Room was small but lovely. TV had a lot of stations on it. Free nightclub to the guests.
Having to leave the next morning :(
Be handier if there was a code or automatic opening of the gate of the car park
The main plus with this hotel is the free entry into copperface jacks (the night club downstairs) yes it's loud but there are plenty of warnings before you stay and during check in, each room comes with complimentary ear plugs if needed. The security is good as well between the hotel and the club and the staff are friendly
The bed is not particularly confortable but if you are just using it to rest your head after a night out it is fine
noise from coppers wasn't that bad,
Location and free parking
Not a thing
The noise of the nightclub was a little annoying but expected prior to booking
The place is so loud you won't sleep
Room was very modern & comfortable
The lift to the nightclub. Very friendly receptionist, bar staff and security
I found the reception staff very helpful and polite .a verygood manner when communicating with guests .
The rooms are too hot!
Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly, polite & helpful. First night, we had a blocked shower. Mentioned this to front of house, who on our asking for a different room couldn't have been more helpful. Ended up in a much bigger & better room than before (not that there was much wrong with the first room). Location is within "staggering distance" from the Temple Bar area, which was great.
The only thing I would put down as a negative, is the noise from Copperface Jacks nightclub within the hotel. First night, I was woken by the music. Wasn't so bad on the second night, as I was almost comatose, having consumed a large amount of Kilkenny beer & Jameson whisky - haha !
Night club in the house and the big spacious room! Would have liked to try the breakfast, but overslept!
We choose the location for car parking and were send to a public car park, at extra cost about 1 km away, very inconvenient!
Going out in bar and club ok
noisy until morning
good tv, shower.
When we went to our room it was very small so we went to reception and she said ok I'll turn on the heating. Half an hour later the heating was not on and the room was very cold.Reception moved us to another room.Again room was cold.No hair dryer no iron.Very unhappy with the hotel.Wouldnt stay again.
Nightclub in the basement - could not rest....
We were very impressed with the room. We were even more impressed with the staff we encountered, they could not have been friendlier or more helpful if they tried. Yes the hotel is above a club but it really never bothered us at all and we had a fantastic nights sleep all three nights that we stayed. Altogether a wonderful stay, would certainly stay again!
Very very noisy, because of the night club, every night, it did not matter if it was the weekend or weekday. We had earplugs next to the bed as a hotel gift, what nonsense!!! Just after we made the booking it said "important notice - noise", but it was too late by then to cancel without a fee!!! No breakfast included although we set that filter when booking, and it said that breakfast was included, but in the confirmation, there was nothing about it. I have never been in such a horrible hotel noisewise, do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to sleep during the night! I wonder if the positive reviews for this hotel are fake. The price was high considering the room was tiny, the bed was too short, the lighting was dim and there was no minibar, iron or safe.
Excellent value and location for young travellers.
Quite a noisy location
Noise pollution, room above night club (didn't realise on booking). Too loud for sleeping. About 3am some drunken guests tried to get into my room.
Great location, comfortable, clean
Location and price
Room was very hot.
+ spacious room + comfortable bed + close to the city center
- cold bathroom - the hotel is above a loud night club
Imsanely loud until around 6am, was promised complimentary in room wifi but there was no wifi network and the "king sized bed" was definitely not king sized. requested for them to make our couch bed and they sent up a guy working in the bar who had no idea what he was doing. Please Don't stay here.
Good hotel if you plan to go to coppers, girl on check in was very friendly and helpful, good location
Night staff very rude and unprofessional. the heat in the room was awful. no residents bar midweek.
