The staff were very helpful and friendly, the facilities were very very good. The lockers had very very small locks that were very easy to pick, I did it with just a hair pin. Unfortunately you could not use your own lock. Maybe they could invest in some better locks. The other guests were quite noisy in the rooms after 10pm but apart from more signs..i dunno how to solve that better.

Much more than expected. Though minimilist, the ensuite room for four was large, clean and comfortable. Cozy quilts, warm heater, flat screen tv, large bathroom with hot water. Breakfast was humble, but there was lots of it... Cereal and toast, butter, jelly, juices, coffee, tea. Filtered water was provided to refill drinking bottles. The staff was fun and very helpful. Great value for the money!

Easy access from main bus station or Connolly train station, luggage storage, price, safety, rooftop terrace, rather new furniture Too cold in the room. Also, could be cleaner.

It was easy to know other countries people at beakfast, there are a lot of school groups, but most of all you can reach easily every area of the city. Room furniture is too much essential and bed structure should be more comfortable. Anyway a good place to stay in. Upper beds are not comfortable, sheets should be provided once for all the period (even with extra fee).

It was really surprising how clean and comfortable the room was. It had everything that we needed. The breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly. We were only there for 2 nights to quickly see the city however if we had been backpacking we would have thought this was a fabulous introduction to Ireland and a great place to meet people and have fun.

Good location, close to shops and not far from Temple Bar. Turning the tap on, we had water only for few minutes at a time. Poor breakfast.

Perfect hostel. Proper rooms. Nice and clean facilities. Kind staf. It's a 10 minute walk to the center of Dublin, so perfect location for us. If you don't want to walk you can take the tram which stops in front of the hostel or a taxi (€ 12). There is a pub next to the hostel and a very good Thai restaurant in front of it. In the room price is a free walking tour included. This is a very well organised tour with good guides. In 4 hours they show you the most important sightseeings in Dublin. If I go back to Dublin I would definitely book this hostel again! Breakfast is very simple, although what can you expect for a price like this?

I loved how clean it was for the value especially since its a hostel. It is the nicest hostel I have ever seen. The only thing we were lacking was an air conditioner but luckily it was cool outside so leaving the windows open at night was helpful.

Great location both for visiting the city center and for the stop of the bus for the airport. I expected it to be louder, but it proved even quieter than most hotels I was in.

The best things about Jacobs Inn Hostel are its personnel and international atmosphere. During the nights it was too loud: I could hear people talk in the other rooms and in the street.

I liked the staff and the fact that they had the ability to book activities and excursions for you. Continental breakfast was unimaginative.

the room was quite confortable and clean, as well the bathroom, very close to the bus station and to Connolly so I would advice it if you need to use the bus or the train.. not so close to temple bar and the area with the nightplaces, it was difficult to sleep until late because the curtains couldn't avoid that the light filter through in the room also in the early morning...

The staff was very helpful and I felt very comfortable and so welcomed. The condition of the bathroom (6 bed dorm room) was subpar and the tile of the floor was falling apart; it was a safety hazard.

I really liked that members of jacobs wereinvited to other hostels for bbq's and other events. It was also nice being able to just sit back in the lounge and watch a movie with fellow backpackers. The front desk staff was also very nice and axcomidating....definitely recommend it to anyone. Not enough electrical outlets in rooms, pillows are very thin

The possibility to lock your luggage, the kitchen where we could cook our own dinner, the lounge for relaxing, the breakfast was fine, the beds were comfortable and sheets were clean, the location was fine (everything walking distance), a lot of safety doors (so its very safe place) some stoves didnt work well in the kitchen, we cooked pasta for 2 hours.
