We ate in the bistro on the Saturday night. I am a coeliac and I ordered chicken wings. I told the head waitor-who happened to be serving our table, that I was coeliac and enquired wether there was flour in the curry that I had hoped to have for mains. He told me there was and I didnt order it. When my starters came it was clear that the chicken wings had benn coated in flour and I couldnt eat them. I think it was bad order for the chief waitor not to have told me this when I made him aware to the fact that I was a coeliac. |

I was staying in the old part of the hotel, which was ok. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and the service good. I thought that the breakfast could have been better. It was a basic breakfast. There could have been a better choice at breakfast not everyone wants a fried breakfast there should have been healthy options |

The room was definitely NOT value for money. Stayed in the new part of the hotel. Room feels like it hasn't been finished, very cold bare feeling and definitely not luxurious. I travel quite a bit and have stayed at quite a few hotels and I feel this room was comparable to a cheap Premier Inn or Travelodge. I shall NOT be returning as I was not impressed! Yes the room |

I really liked the new part of the hotel where I attended a wedding but the old part - where our room was - was drab and dull. |

The new part of this hotel is very modern and maintained to a very high standard. The old part of this hotel should be completely refurbished or knocked down. When checking in please request a room in the new part of the hotel. |

the wedding reception room was nice. the bar stayed open late so we could continue the celebrations after the official wedding. both myself and my parents had to change rooms due to diffrerent smells in both rooms. the rooms we had were in the old section of the hotel and they had a smell of sewerage whilst the windows were closed and once the windows were open all you could smell was chip fat - we must have had rooms directly above the kitchen extractor fans. |

The reception was too far away from the new rooms, a satellite reception would be much better. |

The staff were excellent and very efficient Our bathromm smelt of sewage and the room was fusty, we were at a wedding therefore did not spend much time in the room and did not complain because of this. |

It was a very relaxed stay and you were afforded the space to do just exactly what you wanted to do. The staff were on hand if you required anything at all. I did not like the fact that the book in time was at 16.00 Hours. When I arrived at 16.30 Hours the room was not ready and I did not get into the room until 17.00 Hours. I believe that book in time is too late. |
