Location Noise of doors, noise of floors, loud music at night. Music from the foyer at 8am can still be heard in the first floor bedrooms. The sound insulation in the hotel is appalling.

The only thing that we found unsatisfactory was the fact that the room wasn't cleaned over the two days we were there even though we had asked the staff.

Cleanliness Location Might I suggest that the reception staff need both customer facing training and also upselling skills. Not that they were rude but perhaps 'brusque in their efficiency' - no potential upselling to better room on arrival or extras (spa etc) - perhaps restaurant booking or room service, and at checkout the head missed opportuniies of both ascertaining reasons for stay, souvenirs, onward destination, my views on hotel - in fact just the basics!

The hotel is perfect for a city break as it's right in the heart of the shops and bars and not too far from the airport, so getting around is easy. Our room was a good size, clean and very comfortable and we both loved having free wifi. We were very surprised by the lack of noise from within the hotel, the only noise we experienced was from outside if our window was opened, so we had a great few nights uninterrupted sleep - fantastic for a City Hotel. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and the food gorgeous. We were at the hotel for a friend's wedding and it was just a delightful experience. Would definitely recommend it to others visiting Cork. We were lead to believe that all the latest films were available in the rooms free, but this turned out not to be the case. It wouldn't put us off from using the hotel again, but I don't like to be misled into thinking we're getting a service that we aren'T.

Friendly staff always ready to assist when asked. The rooms were adequate and in keeping with the price. Overall good. There was a loud disturbance in the room next to mine. It was let continue for three hours during which I could not sleep.

I chose this location due to proximity to my Cork office. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was positive, friendly and accommodating. I would most certainly recommend and intend to stay again on my next trip.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Very central location Visually, a very nice hotel! Reasonabe rate. Room was far too hot at night, and there was no air conditioning. Quite a distance to car park.

Loved the location, staff were very helpful and a credit to the hotel which aided an enjoyable weekend. Found the rooms very warm and stuffy, could not open the window as the kitchen extraction unit was right outside our window, breakfast menu needs to be worked on, Price of room service menu including service charge expensive for what is it. All in all there is nothing that couldn't be fixed with a bit of tweeaking

It was clean and stylish and was in a perfect location, with the bus station for airport buses a road away and a couple of minutes walk to main shopping and restaurant area.
