The Imperial Hotel is owned by the Sheehan family since April 2004. It is one of three hotels owned by us (The Devon Inn in Templeglantine, with over 50 years experience and Leens Hotel in Abbeyfeale). Our hotel is a small family run hotel that offers a very warm welcome, value for money and that special personal touch. Our central location is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful kingdom of Kerry.

Score from 28 reviews Very good
The room was quite spacious and the staff were extremely friendly on arrival/departure.
The temperature of the room was far too high when we arrived.
The loacian of where it is
ease of access to all amenities.
room too small for a double
Beds are terrible!
Very close to town centre, nice helpfully staff. Would recommend to stay here or the Grand Hotel next door due to the location.
Wifi did not work in room which was facing the back car park (did work in front rooms). Car park was full when we arrived and had to park on the street at an hourly cost. Breakfast was ok, however over cooked (however it was included in the price of the accommodation so no major complaints)
Bedroom very basic
Style, clean, good value for money
Single bed Pillows were like rocks. Bed was hard. Quilt was hard. Worse sleep ever. Actually i didnt sleep. upgrade needed. Letting down rest of hotel.because the rest of the hotel was fab. Lovely breakfast. Great location
Friendly staff, central location, comfortable clean rooms, big breakfast, excellent value.
Room was much too warm-heating could not be controlled on radiator
Jenny at front desk was helpful, professional and unassuming. . .most impressive!! Location very good. Breakfast was good with lovely healthy options. . . egg white scrambled egg with spinach and vine ripened tomatoes. Check out Baily's Corner pub around the corner. . .a real find. 90+ whiskies on display
There was no lift which although this was not an issue for me personally, it might well be for others. The building is of it's age which has a charming quality but could do with a facelift on the bedroom side.
The Imperial Hotel in an excellent town-centre location is a delight to stay in. Immaculate cleanlinesss, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bedrooms (equipped with wi-fi, television, tea and coffee-making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, en-suite bathroom) makes this one of the most desirable hotels in Tralee town. The breakfast - which offers a huge choice - is probably the best I have eaten anywhere. All in all, I recomment this hotel most highly.
There is nothing about the hotel that I disliked.
I loved the room me and my fiance stayed in. The room was lovely and we went in the dining room for breakfast really old fashioned which is what I like. I would suggest people should stay there I give a rating 10/10. Staff are very friendly.
Location is excellent and very convenient for shopping and socialising
Having to find parking and waiting for to be let in after night out.
The staff are lovely.
The wifi didn't work, the walls were like paper and the TV was small and in a bad place.
price and location were idea and facilities in the hotel were very good.
The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked with the slightest movement and the walls could be sound proofed better.
No result here
Loud noise from street , hard pillows , a bit dated
There was only a net curtain in the bathroom. there was in my opinion no privacy.if the light was switched on. you anyone on the outside could see what you were doing.
Great location, very helpful staff, very clean and very good price what more do you need
Location Room ok
Location, food, drink service.
Parking limited to about 8 spaces
room was comfortable bright and quite , hotel was central and accessible. Nice and friendly staff, good breakfast
parking area bit of a disaster and not help with the large dustbin which seem to be right in the middle of the way trying to get out in an extremely dark and narrow lane way ,no access to hotel from car park
