food and bar staff
reception staff not friendly and brushed us off when we tried to tell them cleaning staff had us awake from 7am making noise and talking .later apologies but giving a late check out for compensation bit of a joke if your up at 7 am. Golf groups dominate this hotel at weekends and drink alot and were loud along qith 2 hen parties .so over all not a good stay .
Food was great..

Very helpful staff
Great welcome from Suzanne at reception and great room number 1.
One word 'Suzanne' she is the bomb, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, I would go back because of her! Wishing her all the best with her new arrival!
- long and complicated way from parking to rooms - hair (definitely from other person) in my bed
The staff and the food was great.
Noise of brawling yobs outside window on main street. Rooms are not exactly sound proof, sound of traffic a distraction.
Room was adequate and breakfast was good
We were told to take the lift to first floor then up the steps to our room. The "steps" was another 3 flights of stairs. One of our party has limited mobility and found this very difficult.
The staff, very friendly and great atmosphere in the hotel. The food in the restaurant was lovely
the intertainment in the evening
The bedroom view
Everything was beautiful
The good nights sleep, the helpful staff. The breakfasts were excellent.
Stopped at this hotel to attend a family funeral and the hotel was very accommodating. Food was tasty - especially the breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only reason for slight mark down on cleanliness was because my brother's room had not been cleaned properly but as soon as they notified reception they were quickly moved to another room. My room and the rest of our party's rooms were clean and ready on arrival.
Lovely food with friendly and helpful staff. Extremely clean rooms. A family hotel with a very welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Excellent food
Very enjoyable stay.l would recommend it to any one. Will stay again.
i really enjoyed the hotel..food and room was lovely..staff were very friendly
i didnt like lipstick on one of the cups in our room..there was a long cobweb above the window.quiet dusty..in the bathroom in corner of bath is damage and is off putting...we were also charged for a west coast cooler we didnt order or drink...
This is a quintessential Irish family run hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Couldn't have done enough for us. Beds and sheets were comfortable. Excellent breakfast and atmosphere all round. Best value for money i've gotten in years
Very hard pillows and poor natural light in my room
Only real option in Kells but it has improved over the years.
A debutante's ball disco pounded away for most of the night right under my room.
Very friendly and helpful staff.Nice atmosphere.
