The village/countryside.Rooms very well furnished and comfortable; quiet location. Deadful background music played all the time, no variation, very intrusive; asked for it to be turned off, but no response! |

Friendly and generally helpful staff. Nice homely environment- child friendly too- helped with our 10 year old daughter and competitively priced bed and breakfst compared with other local accomodation. Good location next to all main facilities in Ballyvaughan- which can be quiet even at bank holidays. Burren and surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty- stunning but not for real party goers. Not really- could have been a wider variety of food perhaps more competitively priced- slightly. A few more staff perhaps and a lick of paint and varnish here and there to freshen it up. Very pricey due to collapse of the pound. |

Most staff members very friendly and helpful. TV reception very poor. We had to to go to other establishments to view European Cup and Wimbledon, which meant we ate out too. Other places have Sky, why can't Hylands? Otherwise, fine. |
