- Night staff member was very friendly and helpful! - Room was an okay size for three people - Hot water was not a problem - There is a baggage room you can keep your luggage for after you check out and still have some sight-seeing to do
- The heater in the bathroom was a little too warm and we couldn't turn it down - The shower was a bit too small - Day staff member was all a it too serious; not very friendly
really enjoyed my stay here...
Location-wise it was ideal as it was near to where my business requirements were situated.
I reported the television out of order on my first night there and there was a complete apathy towards customer care as the tv was never repaired at all during my stay there and no attempt was made to rectify the problem. Also I had to go to a different establishment to have breakfast.
comfortable, great location, excellent value for money. very close to busaras bus station and connolly train station, and o'connell st...10 minute walk at most.
the luggage area wasn't very secure for those who do not have locked baggage. I was checking out at 11am, but staying in the city for a few more hours so I wanted to collect my bags later. The receptionist gave me a key for the luggage room down the hall. It was surprisingly small for all the bags that had to fit there...and in a quiet area away from the guest rooms, so I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult for somebody to go in and tamper with luggage or take away bags that weren't theirs because there was no tagging/identification system being checked going in and out of the room.
The bed was ok.
Not very friendly staff, poor facilities - lack of amenities in room. Dripping shower - ALL NIGHT. No hairdryer, shampoo etc. Won't be back.
Friendly staff, excellent location, very clean, good value for money
The ppl were nice to
I liked the hole b&b
Value for money The room was warm on a cold night and very clean
I was very happy with my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful the room was always warm and comfortable and stocks of tea and coffee kept replenished
A little bit of general upkeep of the room would serve it well. The window didn't seal the plugs a little loose and the tv was very small, old and poor signal
Very good place to stay in. It is not luxury but what you get for the price that you pay is more than enough. Staff very agreeable and they also provide adapters for those who forget to bring one.
A lack of arrangement. A coat hanger would have help a bit. A bit of noise due to the water pipe.
good wifi in the room. comfy bed.
we stayed the for 4 nights. i asked for new batteries for the tv remote control on first night. but i checked out on 5th day, without getting my tv remote control replaced. i asked for it everytime i pass by the reception, but they said they will get it fixed soon. so my trip in Dublin for 5 days, was without watching any local channel on the tv. it was quite boring. they didnt change our towel. only at 4pm they came to our room & asked if we need new towel or not. sometimes we had to ask ourself to the reception. i recommend you try other hotel next to this hotel. they provide breakfast and maybe better service than this hotel.
Staff were friendly Room was clean and warm Cheap rate
Room was next to smoking area Appearance of the room, needed to be painted, made the room look dirty/cheap even though the room was very clean
Excellent value for money.Very central.
Close to city centre
Rooms look nothing like pictures on site! Tv didn't work and rather noise guests next door with a tv that was working. Strong fumes of fresh paint
I enjoyed my stay as i always do...i stay here quite alot and have always found it relaxing and comfortable. Staff are very nice and helpful!
Nothing to complain about..
Long Distance of Talbot Street
we loved everything besides there was no food served
no food place
The location is ideal for anyone who needs to stay close to the city centre, as its only about a 5 minute walk from everything. The place is very clean and beds much more comfortable than you would expect for the price you pay. Rooms are always very warm as the radiators seem to be constantly on, so there is always hot water too. Overall it is a great place to stay especially considering how inexpensive it is. Whenever I need to stay in Dublin HazelBrook will always be the first place I'll choose.
The staffs approach to dealing with guests needs to be urgently re evaluated. I've stayed there twice now and so far dealt with 5 members of staff and the majority of them are very hard to talk to and un welcoming. They are not very approachable and very cold in their responses to guests. That aside, I can't think of anything bad to say about HazelBrook.
Room had a view this time. Plenty of channels. Comfy bed. Spacious room.
Room took a while to be ready. Very thin walls.
Good value for the money.
My self and my girlfriend had stayed here a few months back and gave the property a bad review!!! We had heard from others it wasn't so bad as we stay in hotels every week we decided to try it again. Last time we were put in a tiny room but we later discovered this is the annex room which we booked !!! This time we booked at a great value for money price and were delighted with the Lovley room we were given it was quite spacious and very comfortable!!! The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever stayed in !!! Plenty of tea and coffee and a small plasma on the wall !! We are delighted we gave the hotel a second chance and were delighted with our stay we will Definatley be back again !!!!!
Great over all
Nice bedroom and warm room
Had a problem use toilet with water.
Location couldn't be better, staff were pleasant and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the locked storage room after checkout until we were leaving Dublin. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great power. Overall, not bad value for money.
The overall decor left a lot to be desired. A new coat of paint/wallpaper wouldn't go a miss!
