Total lack of facilities, no breakfast served. The room was so small I'm covered in bruises getting past the bed.
Nothing - I will never stay at Hazelbrook again.

We were told to keep quiet a few times, so we had to sneak in. They shouldn't have placed us next to a family really
Group of friends, we loved our stay!

We stayed for 3 nights, at no point was the bed clothes changed or was the room cleaned, the room had no air-conditioning (and even with the old victorian style window open constantly) it was still stuffy, and single glazed so you could hear everything. No lift for disabled people, no plug for kettle in room, no bulb in lamp, the shower had 2 setting - boiling or freezing, the lights didn't work, the walls were so thin you could hear everything - everything - in the next room.
The Location was excellent, easy access to all local points of interest, lots of information about local tours and trips etc

No lifts. Top floor room (floor 4) is a long way to haul a suitcase!!

Our flights were delayed and we arrived later than expected. When we arrived, our room was given to somebody else and weren't given another room until the next receptionist got there (3h later). We've tried asking for a refund for the day we weren't able to use but were told to speak to "the next receptionist" and the general manager. It's been almost 3 weeks since we got back and have emailed them several times and we still haven't heard back. I don't recommend this place at all if you're a young couple with a limited budget.
It was 10mins away from the city centre, the bus to the airport stopped right infront of the hotel and there was free wifi.

We were given a decent, clean double room on the highest floor, however it was clearly freshly painted so impossible to sleep in because of the smell of paint fumes. After writing a complaint at the reception staff member found us another room from the back building, which unfortunately turned out to be clearly lower standard: tiny, crowded triple room with only a small roof window, paper thin walls, outdated, shabby and with black mold all over the bathroom wall.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean sheets and comfortable beds.

Was not ever able to get connected to the wiFi, it was very slow
Staff friendly and very helpful. The lady at the front desk went out of her way to help us.

When I booked our family room a month in advance I had great expectations of this hotel, sadly I was dissapointed when our family room (2 adults, 2 children) came with 4 twin beds. I also booked this hotel because they offered free breakfast but once we arrived we were notified there was no free breakfast, in fact there was no breakfast at all. I don't mind the ffact that I have to go out an d get breakfast but a courtesy email or call to notify us would have been amazing! We only stayed two nights but both days we were awakened by a loud fire alarm, which would have been great if there were a fire to alarm us of. Another thing i didn't like was that when the fire alarm went off the lady at the front desk did not UNLOCK the front door!!! Noone came in to clean or restock anything in our room while we were out sight seeing either. Overall I was very disappointed in the service and hotel. I will not be staying or recommending this hotel based on OUR experience here.
location was great just a couple minutes from temple bar and o connell street.

Everything is great

Would like to see some TLC to the fixtures in the rooms. All beds in our room had broken latts under the mattress' & the drawer fronts were propped up beside all 3 bedside tables.
This Guest House was located in a good central location, within easy walking distance of Temple Bar, O'Connell Street, Grafton street etc. Only a 5 minute walk from the Central Bus Station.

Staff Fire alarm sounded at 5 AM without reason or explanations
Price was good but nothing else was at the same level.

The Moroccon lady who was in the reception was very friendly and extremely helpful. Her sense of customer service was excellent.

5 people in one room, with 5 beds and no free space at all. The door to the badroom could not be closed and the cleaning in the bathroom was very loose (if at all done) - Dirt in the corners. Compared to the prices at all other places we stayed during our week long round trip of Ireland, this was the most expensive and worst.
The reception people were very friendly and helpfull. The location was in the city center and everything in walking distance - very nice

Fire alarm going off at 7 am
Being so close to city centre

Having to leave key to room when leaving hotel... just a small issue though. No breakfast option at the hotel.
Amazing location and price. Close to Luas and bus station. Close to Three arena and main shopping streets. Seriously comfortable beds with crisp white bed linen and tea and coffee facilities. Definitely stay again.

Hotel was fine for me and my group of mates for a boozy weekend, but if you're a hotel snob you won't like the basic facilities. Wifi was also quite slow, otherwise hotel was good.
Best part about this hotel was the location, 5 min walk from temple bar and on the same road as the 747 airport bus.

The staff could act nicer... I was given a room on the top floor which was very hard to get to with my heavy luggage. No noise insulation to the corridor, could hear my neighbors fighting very loud, the hotel staff had to go to tell them to be quiet or leave the premises. When I arrived there very many, although polite, construction men painting the corridors. There were just no signs which wall was freshly painted, so when I got to my room with my luggage on the narrow staircase, I touched one of the walls, resulting in a totally white back on my jacket. Luckily I got most of it washed away!
Perfect place to crash for a night or two if you get a good deal like me.The location is excellent, right opposite the stop of the bus from the airport. Walking distance to many sights, and many pubs and shops around. Wifi worked well. Very basic rooms, but they work. Shower was good, the shower head didn't have to be held in hand. The taps on the sink on the other hand were the typical Irish/British style with two separate taps for hot and cold. Very inconvenient. I could leave my luggage in their luggage room for the day after my check-out which was nice, because I was only heading to Limerick late in the evening.

location...and good staff..

The cleaning - Hearpins Receipts and other papers - ear ring and empty bottels in the room when we got ther
More or less evreything
March 6, 2015
It was too hot in the room and the little window didn't really lead anywhere
The bed was extremely comfortable
March 5, 2015
In our 'first' room, the toilet didn't flush + the bathroom door did not close + there was a really annoying sound coming from the ventilation system. We told the personnel about the problem, and they immediately gave us another room at no extra charges.

Much too expensive for the extremely basic facilities. I could not honestly recommend it.
Clean. Comfortable bed, excellent shower.
