My partner and I had a great stay in Harvey's. We were very welcome by Darina and her mom and they were very kind to us during our weekend in Dublin, giving us suggestions and directions as well. I'd recommend to my friends and come back again, for sure.

Very far from attractions. A 30 minute walk to temple bar area

Wifi signal not strong in bedroom, but fine downstairs.
The owner was very helpful in recommending things to do and places to visit.

It is cosy but quite old fashioned. Tea and coffee facilities in room would be an improvement.
Lovely owner. Location was good.

The familiarity of Harvey s Guesthouse. Exactly all that was needed for a short weekend stay. Close to transports. An excellent service and a very nice breakfast

We went for our anniversary, the family were great hosts and really welcoming. They were happy to chat, advise on tours and nothing was too much hassle. I would certainly recommend staying here. The location is great too, only a short walk and you're in the city.

- The area has a poor reputation due to lesser fortunate people that live in the area - we had no trouble sticking to the main streets
- Day one the lady owner gave me change for the bus - Family owned - everyone is super friendly - Lady owner is so polite, friendly, like a 2nd Mum, makes a great fresh breakfast - Rooms are large and quiet - Super quick walk into town and the bridges

We arrived early so we left the bags in the hotel. We were told our room will be ready when we come but when we got back at 5 p.m.and opened the door of our room it wasnt cleaned. I think the hotel is too expensive for what is offering....
Staff sorted our problem relatively quickly and appologised nicely. Ordered a taxi for us in the morning.

We booked a weekend stay and found the cost high for a guest house.
Beds were comfortable, bedside lighting was excellent for reading and the Georgian house itself was charming. The owner responded in a friendly and effective way to all requests for assistance.

Lovely family run old fashioned hotel around the corner from the busy Main Street. Really friendly staff--they even lent a rain coat for my friend, when we out for dinner in the storm! Rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was the best ever!! It's very quiet and we slept really well. Breakfast is available for £6. I definitely would recommend this hotel; we certainly will be back!

Nothing to complain about.
Very friendly B & B, the owner was especially nice to us and helped us with places to see etc. She made sure we were all happy and comfortable with our stay. If we go to Dublin again we would look to book here again.

Rooms could do with updating
Very friendly, homely with a relaxed attitude.
August 26, 2014
The rooms are very basic with no tea & coffee facilities which we really missed. If you aren't v tall you wouldn't be able to see through the window as the bottom pane was misty. The TV was v old & didn't always work plus the channels were limited.
We liked the friendliness of the owner & the bed was quite comfy. It was a five minute walk to Main Street.

Very friendly staff, willing to help with any queries. Room was spacious & fabalousssssssss comfie bed. Central to areas we wanted, temple bar & croke park. Only 3 parking spaces though & didn't get one so on street parking but was ok due to bank holiday weekend.
