IMI provides professional resources with a minimum of fuss. Sleeping accommodation is very good and the breakfast arrangement generates its own air of relaxation. Free wifi! A great place.

Breakfast The receptionist was rude and ignorant. I asked him to get me a duvet since the one in the room was very thin, I was very cold. He was not very helpful and polite and said they have no spare duvet at the moment, maybe on the next day. The next day we asked again, but he was watching the football match and since we disturbed him with our query he become verbally rude and angry with us. He sent us away without duvets. The match was more important for him than the guests. Then we asked a cleaner for duvets and she showed us a room, full of duvets. She gave us one. That is how I got high temperature and cold on my 3 day visit in Ireland. I was supposed to visit my first grandchild. I would warn everybody not to book to this place at all!

I was skeptical as it is part of a research centre and didn't have a bar or restaurant but there is lot to be said for peace. there were no post wedding revelers crashing about the halls at 5am. It was a very respectable, clean, warm hotel, were free parking and lovely staff. It was only a stones throw from Dundrum Town Centre too. Nothing to do with the hotel but it is suburbia and lacks a restaurant or bar option. The shopping centre is nearby though. This is a perfect hotel for business or a retired couple but its too far out for a tourist or someone depending on the Dublin nightlife for entertainment.

Stayed there for one night found the staff friendly and helpful , the room was clean bed comfortable and breakfast had adequate variety. I would have no reservations about staying there overnight The appearance of the building is very stark , could do with some paint. The room was far too warm overnight I had to open the window wide .

Close to M50, bus, Luas, Dundrum and Stillorgan where my relatives live. Free, easy parking although it was a lot busier in the car park during this stay. Breakfast is fantastic and amazing that it is included within the price. The blonde lady to clears up the breakfast area and replenishes the stock is brilliant and v. friendly. Free tea/coffee and mezzanine facilities to eat take aways is also excellent. Gym facilities are okay if a little basic and the TV doesn't appear to work anymore. The Residence was fairly busy on this visit which may be the reason that we had poor service in comparision on other stays in the Resdience. We stayed in F19 and on Sat 10 December my husband was woken and kept awake by neighbours having a loud argument for an hour or more. F19 - Towel rail and soap holder both loose in the bathroom. On Saturday 10 December one pillow per person was all that was in the room on arrival but very helpful male staff at check in sorted that out immeadiately. No complimentary mineral water in the room on arrival as per the website but tap water was fine. Safe had a low battery but again that was sorted the following day. On Thursday 15 December all towels were removed but no new ones left but rectified once a member of staff was located when we returned to the hotel. When looking for staff, my husband noticed the door to a plant room was propped open, even though it said 'fire door keep closed' and lots of electrics on show. Concerning as children were in the Residence. On Friday 16 December the cleaning staff emptied bins but that was all - a pillow case left out for washing following an accident with Club orange, glasses and cups were left dirty and unwashed/unchanged. A review of access to fire doors would be good - tub chair blocking exit near gym and bay tree in large pot blocking fire door in stairwell near reception.

Good Location. Good value for money. Quite a nice breakfast. Found it amazing that the heating was on full belt all night ! in a small room hardly eco friendly.I Had to have the window open all night and I really did not sleep well.I Think it was because the bed was near the radiator and as mentioned the rad.was on at high all night -too hot. There seemed to be no way of adjusting it. The rad also made a noise like a tractor...we called the porter and he gave it a shove and it stopped. However no sooner was he gone and it started again.I Figured out how to stop it by jamming a plastic bottle between the rad an the timber ledge above it. Anyway overall it was grand.

It is very close to dundrum shopping centre. The staff were rude, it was difficult to find, it felt more like a conference building than a hotel, the double bed was two single beds pushed together

Was oversold on booking web site, was more a hostel than a hotel, location was not as close to Luas, Dundrum town centre as advertised, overall standard of accommodation was pretty dismal. It was reasonably clean, but other than that has nothing to reccommend it.

Relaxing atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room. Access to city centre very easy with bus just outside and the luas tram system within a 15 minute walk. Dundrum Town Centre shopping mall very close. From arrival to departure everything was perfect. Will certainly aim to be back.

“The bedrooms are of a good size, very clean and comfortable and although the weather was extremely cold, the rooms were warm and cosy. The buffet breakfast was very good as were the restaurant meals.Public rooms and bars were very pleasant. Location great for the Aviva stadium. Buses to the city centre are frequent from outside the hotel and there is an airport bus which stops outside. I will definitely stay here again.” Jacqueline, Bath |
