Leo also has a taxi company so that is very handy at night if we wanted to go out. If Leo was not there or didn't had time Kay brought us. They are very friendly people. They also have a bar and a good evening dinner as well. We be back next year when we go to Skerries and Kilalane to the roadracing.

Hillview house was the perfect location for the Skerries road race. It also offered a reduced fee taxi which was great. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. The room was very spacious with ensuite and everything we required.. The breakfast was superb and set us up for the day. We both like our tea and found that theirs was lovely and a large pot. On departure which was later we were made a very welcoming cuppa and toast. I was advise anyone to stay here as it is so relaxed, quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings.

Very comfortable room and bath. Staff is pleasant and area is very quiet. Somewhat isolated so a car is really necessary although on-location taxi service is available.

Katie the Hostess was friendly and most helpful. She attended to every requeset. The Hillview House has 13 units, all fully occcupied the night of our stay. Excellent Breakfast prepared to our order by Katie. It would be a most pleasant get-away for those seeking escape from urban clutter and clatter. The oldest of the rooms 12/14 in the main house had rather thin walls, could hear our neighbors conversing. A gentle tap on the walls and they reduced their volume. If the weather had been more accomodting (very cold and windy at our stay end of April) we would have loved to walk on and near the nicely maintained grounds. Overall a most pleasant place, and Katie a cheerful and clever hostess. Much futher from Dublin than we were seeking (Heinekin Rugby semifinal game in progress, everything booked) consequently, very hard to find using google maps or even our mobile Tom-Tom gps because the addresss wasn't recognized. And the published gps coordinates were a bit off. Katie did respond be emial and by teleophone to guide us in. She then compared the Bookings.com advertised coordinates and agrees they are misleading, and she was in process of contacting them to change them when we left.

Omdat we klaagden over de koffie, kregen we direct daarna goede koffie uit een machine. We zouden graag een stoel in de kamer willen hebben.

It was cheap. Breakfast room was nice. It has a bar. The room I was staying in needs updating. It was very small. Someone kept banging a door righ beside my room from early morning. I woke up a few times. There were three channels on the tv.

It was clean The room we were given was situation opposite a crops field and they had this really annoying "gun shot like" instrument to scare the birds away. It kept us awake all night and when i mentioned it the next day the girl in the kitchen said it only started at 7.30am, which on a Sunday morning when you are not expecting gun shots intermittently going off is not very nice. She was also quite rude about it and not very apologetic, I guess she must be used to get complaints. The shots go off throughout the day, until late at night. I would just make sure you get a room that is not opposite this crops field. The cock also starts crowing at 5am.
