The staff were really really nice, even though it was off season for them, they still did everything the same for us.

We stayed at the Hylands Burren Hotel for a wedding being held nearby. The location was excellent. The hotel staff was extremely friendly from ck in to breakfast servers to bartenders to room cleaning staff. We felt very relaxed here. The staff were very helpful in recommending things to do locally. It was overall a great experience and I would definitely stay there again. No atm in town

This is a small old-fashioned, country hotel, situated in a very beautiful area, with a lively bar with live music. Great Guinness! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an ideal area for walking/sightseeing holidays. Ballyvaughan is a charming little village with a decent selection of restaurants, we recommend L'Arco (Italian) around the corner from the Hotel.

Front desk staff were good at dealing with (our room and lack of hot water ) problems. Good location. Good cooked breakfast. The standard of some of the bedrooms was very poor, we needed to move twice before we got a damp free room!

Great location, relaxed and friendly hotel. Poor breakfast service one morning - differed from other two mornings. One guest ordered poached eggs and was brought just one egg rather than the usual two. Two guests ordered toast and we were brought just one small slice each which was inadequate.

Good location, nice bar,and food, 4 star prices for a 3 star, useless check in staff, they can see a queue of people waiting to check in and ignore everyone,in our case for nearly a half hour, and the beds are tiny, not quite a double bed more a 3/4,its not like theres alot of hotels in this area so you have to put up with it,pity really..

Excellent location in a beautiful part of the country. Friendly and helpful staff. They should consider having plain pan fried or grilled fish on the menu. Fresh local products are best served without sauces or batter.

The friendly and cosy atmosphere, the standard of food and the spacious and comfortable room all made for a wonderful break. My cousin from Australia with whom I stayed was impressed by the hotel and it's value.

The location is great in the middle of the village and there was good parking. There was a terrible smell of cigarette smoke in the rooms we stayed in that lingered on everything. There was no hot water in the evenings. Also there was a strong smell of disinfectant in the lobby. The service at breakfast time was terrible with the waiting staff running around trying to avoid eye contact with guests.

The staff are really helpful and friendly. Ballyvaghan and the Burren are very special places. Nothing major. But why don't you have green tea?
