Wij kregen bij aankomst al een kamer met een zitje op een hoger gedeelte. Helaas was er na een regenbui een lekje boven één van de nachtkastjes en wij kregen binnen 5 minuten een kamer die nog ruimer was. Een al ruim slaapdeel en een zithoek in een hoek met uitzicht naar drie zijden. Mooi zicht op/over de langsstromende rivier. Uitstekende keuken in zowel restaurant als bistrot. In het zwembad moesten badmutsen gedragen worden, maar als mensen uit de sauna komen en zonder douchen in het bubble bad gaan, wordt er niets gezegd. Bah!!! |

The leisure centre was excellent. There was a good -sized swimming pool with extremely helpful staff. The bedroom had no heating on the Saturday evening. I turned the radiator to maximum at 6:00pm and went out. On my return, at 11:00pm, the room was still cold with no heat in the radiator. As it was late I went to bed and when I awoke at 7:00am the radiator was warm although the room was still chilly. The shower tap fell off when I tried to turn the shower on. It is a heavy tap and could have caused considerable damage had it fallen on my foot - obviously a long-standing problem as there were quite a number of small chips in the shower tray underneath the tap. On arrival I was ignored at the reception desk and when allocated a room was asked for payment in advance. At 7:45am the corridor outside my room was in darkness with no light switch. |

old part of the hotel is terrible as for the new part it is lovely The room we stayed in was dirty, grubby, out of date. No runing hot water in the taps. The heating was on all day and night so left the room too hot |

I enjoyed the quiet athmosphere and relaxation of the hotel, The food was wonderful and good value for money. However we did wait an hour and a half for our food on Thursday night in the Bistro. My sister did use the Spa and found the staff very friendly and nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would return. There were a lot of stairs for people with disability. |

Friendly atmosphere with good leisure facilities. Very creaky floorboards that made sleeping difficult with guest above and outside on the corridors. |

Location and setting. Breakfast Excellent Grill on Tuesday evening. Poor service and severe delay in serving of food. Other guests who arrived 20mins after us got both starters and main before we got our food. No rolls offered to us but the others had rolls offered. Extreemly expensive for such poor service. When we asked for rolls we were told there would be a 10 min delay. Chips inedible and when we commented our comments was ignored |

The staff were very welcoming and freindly. Breakfast was fair but not great. I booked a massage and found the treatment area very poor and shabby. |

Easy access to the spa & pool, good standing, pretty comfortable place overall. The staff is nice and helpful. not to mention the Restaurant which is a very good standard and affordable. |

Hotel was central and room spacious and well equipped. Lovely view from our room. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Room decor was bit dated, but that is only a minor thing - overall very good. |

The room was comfortable and roomy. One of the waiters in the restaurant - his uniform was quite dirty and whilst the dog was cute that was wandering around I don't think it would comply with health and safety regulations. |
