Staff were friendly Room was clean and warm Cheap rate
Room was next to smoking area Appearance of the room, needed to be painted, made the room look dirty/cheap even though the room was very clean
Excellent value for money.Very central.
Close to city centre
Rooms look nothing like pictures on site! Tv didn't work and rather noise guests next door with a tv that was working. Strong fumes of fresh paint
I enjoyed my stay as i always do...i stay here quite alot and have always found it relaxing and comfortable. Staff are very nice and helpful!
Nothing to complain about..
Long Distance of Talbot Street
we loved everything besides there was no food served
no food place
The location is ideal for anyone who needs to stay close to the city centre, as its only about a 5 minute walk from everything. The place is very clean and beds much more comfortable than you would expect for the price you pay. Rooms are always very warm as the radiators seem to be constantly on, so there is always hot water too. Overall it is a great place to stay especially considering how inexpensive it is. Whenever I need to stay in Dublin HazelBrook will always be the first place I'll choose.
The staffs approach to dealing with guests needs to be urgently re evaluated. I've stayed there twice now and so far dealt with 5 members of staff and the majority of them are very hard to talk to and un welcoming. They are not very approachable and very cold in their responses to guests. That aside, I can't think of anything bad to say about HazelBrook.
Room had a view this time. Plenty of channels. Comfy bed. Spacious room.
Room took a while to be ready. Very thin walls.
Good value for the money.
My self and my girlfriend had stayed here a few months back and gave the property a bad review!!! We had heard from others it wasn't so bad as we stay in hotels every week we decided to try it again. Last time we were put in a tiny room but we later discovered this is the annex room which we booked !!! This time we booked at a great value for money price and were delighted with the Lovley room we were given it was quite spacious and very comfortable!!! The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever stayed in !!! Plenty of tea and coffee and a small plasma on the wall !! We are delighted we gave the hotel a second chance and were delighted with our stay we will Definatley be back again !!!!!
Great over all
Nice bedroom and warm room
Had a problem use toilet with water.
Location couldn't be better, staff were pleasant and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the locked storage room after checkout until we were leaving Dublin. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great power. Overall, not bad value for money.
The overall decor left a lot to be desired. A new coat of paint/wallpaper wouldn't go a miss!
I travelled with 4 of my girlfriends and we stayed in a family room. It was perfect for what we wanted and a fraction of the price of an apartment that we was originally looking at. Everything was within walking distance and the hotel shuttle bus stops right out side the hotel.
We didn't have a mirror in the room which was a big issue with 5 girls trying to get ready. However we asked at reception and one was provided on our last day.
The location was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The basic room had everything I needed for one night stay. Also loved the fact that I was able to leave my luggage in a luggage room for a few hours after check-out. The transport to the airport left just outside the place.
Doors were banging and distracted a bit.
Really lovely stay at Hazelbrook House. staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. My room was spotless. Location was perfect and great value for money. I will definitely return!
-localization -transport from/to air port
-noisy streat -small room
Location, price, very quiet room, back garden/smoking area.
WiFi was a bit slow and the bathroom was a bit cramped but overall very nice place
Comfy bed, Good location,
Room wasn't cleaned one of the nights we stayed. Very noisy (Our room was triangulated between a very loud hallway, a bloke who never stopped snoring loudly, and some guys who shouted all the time). Many broken items in our room, TV didn't work, Bathroom light and heater didnt work. Very small room with a tiny window. Our room had no decorations and even had dodgy paintwork on the walls, it was like a student halls. Wifi was incredibly slow and sroped out every 5 minutes.
Price was okay
Too much noise in the rooms in front of the building. Leaking windows, so that creates cold air flows inside the building and lots of noise.
Excellent location. Staff were friendly. The building was kept clean.
The bathroom light switch was broken. The radiator vent controls were broken, so I had the radiator blasting out heat next to my head all night and I couldn't turn it off. The seal was broken around my shower, so water leaked everywhere in the bathroom (I stayed in room 21) My room needed some attention and re-newing, especially because of the cost of staying there.
I liked price (at first), beds. But the most wonderful was staff - very intellegent & careful. Not far from the city centre & different bars with traditional dancing & singing.
Expected to see a great style of rooms because I read about it in advertisment. But... nothing special. The city centre isn't far, but more far than they said. So, I was dissapointed about discrepancy of advertisment & reality.
It was warm.
The tv was tiny and was attached to a bracket about 11 feet off the ground, not ideal for viewing. The Internet was painfully slow when it worked.
-Good location -Bed were comfortable -Some drinks offered
-No breakfast -Noisy -Bath poor
Room looked like it was in the middle of being decorated, holes in wall, loose wires hanging from wall, patches of striped paint and light in bathroom didn't work. If I was exhausted would more than likely have left.
