Overlooking the mountains, this guest house is located just 1 minute's drive from the centre of Killarney town and a 15-minute drive from Kerry Airport at the gateway to the scenic Ring of Kerry and Dingle trails. Killarney National Park is 30 minutes away on foot, and the famous Aghadoe viewing point is a short walk away. Renovated in 2011, the bright and colourful rooms all feature a private en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and a TV. Some rooms include a work desk or views of the surrounding Killarney countryside. A self-catering kitchen is available to all guests where breads, cereals and tea/coffee are provided each morning free of charge. The kitchen can also be used to cook a light evening meal. At Hazelbrook, guests can enjoy a private scenic garden with a BBQ area, or relax in the spacious lounge. Really enjoyed staying in hazelbrook. Very welcoming and excellent hospitality. Apartment was fresh, comfortable, clean and modern. Looking forward to staying again!

Location Stayed here for one. Only met the owner when we had to ask to pay. Bad value for what we paid for, no breakfast option just a help yourself limited kitchen. It was more a hostel experience than bed and breakfast. 'B&B' title very misleading! Overall disappointing in comparison to other B&B's I've stayed in at Killarney

The location is serene and calm, yet within 5-10 minutes drive from Killarney. Very friendly and helpful owners - they gave us key pointers on where to dine in town and what not to miss on the drive around the Ring of Kerry. There's no formal breakfast offered, but the kitchen / dining area was well-stocked for all guests to have a light breakfast at their own convenience. Even two heaters were insufficient to properly heat up such a big room, however it was manageable.

It was excellent, comfiest beds ever, friendly staff that left you alone but were about if you needed with advice on where to go, walkable into Kilarney (about 25mins), clean and the access to the kitchen facilities are brilliant if you are on a tight budget and breakfast is simple but just what you need. Would highly recommend this place

Hazelbrook as an excellent bed and breakfast. The keepers were friendly, informative and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The house was clean, comfortable and well decorated. The house itself was warm, convenient and clean as well. We enjoyed the option of having breakfast at our own pace, and we loved having access to the kitchen throughout the day if we wanted to eat in. We would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxed placed to stay. It isn't in the heart of the city, but its nice to be away from all of the noise when you want to sleep. A cab ride is about 8 Euros, and Hazel and Gerard are always willing to give you a lift if they are home! Highly recommend it!

Our stay at Hazelbrook made our time in Kilarney. Hazel ( the owner) was so helpful and friendly. The rooms are super clean and homely. The kitchen is great to make a meal . After traveling for 8mths Hazelbrook felt like home and the warmth and hospitality of Hazel was amazing. Thanks Hazel for doing our washing!

Everything in general was great, the warm welcome, the nice and cozy facilities and the place it´s amazing, just outside the village, a perfect point to start a bike tour around the National Park.

A beautiful house with extreamly helpful hosts. The fact that you have the use of a kitchen and didn't have to rush for breakfast in the mornings was great! Beautiful views, lovely area. Will def be back to stay again!

What a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast, coffee, and tea items, the room was spacious and comfortable, and Hazel was very helpful suggesting things to do in the area. We felt so at home here, we almost didn't want to leave to start our touring. We highly recommend this hotel. Water pressure in the shower could have been better, but that's a small thing.
