The International Hotel is in central Killarney and mixes historic charm with modern comforts. It offers free Wi-Fi, a traditional Irish pub, a gym and 3D golf simulator. The International Hotel has luxury rooms with private bathrooms with hairdryers, mist-free mirrors, satellite TV, tea/coffee and ironing stations. Air conditioned executive rooms have Egyptian cotton bed linens, memory foam mattresses’ and Jacuzzi bathtubs. They also feature American outlets, laptop safes and bedside LED lighting. There is a modern, air-conditioned gym and an infrared sauna. The 3D golf simulator, allows players to experience 40 world-famous golf courses. Hannigans Bar has real fires, good food, live music and sports events on the large TV. Hannigans Restaurant serves fresh, local produce, including seafood and Irish beef. Great hotel in the heart of Killarney, everything that Killarney has to offer is at your feet as you leave the hotel. Great food in the restaurant and entertainment afterwards. Overall this is an excellent hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location. We attended a wedding in another hotel which was double the price!! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. You couldn't go wrong. The keycard kept getting blocked so had to go to reception to fix it twice. No big deal though

It was central to everything. The Jaunting cars are across the road.The main street is around the corner.The cinema is also across the road. It is a pity that the hotel hasn't its' own car park. However, there are three car parks within three minutes walk where parking is free from 17.30 to 11.00 nightly. Outside of these times, anyone with a car would usually have gone sightseeing.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. We were greeted with a smile, our check in process was super easy and our rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We appreciated the close proximity of the hotel to the things we wanted to do while in town. The hotel staff had great recommendations and were very helpful. The pub/bar area was decorated really well and we enjoyed hanging out there in the evening. Thank you for a wonderful experience Can't think of anything at this time. A great experience.

Location is excellent,staff were friendly and the hotel bar is really great No parking facilities was a big problem,even though I knew this beforehand having to pay for on street parking was a pain,being able to park in a secure area and forget about it is a great advantage

The central location is perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful I found the rooms are very old fashioned and need to be upgraded to compete with other hotels in the same price bracket.also the room shown on the website did not resemble in any way the room we stayed in.

It is a very nice hotel ideally situauted in the centre of the town. Only draw back is there is no parking facilities, which mean you have to park on the street, on one ocassion I ended up parking about a 6 minute walk away.

I liked that it was in the centre of the town and near the shops. What I didnt like about the hotel was although it has been recently renovated they could have put more of an effort into the rooms. The room we were in was compact, and the bathroom was tiny , the shower was not working properly.

My husband and I have been staying at the International Hotel since the 1980'S. We always enjoy our stay there, we are always impressed with the staff's attention to detail. It's a warm, friendly hotel with lots of atmosphere and will go back time and time again. The only issue we would have is that they have no car park.

Bed very comfortable. Very disappointed with our room,described as 'executive double'. The bathroom though clean was very small with the shower over the bath.Our "view" was across a 3 meter gap directly onto a blank wall.We were expecting something more luxurious and would have been outraged had we paid the full price of €189.Marginally better than a Travelodge type motel. Although probably not a fault of the hotel/staff, the fire alarm repeatedly went off - when we contacted reception they said a guest must be having a shower with the bathroom door open. On the whole, would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.
