Comfortable hotel with good pool and gym. 7 minutes walk to town. The decor seemed a little tired but I can't say that that really bothered me.

Fantastic place to stay, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. The cooked breakfast was excellent with plenty tea and coffee and juice available. The bar staff were very efficient and when I lost my credit card holder with money and cards inside it was kindly handed in by the night porter to reception! A big thank you!! I would highly recommend this hotel and we will stay here again!

Hotel was convenient to the town centre. €150 for one night for a room in Westport is far too expensive. Also, the rooms were fairly jaded - not unclean, but they definitely could do with sprucing up. Some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and yellowing.

The location is good, very central yet very quiet. I think parts of the hotel have been refurbished, our room was not. It was dark and dated nothing like the rooms on the pictures. The walls had stains and I don't think it had been hovered before we arrived. Breakfast wasn't anything special, and the staff at reception were rather unhelpful.

Enjoyed the facilities and the friendliness of staff. Thought the location did not do the hotel justice. However having driven down the entrance from main road I did assume a lot of construction was in progress so no fault of the hotel

The friendly staff. The food, though the menu was much restricted from the other times Ihave stayed there. The quiet and restful situation and easy parking. the lovely river walk behind the hotel was perfect to stretch your legs in early morning and evening.

The rooms were a bit old fashioned - for a 4 star hotel and bathrooms need an upgrade

The staff were extremely nice. The location means you can walk to the town of Westport. Some of our group had the afternoon tea which they said was very nice. Our room was a bit dated but apparently they are doing up the hotel at the moment. Our shower needed updating too. We were 5 adults travelling together and at dinner in the dining room we bought a bottle of red wine but the waiter had obviously not been trained in pouring wine and proceeded to fill four of our glasses to the top and there was only a tiny amount left for the person who had selected and tasted the wine! He then asked would we like to buy another bottle!!!!!

It was warm and cosy after a long, tiring day. He watched the rugby while I had a swim and a sauna before heading to the bar for fabulous food and night cap before sinking into a comfortable bed! Thanks for a great overnight. Being sandwiched between three families when we were staying as a couple!

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is located within walking distance of the town. The beds are very comfortable and bathrooms spacious. The food is very good. Prefer to choose my own table for breakfast rather than wait to be seated.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a warm welcome and farewell. The room was comfortable and spacious. The leisure centre was pleasant, we went late on Firday evening and it wasn't busy so it was quite relaxing and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was not well run. The staff were a mixed bunch. We had 2 breakfasts in the restaurant and one evening meal.We were unaware of the breakfast queing system. Guests had to que rather than tables that were set for dinner being reset for breakfast. Later at dinner it was approx 30mins before our order was taken after we were seated. We had to approach a server and got a huffy response. The restaurant is where the hotel falls down and needs to be managed better. The food itself was fine.
