Breakfast: bread was spoiled but it was probably difficult to spot it. Not nice day because of that.
We were welcomed by Phil and straight away, her warmth and smile made us feel welcomed. We were shown to our lush room, with a huge cupboard for storing our bags, hanging space and extra snugglers for the bed - and it had a light! The ensuite had a huge full pressured shower which has been the largest we have had during our 14 day trip. Views out to the Atlantic ocean and a beautiful sun room to relax and take in the beautiful surrounds. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. It was sad that we only had booked one night, we were so rested here.
In hindsight, would have loved to be able to book more nights.
Food was average enough
Very comfortable room, everything indicated that thought had been taken with the décor. Excellent choice at breakfast. Very welcoming owner
Difficult to find. More road signs/better signs.
Phil was very kind, giving us tea and coffee and cake on arrival. We had laundry to do, and Phil allowed me the use of her washing machine and clothesline. Also, the bar food just down the street overlooking the water, was exceptional. Great stay.
Phil and her husband were fabulous. The room was beautiful and we were greeted with afternoon tea and sweets which was perfect on a blowing rainy day. This was a perfect spot away from Dingle
Beautiful house and very kind couple running it,couldn't have been more helpful!gorgeous setting overlooking the bay and mountains, especially if weather is nice!lovely little beach down the road and only 10 min drive from dingle town,so peaceful and beautiful!
Great in room accommodations with a full bed not two twins together, walk in shower and a full breakfast with menu options. Phil runs a little store and post office out of the house as well.
Philomena and Michael were the most amazing hosts - and their B&B was in the most beautiful location of our entire trip. When we first arrived, we got to Bally David but had not found the Imeall na Mara location, so we called. Rather than giving us directions, he located where we were and drove to us so that we could follow him there. We felt like that was going above and beyond...and we genuinely appreciated it! The room was immaculate, the view absolutely beautiful, and Philomena gave us wonderful suggestions on what to see as we drove for a day around the Dingle Peninsula. When we arrived back in the afternoon, Phil greeted us with tea and a slice of the most delicious carrot cake. Breakfast had a wide selection of options - the pancakes with fruit was amazing and their Irish breakfast and omelettes were outstanding as well. From the breakfast room, the view is of the bay. WiFi was accessible anywhere in the house. Although this B&B is 10 kilometers from Dingle, it is well worth the drive. The location is the most beautiful we had during our entire trip - and the owners are friendly and make everyone's visit an exceptionally good one. Make the effort to get to this beautiful place!
There was nothing we did not like.....
Everything. To start, Phil and her family are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. The town is very charming, close enough to Dingle but tucked away so you don't feel like a tourist. Spacious rooms, clean and modern, we loved it!
There was nothing not to like. Best B&B we have stayed in 10/10 Phill was the best cook friendly helpful most relaxing beautiful place & Breakfast Michael had a good sense of humour nice food at local pub locals super friendly
Wow what an amazing place, Phil was just wonderful, great breakfast and the seaviews from our room amazing, it is in a great location and very quiet. We ate at the local pub it was fantastic great prices, try the seafood platter it is out of this world.
Across the road from Imeall na Mara are a few very small fields, one with sheep and the other with a horse. Directly beyond the fields is the ocean coming into the bay with a few small fishing boats bobbing on the surface. Beyond that are the breathtaking mountains. The best part is that we could see all of it from our room! I opened the window wide (no screen) and just took it all in- the total silence, the smell of the ocean, and the beauty of it all. It brought me to tears. Our hostess, Philomena “Phil” was very welcoming and made us a pot of tea and a delicious vanilla meringue topped with fresh strawberries. Our room (and the whole B&B) is pristine and very comfy. Breakfast was delicious at Imeall na Mara. We chose traditional Irish breakfast. The B&B had a beautiful breakfast/sun room overlooking the scenery. We were in love with everything about it.
Great hosts, incredible view from the room, the actual room was excellent and only 4 min walk to the beach and the superb pub TP's. Oh yeah, and the amazing breakfast.
loveley people, great breakfast and stunning views. perfect location!
you need to be aware, that the village is located at the edge of Dingle Peninsula, therefore it is kind of at the edge of the earth. we loved it!
Very clean, nice quiet location with great view. But the pub is a 2 mn walk just in case ...
A wonderful place--especially since we were trekking along the Dingle Way--beach walking and then into Ballydavid--and to come upon Imeall na Mara with its location, comforts, warm greeting! A perfect stay. Excellent breakfast. The kind hosts suggested the nearby pub for dinner and then the spectacular walk along the rugged coastline, plus a drop down to the Gallarus Oratory.
The room was spotless!!!! She greeted us at the door and brough us tea and baileys cheesecake!!!! We also had the most amazing fudge left on our bed. It was dark chocolate rum raisin. The view from the room was stunning and breakfast was tasty :).
I cant think of anything I didnt like.
Beautiful house and lovely room. Perfect hosts. Breakfast was great. Location to die for with amazing views and great walking along the cliffs a few minutes away. A local pub with great food and music a very short walking distance.
There is nothing to not like about this place. Only shame was as we booked late we did not have a sea facing room but that was our issue!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Well situated near the shore. Phil and her sister are warm and welcoming people. And last but not least: one can learn Irish from the hostess during breakfast.
We had a wonderful time, everything was perfect. This place is amazing and would recommend it to everyone. Great hiking trails, close to the Blasket Island boat and Dingle town.
Everything was simply perfect and the stay was amazing. Very nice and warm welcome with cake, cream and coffee, breakfast was delicious and couldn't be better. Wonderful view and we were sad we had to leave. Best of B & B in Ireland we've been so far. Absolutely to recommend!
Absolutely outstanding. Would recommend to friends and family.
Very comfortable, very reasonable, very friendly
