Great location, easy access from Shannon airport and in the grounds of the castle. Large rooms Helpful and friendly staff
I think a shuttle to and from the castle would be nice especially when they have large parties staying over for weddings held at the castle.
Hotel was visually pleasing, nice rooms and beautiful walk to Dromoland castle, lots to keep children and adults entertained. Would come back again
Room was too warm found it hard to sleep, breakfast was below average, staff in bar not very attentive
Friendly staff Close to domoland castle Swimming pool Liked the on site pub
Rooms not very sound proof! Could hear doors slamming and children running up and down corridors! No biscuits with tea making facilities in room!
Perfect, lovely room. Staff couldn't do enough to help. I will definitely return.
Lovely hotel, food, staff and room.
Shower didn't work properly
Breakfast was very good - a huge improvement on the last visit.
Didn't like it
easy access, clean, good bar and restaurant
Too many children running around unsupervised well into early morning.
where it was located and the rooms size
service was poor due to lack of organisation especially at breakfast. breakfast station was too small for the numbers and caused a bottle neck. Kids were overunning the bar area quite late into the evening.
The staff were very friendly and reasonably efficient.
We had booked in for bed, breakfast and evening meal and were told we would have to secure a booking for dinner which we did. When we arrived in the dining room there were about 5/6 tables occupied. it didn't increase from that. why did we have to book a specific time. The bedroom which was in the old part of the hotel was very dark and dingy. the double bed and was only 4'6" and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny and some of the equipment in the bathroom was in need of replacement or repair. There wasn't a working extractor fan in the bathroom. We decided to have a late breakfast and when we arrived down there was a queue for the dining room similar to what you would see in a holiday camp. The swimming pool also looked in need of some TLC as did the facilities .
The food and service was excellent
The pool area needs to be modernised a bit outdated
Bar was nice, staff were friendly, children facilities were very good
Price of drink was fairly steep Price of breakfast was expensive, ye should only pay for what you get, partner got 2 sausages and toast and still had to pay the full amount Floor numbering and signage for rooms was ridiculous
Reception staff were very helpfull. I really liked the restaurant in the Hotel the food was beautiful and the staff were exceptionally nice. Lovely views from the hotel.
There was no lift/ elevator and I had a heavy suitcase. I disliked the bathroom as the shower was in the bath and it was very old also there was a shower curtain and that is my own personnal dislike. I also disliked the hair dryer and it was very old fashioned. Other than that I really enjoyed our stay.
Food and decor.
Would like adult only time in the pool.
How warm it was. Meal wasn't cooked properly and bath was disgusting
Location. Access, food. Staff friendly and had a positive attitude. Fair price . Young Family oriented hotel.
Very dated hotel. Long queues for breakfast. Long delays for food. No room service. Rooms dated. Felt like a high class budget hotel. Small cosmetic changes both in furniture and operational practices can make this a top rated venue.
The Games room The Gym and pool facilities The staff couldn't have done more. The room was very comfortable.
The hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and very efficient. The food is first class and very reasonable. The girl that checked us in was so pleasant and was very knowledgeable about the town of Ennis.
staff very friendly and courteous new bar and bar food were excellent location atmosphere proximity to Dromoland Castle & Limerick
bedrooms ok not great. Bed very uncomfortable. Buffet breakfast next morning was ok.
The people over there were very very friendly, helpful. Place is beautiful.
The first room we got was looking on the roof and a noisy vent, so had to change it for a premium one for €20 more but that one was perfect.
the helpful and friendly staff
the long walk to the room
Spent 5 days here. Emma and olive at reception were amazing. Breakfast staff were happy. Outside space for kids was great.
I was disappointed with the babysitter booked through the hotel. Bar food menu.
Rooms newly refurbished. Good bathrooms with shower. Breakfast very reasonably priced.
WiFi strength could've been better and more consistent
