Check in staff were brilliant. Dining room staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Very near Heuston Station and we were able to get No. 40 bus to Glasnevin Cemetry and to city centre. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices and plenty of everything.
Bar staff were not very friendly and didn't seem to know what time the bar closed. Turned away a couple at 12.15am when the bar was open until 12.30am - Bank Holiday weekend. The hot tap in the bath was broken and by the time we were having a shower at 8pm (after a long day sightseeing) the water was only barely warm.
The location was great. The hotel was stunning, the staff were very friendly. We are planning our next trip already.
Being charged 24 euro for overnight parking
That there was a pool break fast was very good
that it was not open before 8am on a sat or sun
Great hotel in a good location. Outside the city core, but with easy and quick access to DT.
Staff were extremely attentive from start to finish. Room was excellent and so was breakfast.
Nothing to add here
The bed was super comfortable
The tea at breakfast tastes if coffee . Are the cups that unclean ?
Excellent location, room spacious, staff very attentive, great breakfast an overall enjoyable experience and will definitely stay at the Hilton again
- Breakfast was good, a buffet with a lot of different products. - The spa and wellness were very nice (closes a bit to early) - The room was big and spacious (the bathroom a bit less)
- There was a rumbling noise in the room all day and night (similar to a truck parked next to your door with the engine on). This had a tremendous effect on our sleep (needed my earplugs to find some rest) - The heating in the room was not working properly.
Fantastic hotel, clean rooms, nice food.
everything was cool!
Rooms quiet, clean, well serviced. Staff very attentive and courteous.
Both mornings, 'hot' buffet was barely warm
I checked into this hotel after a particularly distressing night in A&E after being robbed walking back from Temple Bar. The staff couldn't do enough to help me & I was so grateful. The meal I had in the restaurant was outstanding.
The location isn't perfect as it's quite a distance from the centre but the benefit then is the lack of noise from the streets.
I loved the beds and the friendly staff in the evening.
The staff in the morning seems tired and unmotivated. But they did try to be friendly the breakfast was more for meat and sugar lovers. Not suitable for people that are vegetarian and vegans. But I am sure they don't get that often.
Beds are really comfortable and the rooms are well equipped.
There was some noise from a generator/air con unit/other machine audible from early in the morning... I reported this to the desk and was offered free parking as compensation which I thought was fair.
Bed was good
Pillows were awful. Woke up with sore neck
Room was great. Plenty of space, tea/coffee and good bathroom with nice shampoo etc. We had an excellent late lunch in the rather spartan terrace bar - not welcoming at all - but the food was very good, if a little slow in arriving. We did not try the pool. Breakfast was excellent with particularly good breads but the dining room was very cold. Maybe they were trying to get us out fast! The staff were pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel.
Wifi did not work on my iPod until a staff member adjusted its cookie settings for me. Instructions would have been good in the room itself. The only reason we would probably not return here is the hotel's location which is perfect for Kilmainham Jail and IMMA and if you have a car (underground carpark), but not if you've come by train. It was a fifteen minute walk to Heuston and two Luas stations so a little out of the way if you'd prefer to be more city centre. There were buses in the immediate vicinity and taxis of course!
Breakfast staff were good & room was very comfortable .
One of the barstaff was wanting us to drink up & leave on Monday night & it was not very late .
Location and car parking.
Very disappointeď.Breakfast was cold with fatty bacon and eggs that looked as if they were cooked yesterday. No slippers or dressing gown in the bathroom thought they were standard for a 4Star hotel. Toiletries very scarce only enough for 1person as was the milk and teabags. Expensive at 163 Euro on a Tuesday night .
Bed was a great size
Breakfast was only average sausages were white and brown bread was mouldy
We had to leave at 6 in the morning and staff organized a nice break fast in the lobby. Highly appreciated...
Very helpfull staff
The breakfast was cold. Asked for tea and was given coffee in a pot labelled tea...
Friendly staff - comfortable room.
11 euro taxi fare from the centre of Dublin
shower bed breakfast staff
Cleanliness No iPod dock Location a bit out Price
