgeous bathroom. Food excellent. The tables in the bar/lounge are uncomfortably low and not wide enough to eat the bar meals off. Maybe a good idea to have a section with more sutable tables for those guests wishing to eat. |

I enjoyed the view, the walking, the excellent room and the superb food. The bar area was too quiet it needed some music to make it more relaxing to chat. |

Very nice hotel in a fantastic setting. The Courtyard Room was dissappointing and we decided to upgrade to an Executive Room which was fab and only marginally more expensive. Dinner was expensive and pretentious. |

the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The quality of furnishings in the bedrooms and bathrooms and in the hotel in general the hotel is situated in a beautiful location but the access road from the main road is very poor and badly signposted |

I thought the hotel and view was pleasant enough in general in hind sight There was damp leaking from the roof at the bar, and at the back of the hall at the wedding, to be honest the reputation of the hotel exceeded the reality, i found the outside room i stayed not properly explained, and the room door backing off directly to the elements wasnt very nice, the receptionist couldnt get the door to open when we arrived and had to run for assistance.. |

Beautiful landscape. Stayed in the least expensive Courtyard rooms, but feel they are best as excellent view of Lough Eske right outside room door. Request a room facing Lough. Would have stayed for longer if I could have. |

Location, relaxing atmosphere, good entertainment, excellent bedroom suites... Disapointing three star breakfast - with little or no service. A limited dinner menu especially as at least three items were not available that evening. Very slow Dining room service - we went to our table at 8.30 and had our coffee in the lounge at 11.05. |

Our little poece of heaven and indulgence in a totally peaceful environment. Everytime we go back it jus sems to be better and better. Staff are so friendly and atmosphere so peaceful. If the world was ending next week this is where i'd like to spend my last days. |

The Sandhouse Hotel is a special hideaway overlooking Donegal Bay at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has been described as 'one of Ireland's west coast treasures'. |
Mill Park Hotel is just a few minutes from the centre of the beautiful Donegal Town. A warm welcome from the staff and management awaits you. |
Surrounded by beautiful tranquil countryside and well-kept gardens, this charming family-run country house offers comfortable accommodation, tasty fresh food and a traditional Irish welcome. |
Making for a lovely weekend with its low-key, late-Georgian elegance and warmth, we are situated in the peace and quiet of gently rolling hills just outside Donegal town. |
