the hotel is grand on the surface and looks to be good value for money. everyone was nice. it defeats the purpose though if you cannot sleep there. i don't there was an effort to look at us as clients and determine the impact of the noise on our stay - it was not even mentioned anywhere by anyone........... Absolute failure of either bookings.com or the hotel to inform us that there was a night club that was very likely to keep us awake was discraceful. We booked a family room and specified in our booking that we have to 3 year old boys as per the booking form. The noise level was excessive and this room should NOT be advertised as family friendly room. We had to endure drinken noise (loud thumping music, shouting, screaming from outside on the street and drunk people in the corridor outside our room). Eventually it stopped - at 4:22 AM. We booked this room to have a restful night before a specific event the following morning. On balance we would have been better off and more rsted had we stayed at home and travelled to Dublin early in the morning.

1. Reception, dining & domestic staff couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. 2. room and food were top class 3. free admission to nightclub. prices not too expensive. The door staff/ bouncers was a different story, they came across as quiet obnoxious, to the point of being ignorant even after being informed we were staying in the hotel. We were told afterwards that the same doorman is known to be on a power trip most nights by refusing people admission just because he don't like the look of them (however lets in underage girls !!! ). He also has a lot of influence on the other doormen. He's the ugly guy with the blad head

It's an amazing accommodation. Everything in the room was perfect, lovely furnitures and very clean as well. It's 15 minutes walking from the city centre, so it turns to have very good access to all the city's facilities. We absolutely would come back, it has a very good relation price/service.

Attracted by the price I'd have to say that it's location is its forté. The club attached would be perfect for the late nighters but not for families methinks! No lift to some floors which is ok except with baby in tow.

Value for money and location Poor staff, lift was not working when I arrived. Ordered a vodka and White in night club did not taste right so I complained and service was appalling, the bar man had no time for me, asked to speak with manager who pretty much laughed in my face the bar man had taken my drink off me and taken it outside to manager etc I wasn't happy with drink and told him this when he tried to give it back to me the bar man then walked off and left my drink on a random ledge which I feel is unacceptable, in this day and age I will not drink a drink that has been out of my sight. I just felt the customer service was appalling especially for a paying hotel guest. It really ruined my night

Location, and hotel bedroom was comfortable and bathroom clean. When I complained about the noise on arriving at 9-30 from Italy, after a tiring day and journey, the receptionist kindly changed my room. Would my ear drums still be intact if she had not?Bless her; she redeemed a bad situation which only got worse as the night went on and the band from hell continued to inflict their unique brand of torture on innocent paying guests. I couldn't sleep until 4-00 o'clock due to the awful noise generated by the disco and would not dignify it as music;it was pure hell enduring that brain-dead obnoxious drivel masquerading as music;it took me 15 minutes to find the socket for the electric kettle and, worst of all, the tv remote control was nowhere to be seen. Stolen?

The girl who checked us in was very polite, friendly & professional, Staff member I spoke to later not so good, gave false information. Great location Room was very small. Beds were different heights and very hard - need new beds. They do state about noise from nightclub which is fine, but not about noise of kegs being dragged along ground and constant noise of fans or machines running early in the morning. I understand work needs to be doen but maybe warn guest about this so they can request a new room or maybe leave earplugs for the guests - another local hotel suppplies earplugs in all rooms. I would suggest to people to stay for teh loaction but to request a room that may isn't as close to all the noise.

the hotel is located above a night club. This makes for a lot of noise in the middle of the night, 1.45 am - 3.45 am, on a daily basis ( I stayed there on a tuesday-thursday evening). It is also used by night club dwellers who decide to stay in the hotel with the associated late noise.

Central location, near St Stephens Green and walking distance to the shops, pubs and restaurants near Grafton St. The price is a good value for central Dublin. The hotel was recently renovated and the reception area, pub and nightclub was new, as well as the room decor. The beds were horrible. They were soft, lumpy and sagged in the middle. We looked at other rooms and all the beds were the same. The hotel did some recent renovations and the rooms are modern and clean but they need to get new mattresses. All the the beds we saw sagged terribly in the middle. It was so bad that we only stayed one night and won't go back or recommend the property unless they get new mattresses! Although centrally located, the hotel is on the south side of St Stephen's Green and in a business area so at night it is pretty desolate and eerie. Lots of panhandlers and bums hanging about which made us feel uneasy. Also the hotel lacks amenities and the staff is not very knowledgeable. It's very basic property but for the price, we can't complain.

Location - 5 mins from Stephen's Green & Grafton Street. Coppers nightclub, very convenient to be staying in the hotel for going to the nightclub. No cover charge and no need to queue if we went elsewhere first. Having to pay a deposit for TV remote - should have been advised this on arrival. Very few channels on tv. Poor lighting in the rooms. If not attending the nightclub I would imagine it would be very loud at night.

Location, Nightclub, Friendly staff, Value for money unlike other hotels in the area. Parking was an issue. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged to give me a spot in the staff area, but otherwise I would have been stuck, having to park in a local multi storey car park.

We spent the night in the Jackson court as part of a girly weekend, we where aware that there was a nightclub in the hotel, however we did not realise that this was the main feature of the hotel, we where very disappointed to discover that there was no lounge or bar available for us to have a drink and a chat! We feel that the hotels website could be clearer about its lack of facilities and the fact that the hotel is dominated by the nite club.
