Ocean Spirit Spa is a sanctuary for health, beauty and wellness. Here you can experience pure pleasure, intense relaxation and well-being with a range of specialised massages, soothing facials, exotic hand and foot spa treatments and luxurious body peels and wraps. Ocean Wave Hair Salon is also located on site.

Food & beverage

The Islands Restaurant in Hotel Westport is renowned for its warm welcome, friendly service and excellent food. You can choose from the á la carte and table d’hôte menus, as well as an extensive wine list. Dinner is served between 18:00-21:30 each evening. Sunday Lunch is available between 13:00-14:30pm. Private Parties also catered for.

The Maple Bar serves good food, in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere, with daily specials until 21:00 each evening. It is also ideal for a relaxing catch-up over a drink or two, with music each evening from 22:00 onwards.

Area information

Westport House (3 km) - Westport House is one of Ireland's most beautiful and historic homes, located in the most spectacular setting. The house is open from March until October for viewing. Located in the grounds are many attractions for children of all ages.

Walking/Hiking (4 km) - There are several excellent walks in the Westport area including a town walk and walks of the surrounding countryside. The walks are ideal for strollers while the hills and mountains offer a stiff challenge to the accomplished walker.

Blue Flag Beaches (10 km) - All of the local beaches are only a short drive from Westport. Walkers love the firm footing and ever changing landscape, as well as the joy of strolling in solitude by an Atlantic shore.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel and the rooms were a bit outdated.

Car park was a short distance from reception. Staff friendly and polite. Rooms clean and warm.

Quality of meat in the cooked breakfast was poor, saying that tea and toast came quickly, and all other aspects of the breakfast was enjoyed.

Staff were nice, except for when ordering breakfast, the girl had very little english and had no idea what I was ordering.

There could be more power points for use of hairdryers and for charging phones. I taught the rooms were very basic for the price we were paying and the en-suite could do with a major face lift. I wouldnt stay there again because it's expensive for what you get.
