The Russell Court Hotel is just off St. Stephen's Green in central Dublin. The Georgian-style hotel has great nightlife and individually designed rooms with antique furnishings and antiques.

Above a nightclub is an understatement! It is a nightclub and very unsafe for females? Window boarded up and stunk of Jeyes Fluid to mask alcohol smell
Very nice room
Loud music from nite club till 5am
There is no bar facilities During the day and the music kept me awake all night
Extremely noisey, no where to plug in kettle, Luke warm water only in shower.
The location was great and the night club was fantastic, loved how long it stayed open compared to clubs back home and how our room was just upstairs so it was easy home at the end of the night! However I can understand how more mature guests staying in the hotel may be put off by this as it is quite noisy, yet it was never any trouble for us to sleep through. Good stay.
Only criticism would have been the size of our room. It was a box room with a double bed squeezed into it, taking up the majority of the room and there was only one beside cabinet which wasn't ideal. The ensuite size was a good size but the room itself was tiny and squashed. Slightly regret not addressing this issue at the time as even with the windows open at all times we still over heated and struggled with space!
Good service from staff
Terrible noise from the night club until 4 am. No sleep.
Location. Staff. Breakfast.
Noise. Lack of anything in bedroom, only ear plugs!
Close to all the action. Surprisingly good standard of room. Perfect.
I must admit this place didnt impress me on arrival. But when i saw the room i thought it was great. It was clean and tidy. Had all the normal stuff a hotel has but one added big extra, A club underneath. I went to oktoberfest which is a beer festival in dublin and came back to a booming club. I went upstairs first after getting back and there were two layered windows and when i closed the inside one and you couldn't hear anything on the second floor. Cant vouch for the one right above the club however. I then went to the club and had a great night. Met some great people, some beautiful women and just really enjoyed myself to the max. Im from wales living in the west of ireland and im 31. If this is the sort of thing you like you will love it.
I was too drunk to get laid and the chick i brought with me which we were on our first and last date wasnt putting out or liking the club so i ditched her and had a few smooches with some right fitties. Nice one copper face jacks i had a ball.
No one who wants a nite sleep should stay here the noise from the nite club was like nothing I ever heard before it was that loud got about 2 hours sleep worst hotel I ever stayed in will never go back
Very good Location
Rooms were Tiny, 11am checkout time when the club below is only closes after 4am is a bit early
The size of the room, it was so small, we were wondering how they got the bed into the room. The girl on reception was not a happy camper, she looked and acted as if the boss rang her on her day off and asked her to work. I rang down to reception to ask where the hair dryer was and they said they keep them in reception and that I'd have to come down to get one because there is no room service. We paid €121 to stay at the hotel and we were so disappointed. The room was just not up to standard. We really felt that we were ripped off, the location is perfect, but thats it!
We knew when booking that there was a nightclub on the first floor that is open almost all night, so we were aware of the noise. The hotel supplies ear plugs to their guests, trying very hard to accommodate everyone. Unfortunately for us there was a big football game being played on our first nights stay, which made the noise level extremely loud. But the next night the revelers had gone home and the level of noise wasn't an issue at all. The staff was excellent, everyone was so nice and helpful. They helped us with locations of sights we were interested in seeing, and explained where to get the Hop On Hop Off bus. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also excellent. The location was great, right by St Stephens Green, which made this location an excellent value.
Other then the noise level on the first night, which we were totally made aware of, there wasn't a thing we didn't like about this hotel. We would stay here again.
Nice hotel I really enjoyed the stay. Very comfortable bed
No hot water and drunk naked man knock on door at 5am
Cleanliness and location
Size of room, shower was more like a dribble, no ironing board
The hotel turns into one of the areas popular night clubs and is VERY noisy. No dinner is served there as the staff are busy turning it into a club for the night and by 10:30 the noise is vibrating!
leaving the next morning
the very loud--- thump-thump--- music, sounded like the whole place was on drugs, heavy garda presence outside from early on. the music was in the basement and could be clearly heard on the 3rd floor, with windows closed. its not very considerate of management to rent rooms out with so much noise. i won't be booking there again,
Small room but functional. Centrally located. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly.
The noise from the night-club made it very hard to sleep, which is a pity because otherwise it would be a great choice of hotel.
This is the second time I've stayed here in the past few weeks and for the purpose of my stay it was great. Receptionist is brilliant and sorry I didn't get her name so helpful. Would stay again for location and rooms were really comfy.
Extremely rude bouncer after going for something to eat and returning to the hotel I asked "how do I get back in" as I wasn't sure, the response I got back was nothing short of ignorance and stupidity. There is no need for rudeness.
No Air Con Music going for all hours Lift broke on arrival No General bar to relax in
The friendly staff tried their best for me.
No sleep. The main dining room turns into a night club after 11 until 3:30. In some rooms that means you will not be able to sleep.
It was a great location, close to everything and lots to do! It would probably be a good place to stay if you were staying up to party and could tolerate the heat!
The room was so hot! We had no choice but to leave the window open and slept with cold clothes on our heads. We were aware of the clubs in the area and given ear plugs but unfortunately because we had to leave the window open the noise (even with ear plugs) was hard to sleep through. There was also beer in our kettle but the lady at the front desk gave us a new one.
Basically impossible to sleep, it's a big 3 storey niteclub, bedrooms vibrate with noise
The two reception staff and night porter were outstanding and accommodating. I stopped to leave my luggage until the room would be ready three hours later, but the receptionist got me in only ten minutes later. It was fabulous because after a red eye flight with no sleep, I was able to crash for two hours, and reset my biological clock. They were very efficient. The restaurant is a good value too.
Upon check in, I had to sign the guest agreement, which mentioned a nightclub. Noise wouldn't bother me too much because I was exhausted and would sleep through it. Even on a Thursday night; however, the club noise grew louder and louder until about 3:30 a.m. Fair enough, I had been warned. What I found TOTALLY unacceptable was a cleaning crew in the corridor outside my room. It sounded like a group of twelve-year olds goofing off, talking loudly, etc. You work in a hotel, and you behave this way, and at 4:00 a.m.? How dumb can these people be? Then after they were finished, the final amusement was an amorous couple in the adjacent room. Couldn't wait to leave. AWFUL experience, except for reception (who were of Eastern European descent it seemed.) All the native Irish staff gave me dirty looks and clammed up in my presence even though I never complained.
