Inishmore Guesthouse  

On arrival made very welcome by Anna with tea and cake - dog even got some dog food. Great location for Galway City and the promenade along to Salt Hill.

Great Location to access the district, friendly hosts (and dog Sparkie). Easy to acess everything. Tea and Coffee in the sitting room make sure to ask.

Everything was fabulous! The staff was wonderful and Marie, the owner, was amazingly helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious! We were within 10 minutes walking time to the city, shops and restaurants. The tour companies picked us up right outside the guesthouse. Everything we needed was available and it was very comfortable for a family of 4. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse and will stay there again.

Rooms furnished with a kitschy taste.

Very cozy room (#7), friendly staff, rich breakfasts. The location was close to ideal - in quiet residential area, but still within a walk distance to the city (10-15 min). If we ever come back, we would go again for this guesthouse.

All poeple are VERY friendly. The room is fine, the bath was complete new. It is very nice to sit at the open-heath firerplace and drink coffee

My family of four stayed with Marie at the Inishmore Guest House during our two-week tour of Ireland. She was a most gracious host, and the facilities were outstanding. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very filling, with several options to choose from. The place is very convenient to downtown Galway as well. My family enjoyed the company of Sparky and Blacky, the very friendly resident dog and cat. When we return to Galway, we will be staying here again!!

Everyone there were very helpful and welcoming. It was in a great position for getting to Galway and other surrounding countryside. Sparky the dog.

I can understand why coffee was not offered in the room, as it was so easy to pour badly and ruin the carpet. However, all other B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland did have it in the room but had suitable jugs that were easier to pour and did not create any spilling, so it can be done..

The guest house is very comfortable and rooms are nicely presented. Good breakfast and very good to be able to park the car withoout charge. Hostess was very helpful.

The disance into the town centre is a little far and it is a fair walk to restaurants. But the location is good for leaving Galway.

Marie Power and her staff were very welcoming and helpful. There wasn't anything we lacked for. A most friendly and warm greeting, a fire going in the evening and great recommendations on where to eat and arranging our Aran Island Tour. At the completion of our three week trip, my wife and I both said that staying at Inishmore Guesthouse was the best decision we made. The room we had was very comfortable and warm. I would not hestitate to ask for reservations when we come back to visit Ireland in the future. Marie was more than a host to us, she became our friend and one that I hope we can stay in contact with.

The was not one experience we had that was not "top shelf". We like everything there was about Inishmore Guesthouse.

The hotel was very clean and pretty - very welcome. 12 minutes walk to city centre and parking is no problem. The breakfast, irish and continental, was very good and abundant.

The price could have been a bit less

Everyone that we met were wonderful. From Marie to Anna! Friendly, caring, made us feel right at home which is tough to do when you bring adult children on the trip! From sharing her thoughts to sharing a glass of wine with us, Marie was there for us fduring our stay. As a party of 6, she made our stay wonderful in Galway.

The staff were all helpful and went the extra mile as we asked for help with directions to a small village we were trying to find. They looked on the internet for us to try and help. The breakfast was lovely and we were asked if we wanted any extra helpins E.G. toast, tea etc. We felt relaxed in the guesthouse and we were impressed with their efficiency.

We would have liked tea & coffe making facilities in the room and we only discovered later the complimentary tea and coffee was in the dining room and you could help yourself. This had not been pointed out to us.

Nice place, really close to the city center and with unique friendly atmosphere! Recommended to whom want to try the experience of a typical irish B&B.

Stayed here for my teenage girls to attend a concert -Excellent value for money -staff very friendly - central location -would recommend

it´s a bit to the city, about 15 walk, but only 5 min. to the beach.. an "supervalue" is 5 min away, a petrolstation on the others side of the street. so, the owner was ok, but the ukraine girl (her sister in law) was very helpful, sometimes a bit to much and she spoke german as well.. so, ok to stay there, but the other rooms (we did have nr.6 at the top) seemed to be better than ours. The breakfast does include a choice from the menu and the buffet (cereals,fruits,toast, bread ...) and is it absolutly worth doing it !!! also, always fresh fruits, tea and coffee the whole day available...

everything was perfect! realy nice place, friendly staff and the owner was very nice! the room quiet, clean, and beautifull.
