Beresford Hotel    

Awesome location! Close to tram, shops, and quick walk to O'Connell street. My kids room was perfect, but ours was a little noisy. My husband said "we are in the middle of Dublin, drink a few more Guinness you'll sleep fine". Dinner meals in restaurant were excellent, and they offer a 10% discount to hotel guests.

minor problem with water temperature, but staff addressed the concern.

We stayed for only 1 night, its not a negative point but Room Service arrived at around 9 o clock in the morning when we had checkout arranged for 12 o' clock. Considering the staff they should be informed of how long clients are staying for, checkouts etc. It was a great stay, comfortable and quiet, you could hear the train and a small hustle and bustle of the city which was good early into the night, very nice bathroom facilities, relaxing all round. My girlfriend enjoyed it also, in particular the staff in the bar and reception were very courteous, we ordered cappuccino's from the room by phone and they called to say it was ready and collected it, not overpriced at all...Highly recommended for price!

Room very close to railway line and noisy although quietened down into night.

We had a Georgian suite It was beautiful, the corridors and the beautiful paintings and our own private entrance. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was good. Breakfast was good value

Location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The first room we were given was shocking noisy with trams running outside! The lady on reception was very helpful in finding us another room facing on to the courtyard which was quiter.

The room we had was nothing like those advertised on web site, it was dated, it was too hot despite the radiators not being warm. Beds not particularly comfortable.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel - if you don't mind noise or intend on having a drink before bed.

The lift was scary, I refused to use it again as it felt it was going to drop any minute. The floorboards were excessively squeaky, we heard everyone walk by our room. The windows provided no protection from street noise. The bed was uncomfortable.The shower was cold,but it was kind of a relief as the room was too hot with no air conditioning. Far too overpriced for the quality - for twenty quid extra I could have stayed in a four star hotel!

Has a 4 day midweek break in Dublin and found the hotel to be just what we required. The 747 bus stop coming from airport is just round the corner and for going back is directly across the road from the hotel. Great Irish Music bar, The Celt, is just around the corner and it's only a few minutes walk to O'Connell St. The centre is slightly further away, as is Temple Bar, this means it is a bit quieter, but all are within walking distance. We were on the 4th floor directly opposite the bus station but there was no noise that bothered us. Room was very nice but did not use the restaurant as cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within easy reach.

Ideal location for business and leisure, more intemate than larger big chain hotels, free wifi.

Breakfast selection and quality excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, great offer for stay, very good location and access to bus station excellent. Lovely restaurant within hotel and onsite computer/internet access with printing facility available as an extra bonus

Very spacious compared to the other hotels on our trip, the place has character (which some may love and others not so much). Good restaurant downstairs, central location (7 minutes walk to the spire).
