location friendly stuff
room a bit small and shared balcony is not good idea at all
Beautifull setting, very good food, friendly staff
The hotel setting was really nice Good food & very friendly staff
No tea or coffee making facilities In bedroom
Unspoilt island. Very relaxing getaway. Hotel location is its best asset. Food excellent
Loved the sun terrace
Breakfast was fine I suppose.
This is a beautiful quite relaxing place to visit on GOOD WEATHER. Very little phone coverage so ideal for a break away. Bring your walking shoes. The islanders are very friendly happy people and the Hotel Staff were great.
The evening menu in the restaurant was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The marine spa was very nice and relaxing.
The breakfast was very disappointing, the continental selection was quite limited and unappealing. The cooked breakfast was served lukewarm every morning.
Hotel bedroom was very big and had stunning views. We hired 2 bikes and got to see the whole island. Stunning views. We were very lucky with weather and would have stayed longer on the Island except that we were at the end of our holiday and we had booked the Galway train to Dublin.
I liked everything but I thought the hotel was a little short staffed for ordering food but I know they were preparing for a wedding on the island on the friday ( lucky couple having a wedding on Inisboffin ) .
Views from hotel
Breakfast was terrible Evening meal very average I would stay there again but I wouldn't eat there
Loved the Hotel and of course the Island so much, needed to get away and recharge the batteries and it was just heaven. Even no phone coverage at the hotel was a bonus for me. It was so beautiful and peaceful and everyone was so nice, made lots of friends while there.
I had spa treatment done, back neck and shoulder and it was excellent, however the relaxation room wasn't so relaxing as the doors bang every-time they closed and the lady given the treatment spoke loudly when she came in for her next client and also could hear her walk up and down the hall, her shoes weren't very soft. But over all it was excellent place and highly recommend it and would certainly go back.
Room very large and comfortable. Massive shower. Excellent.
The Island is a beautiful place to visit
Comfort of rooms, which were spotlessly clean and spacious. Nice furnishings throughout hotel. Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Tasty food in bar and good choice of dishes for breakfast.
Nothing to dislike, except leaving!
staff location service from bar staff and reception
the food need to change the chef
The views are stunning
Breakfast disappointing. Buffet food not good and Staff really slow and one could not understand anything we said
good location communal sitting areas comfortable
no extra pillows or blankets in room, no kettle or cups in the room waiting staff at breakfast gave no information as to what was available home made bread would have been a nice treat, instead of sliced pan. delay in confirming booking of four months ,when I rang three days prior to departure, surely bookings are computerized and do not require two phone calls to confirm same.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would have added greatly, especially for early morning people.
the location of this hotel was beautiful. the staff very friendly.
my room was beside a vent that was very noisy. it was very warm during my stay and couldnot open window. also the staff smoking area was directly under my window and the smell of smoke was also coming into my window. my room door would not lock, this was reported and fixed initally and then when it happened again it was not fixed. My room door was left unlocked for an entire day and an alternative soloution was not offered. The day before my departure my room was not attended to and i had to ask reception late in the evening for clean towels. my room number was 112. the breakfast left alot to be desired food was greasy and there was not alot of choice and little in amount for guests.for these reasons I did not consider this hotel value for money €110 per night for myself and my young son we stayed 3 nights.
Just about everything !
No tea/ coffee facilities in the rooms :(
just perfect, loved it
Great views from room over harbour
Views saved the room as they are finished poorly especially the bathrooms. Over priced for what u get
The ferry ride and views leaving Cleggan and coming in the harbor with the castle were terrific. Two fiddlers played on the trip back. The location of the hotel was just beautiful and we enjoyed every minute there. We will definitely go back for a longer stay.
Poor standard of food. Awful muzak. Sterile atmosphere.
