We had excellent views of the Atlantic with the sun shining, a warm welcome and faultless in interior design of bedroom. The breakfast was top quality.

The house was 20 minutes out of Klonakilty so you need your car to dine out. But then the house was on the coast.

Obviously the location first!! Then the house and the decor and art work scattered around. The light - the peace and quiet and finally the hostess!! We were expecting something good but it surpassed our expectations. It was luxurious without being ostentatious. It was unique and quirky. Marie was so welcoming, informative, entertaining, warm and funny. While we had reservations about sharing the table for breakfast, this proved to be very enjoyable and interesting. The food was just gorgeous - so many choices of top quality food - fruit, cereals, breads, meats, cheeses - the list is endless but I particularly loved the scrambled egg and the delicious organic smoked mackerel from Union Hall. Unfortunately our stay wasn't long enough to taste everything! Marie & Pat do more for the Irish Tourist industry image than anyone I have stayed with. Will definitely return again and am recommending to all friends and family.

A uniquely beautiful location overlooking West Cork and the Atlantic Ocean. Combine this with first class accomadation,a wonderful hostess(Marie) and excellent food and you have Henry's Boutique-a corner of paradise. Experience this and you will agree. We will be back again that's for sure.

    The bed and the views.

The rude and aggressive owner. She didn't like the fact we took a yoghurt from the breakfast table that was served for us anyway. Downhill from there, ruined our trip. We simply had to leave early due to the hostile and frosty atmosphere. We will never stay here again and advise others not to.

The whole place gave you a feeling of complete relaxation from the moment you arrived. They had their own private beach which was lovely to walk on and a great place to skim stones.

    Nothing, loved it all.

Marie at Henry's was a superb host and its location and accommodation is by far the best we have experienced in our travels anywhere. The attention to detail was outstanding.

Marie the host was great. Food was excellent. Location was excellent.

I had no TV despite asking for one. When I asked again I was told I could have a TV but there were no channels just dvds. Also the broadband did not work in the room we were in. But none of this would stop me from going again.
