Location of hotel & accessibility to ferry. Quiet, low key atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff.
Variety of food very limited and v average quality. Cooked breakfasts poor.
Location. Very comfortable hotel with very helpful staff.
food on one night disappointing . cold goats cheese and caramalised onion tart on little cold puff pastry. not nice
Location. Atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Goats cheese tartlet
Good location, close to the peer. Beautiful view from the room. Cosy & warm. We arrived late on the last ferry of the day (getting dark) and were collected..a nice touch.
Breakfast! Quality of the cooked breakfast was very poor, it was cold and the bacon and sausages looked like the were cooked in the microwave! No brown soda bread at all, toast was cold! One of the girls ordered the Pancakes, it looked like half a loaf of bread as it was huge and so thick!!
location is close to the pier. there is a balcony.
the door to the balcony cannot be closed ... wifi connection is very poor in the room. there is no tv.
Stayed for two nights, was so surprised how modern this hotel is considering it's on a small island. The island is breathtaking, would highly recommend a trip.
location friendly stuff
room a bit small and shared balcony is not good idea at all
Beautifull setting, very good food, friendly staff
The hotel setting was really nice Good food & very friendly staff
No tea or coffee making facilities In bedroom
Unspoilt island. Very relaxing getaway. Hotel location is its best asset. Food excellent
Loved the sun terrace
Breakfast was fine I suppose.
This is a beautiful quite relaxing place to visit on GOOD WEATHER. Very little phone coverage so ideal for a break away. Bring your walking shoes. The islanders are very friendly happy people and the Hotel Staff were great.
The evening menu in the restaurant was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The marine spa was very nice and relaxing.
The breakfast was very disappointing, the continental selection was quite limited and unappealing. The cooked breakfast was served lukewarm every morning.
Hotel bedroom was very big and had stunning views. We hired 2 bikes and got to see the whole island. Stunning views. We were very lucky with weather and would have stayed longer on the Island except that we were at the end of our holiday and we had booked the Galway train to Dublin.
I liked everything but I thought the hotel was a little short staffed for ordering food but I know they were preparing for a wedding on the island on the friday ( lucky couple having a wedding on Inisboffin ) .
Views from hotel
Breakfast was terrible Evening meal very average I would stay there again but I wouldn't eat there
Loved the Hotel and of course the Island so much, needed to get away and recharge the batteries and it was just heaven. Even no phone coverage at the hotel was a bonus for me. It was so beautiful and peaceful and everyone was so nice, made lots of friends while there.
I had spa treatment done, back neck and shoulder and it was excellent, however the relaxation room wasn't so relaxing as the doors bang every-time they closed and the lady given the treatment spoke loudly when she came in for her next client and also could hear her walk up and down the hall, her shoes weren't very soft. But over all it was excellent place and highly recommend it and would certainly go back.
Room very large and comfortable. Massive shower. Excellent.
The Island is a beautiful place to visit
Comfort of rooms, which were spotlessly clean and spacious. Nice furnishings throughout hotel. Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Tasty food in bar and good choice of dishes for breakfast.
Nothing to dislike, except leaving!
staff location service from bar staff and reception
the food need to change the chef
The views are stunning
Breakfast disappointing. Buffet food not good and Staff really slow and one could not understand anything we said
good location communal sitting areas comfortable
no extra pillows or blankets in room, no kettle or cups in the room waiting staff at breakfast gave no information as to what was available home made bread would have been a nice treat, instead of sliced pan. delay in confirming booking of four months ,when I rang three days prior to departure, surely bookings are computerized and do not require two phone calls to confirm same.
