Less than a 5-minute drive from the M50 highway, the Bewleys Hotel Newlands Cross is located just 6 miles from central Dublin.
Score from 873 reviews Good
Set on 240 acres on the edge of Dublin, Citywest features an impressive health and recreation club, a Christy O’Connor Jnr-designed golf course, and a selection of on-site bars and restaurants.
Score from 936 reviews Very good
4 miles (4 miles) from central Dublin and a 5-minute drive from the M50 highway, near the Naas Road exit, the hotel has a free shuttle to Temple Bar on weekends (one-way).
Score from 635 reviews Good
At Dublin's gateway to Ireland (highway M50/N7 exit/access), the Red Cow is a great base for exploring Dublin and the surrounding countryside.
Score from 402 reviews Very good
The staff were so friendly and helpful they printed out directions to Crumlin childrens hospital for us and gave us directions to the nearest village, nothing was to much.
Our maid was lovely and gave us loads of info about transport etc. Bar area comfy and good atmosphere. Close to tram stop or approximately 20 Euros in a taxi to Dublin centre.
Busy hotel with lots of different people staying there gave the lobby and bar a nice lively buzz. Beds where good. Pint in bar nice. Would stay here again.
Thought pillows were quite bad. Very hard and flat and no extras.
Location, less than 10 mins walk to the Luas and straight to the 3 Arena. Great breakfast
food wifi able to arrive late
Easy access from hotel to citycentre and airport, situated on m50 so ideal for business travellers
Breakfast very good. Staff very helpful. Good price.
Very basic room that needs modernisation. Bathroom especially needs attention as looking grubby. Was clean though.
It had food on it ... It was apparent someone actually ate on top of the menu.
We stayed here 6 weeks while we were working in Clondalkin. (6pers, 3 room) The hotel is modern and well maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast from 6:30.
a few times noisy neighbours
The receptionist I checked in with and my bed very comfortable.Room very clean.
One of the receptionists on the evening shift was very rude to a young male looking for accommodation. Only one of the receptionist could do with a customer care course.
The most disgraceful hotel I've ever walked into. The minute we walked in the room we got a refund straight away. There was no way we wer gonna stay in that hotel. It was dirty. No bathtub. Rip off. This is like half a star out of five. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
Good location, right next to the M50, loads of free parking which is rare for hotels in and around Dublin.
On check in the receptionist was quite rude and brushed off our late check out request. As a result we got woken up the next morning asking why we had not checked out yet. The girl that rang was very polite however and once I explained we had requested a late check out the day before there was no problem.

Staff are polite but as not owned by Ireland dont expect to have Irish staff looking after your needs. Sometimes language is a barrier but ideal for a night or two.
Not a lot!
Unhelpful staff, that had no local knowledge, even giving us the wrong time for the local bus taking us to the airport, room cards that didn't work each time we returned to the hotel as they can't be kept next to phones, money, in your purse in your wallet, not sure where we were expected to keep them! Although it is a budget hotel it's in desperate need of some TLC, grubby looking, needs a good clean and a lick of paint! Found the staff to be rude and unhelpful, no smiles or welcome! Although the sheets appeared clean there were stains on the duvet itself! The website states the bus stops outside the hotel, however this is untrue, it's a 10/15 minute walk over the motorway, with bad sign posts, needless to say we were unhappy walking in circles in the rain looking for the bus stop/tram! The menu is very misleading, despite the two menus stating restaurant and bar, they were two different menus with two very different prices, neither price warrenting the standard of food! We would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning!
The size of the room. The big comfy bed. The room & bathroom were spotless.
The room was spacious, comfortable and in fairly good condition. I have paid alot more money to stay in Central Dublin in far worse hotels. I would prefer to stay here, pay less and travel in.
We had a meal in the restaurant and it wasn't great!
Very close to our destination, easy access, friendly & helpful staff. Thumbs up!
The heater in the room can be controlled by us. A primary concern for us when doing the booking as we are from 33 Celcius climate. A 15 minutes walking distance from red cow tram and bus station. You have to walk over the blue arch bridge and turn right to reach the hotel. You can the bus from this station direct to the airport. Need 20 minutes to reach city centre by tram but the tram service in good.
No shops or supermarket nearby.
Quiet and comfortable. The rooms are large, airy and very comfortable. The bathrooms are a good size and the double glazing works very very efficiently. This hotel is right beside a busy motorway but you wouldn't know it! It's only 5 minutes walk from a nearby Luas (tram/metrolink) station which takes you right to heart of Dublin and right on the motorway network to the rest of the country. Once you know how to find it - a gem of a place with polite, friendly staff.
The only thing I didn't like (and I'm being picky) is that I had to walk a long way from carpark into the hotel in freezing sleet - but that's hardly the hotel's fault! lol
The cost. The convenience of location. Helpful, cheerful staff.
very close to tram line , if heading into Dublin city, cheap and clean hotel, lots of parking,,,
Tought it was great value
