Attracted by the price I'd have to say that it's location is its forté. The club attached would be perfect for the late nighters but not for families methinks! No lift to some floors which is ok except with baby in tow.

The only thing we liked about the hotel was its location. It was in a nice part of town and was within reasonable walking distance of the centre. I am afraid that is all we liked about the hotel. The main thing we did not like about the hotel was the fact that the ground floor is a very busy nightclub which is on until 4.30am. We were not told this until after we had paid for the room otherwise we would not have stayed. Earplugs were provided in the room but it was impossible to sleep as the noise from the club was so loud. We basically had 3 or so hours sleep once the nightclub finished so I would not recommend the hotel to anyone who is staying on business or has a particularly busy day the next day.

My room was surprisingly nice ...with a metal bath ...and a view of the Dublin Mountains. These were all a pleasant surprise. The linen was good and crispy and the bed was the best. Overall: shockingly good value. The reception staff were charming and asked me if I had slept ok -I hadnt heard a peep out of the famous nightclub ...but being on the 3rd floor perhaps that had helped. All lovely girls on reception.

For the price its value for money and the day receptionist is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and the room is good and clean. The problem is the disco, the music shakes the room until 4 am, the alarm went off twice in the room, I just didnt get any sleep and thats why i stayed there in the first place. So not a place for rest. The other problem i had was the night staff, I went to the reception in the evening for the tv remote and i was met by three big guys dressed in black who eyed me suspiciously and only grunted when i asked for the remote, they made me feel very uncomfortable. All in all Id have to say NO to the Jackson

The hotel room was clean I was woken up about 3 oclock in the morning due to crowds of people leaving the bar from the hotel. Although the website did say that it was a nightclub.

Location was excellent, staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and accommodation quite luxurious for the price we paid. The lift was constantly out of service and one of our party has limited motability so been on the top floor was a problem

It was very trendy and funky looking. Rooms were very comffortable and bathroom clean. The location is excellent - we chose to stay there because we were partying in local bars and the nightclub (which u get in free too). So it was ideal for us, cheap and central. Its also really easy to get to when u get off bus to airport, and has a lovely little park near by to stroll through and get rid of the hangover! We didn't have any noise, but then did return at 4am!. We chose a high floor to be far away from club just in case, and they do provide ear plugs in room if u need them. The window was tiny and didn't get much air in, so room was quite hot. When we showered in evening there wasn't much cold water, so the shower was quite scalding, but next day it was fine. The room tv was stuck on 1 channell. Despite 2 trips to reception - which was no help - we just left it as were going out partying anyway, but we had wanted to listen to some music beforehand. Breakfast finishes early on a sunday so we missed it.

the hotel is located above a night club. This makes for a lot of noise in the middle of the night, 1.45 am - 3.45 am, on a daily basis ( I stayed there on a tuesday-thursday evening). It is also used by night club dwellers who decide to stay in the hotel with the associated late noise.

Central location, near St Stephens Green and walking distance to the shops, pubs and restaurants near Grafton St. The price is a good value for central Dublin. The hotel was recently renovated and the reception area, pub and nightclub was new, as well as the room decor. The beds were horrible. They were soft, lumpy and sagged in the middle. We looked at other rooms and all the beds were the same. The hotel did some recent renovations and the rooms are modern and clean but they need to get new mattresses. All the the beds we saw sagged terribly in the middle. It was so bad that we only stayed one night and won't go back or recommend the property unless they get new mattresses! Although centrally located, the hotel is on the south side of St Stephen's Green and in a business area so at night it is pretty desolate and eerie. Lots of panhandlers and bums hanging about which made us feel uneasy. Also the hotel lacks amenities and the staff is not very knowledgeable. It's very basic property but for the price, we can't complain.

We spent the night in the Jackson court as part of a girly weekend, we where aware that there was a nightclub in the hotel, however we did not realise that this was the main feature of the hotel, we where very disappointed to discover that there was no lounge or bar available for us to have a drink and a chat! We feel that the hotels website could be clearer about its lack of facilities and the fact that the hotel is dominated by the nite club.

I booked one of the Superior rooms and it was lovely. Definitely worth the extra cost. I don't like hotel rooms where you end up sitting on the bed because there are no seats. We had 2 comfy chairs and a sofa that converted to another bed. I went for a gig at Crawdaddy and the hotel was right beside it. It is also really handy for the shopping and nightlife in the City centre. I knew the hotel was going to be noisy because of the nightclub so I asked for a quiet room. We were given the room on the 4th floor furthest from the club. This was great - only thing was there is no lift in that part and all those stairs are a killer after a day spent walking round Dublin.

The location of this hotel is excellent. City centre for €39 is a really good price. It is ontop of a night club, copper face jacks, so expect music intul 4 in the morning, any night of the week. I was going out anyway for a few drinks so this wasnt an issue. Also, admission into the nightclub is free if you are staying in the hotel. While the room was small, the bed was a double, so for that price, it was fine. It is on top of a night club so it is noisey. Its ontop of copper face jacks, so expect music until 4 in the morning or later any night of the week. I was going out for a few drinks that night anyway, so this wasnt an issue. Also admision into the nightclub is free if your staying in the hotel

Location. If you plan on ending up in Coppers, then its a great spot to stay - free into the nightclub and skip the queue. The building shakes until the music stops downstairs, which is around 5am. Unless you are in the nightclub til then, or in a drunken slumber, you will struggle to sleep. Lack of parking, which is a problem for most city centre hotels.
