Perfect location for a night out and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Room doors weren't too secure, need to be updated to swipe cards.
The woman at reception was on the evening we arrived and the following morning. We were in a hurry, she was great, we needed to print tickets for a concert, taxi etc she got us sorted, was very patient. Hotel is perfect, we just needed a place to sleep, as we were at a gig that evening so location couldn't be better. Breakie was perfect, the Lady serving us was run off her feet but still had a smile on her face. Night porter was very friendly too. For what we paid our experience was top notch.
breakfast was good, our room was clean and comfortable
there was no restaurant for lunch or dinner
ripped sheets Noise, noise and more noise creepy crawlies
The room was very clean and the staff were very nice.
If you were out and happy to come back and pass out it is a fine hotel for that. Unfortunately if like me you are not going out the noise from the bar and the people coming out from the night club will keep you awake until at least 3am if not longer. Breakfast was fine except for the lack of a cup to have my tea which was noticed by the lovely waitress. She disappeared (I assumed) to get me one and never returned. I will say she was busy and there was only two waitresses on the floor with at least 40 people in the restaurant.
Staff were very good and the bar area is a great spot for good fun. D.J. Excellent.
T.V. NOT WORKING IN BEDROOM AND BEDS A LITTLE BIT HARD.
food, friendly, staff couldn't do enough for us thanks to you all definitely coming back
Staff were lovely especially at the check in desk
The noise at night. Not a place for familys with young children
Breakfast was good.
Noise levels on main street went on until 5.00am . No signal on tv so therefore it wasnt working. Bad internet connection.
Cleanliness. Breakfast. Location. Staff
The breakfast was good
The wi-fi was not very good at all & I will let my family and friends be aware of this.
TV didn't work Décor poor
The friendliest receptionist we have met in our travels, cheerful, witty and very helpful with information on dining options in town! We thought we had just got lucky but the waitress at breakfast was just as good. Must be something in the water there.
There was a problem with TV reception in the rooms -temporary, we think but we missed being connected. Also, there was a lot of loud music late into the night from a pub across the street.
If traveling by motorcycle there is no safe parking there was 12 of us. And we were recommend by a local biker not to use the car park as the bikes would not be safe we were lucky to be able to use the local garda station thanks for that.
Reception Staff was extremely nice
No WiFi.. That's a very big issue when you promise it.. Also cold water and kettle not working. Club downstairs with music all night but actually that was the least of my concerns..
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was really nice
Very noisy in the room - you could hear everything going on outside. No facilities for food Car park not secure
noisy. no food on sunday night tv broken, out of their control .????
The hotel is situated in an ideal location. We were looking for a weekend were we could just chill out so there were plenty of we bars to do so and lots of shops and shopping centres . Dundalk stadium was fantastic with horsecracing and the dogs plus duco afterwords was a great nite.
If you have young children this hotel will not suit you it is very loud as there is a disco next door for the younger ones and a disco in the hall downstairs in the hotel as well
Very expensive to stay in , poor breakfast .
Friendly staff ,Excellent breakfast plenty food great value for money.
Room was cold on arrival felt disused, located on 2 floor facing onto back street alot of noise from late night revellers considering it was midweek awoken 3in morning from outside noise.
Very friendly staff, great central location
We have stayed before on a Saturday night but the noise from outside was unbelievable, it didn't stop until around 4 o clock in the morning
Centre of the Town and you can walk anywhere, pint at a good price and the friendly staff and a great breakfast
Showers were not hot enough
Staff were lovely. Very central.
Could do with a decor update. Also disappointed no bar food available in evening.
Jackie on the front desk was absolutely brilliant! So friendly and welcoming and very insightful about the town. The breakfast included in our deal was great and the staff serving were lovely to deal with. The rooms were clean and modern and the hotel itself is in a great location.
The TV didn't work in the bedroom and the WiFi signal could only be reached in the front bar.
central location reception, bar, etc excellently decorated friendly staff tasty breakfast
run down decor in rooms TV didn't work (although there was a sign saying it was being fixed) very noisey at weekend due to nightclub Lamps in room didn't work & nothing was done to fix this when reported
