Incredibly friendly staff and cheerful atmosphere, very well-equipped self-catering kitchen, decent breakfast, fast wifi in common spaces, awesome free walking tour of inner Dublin leaving every day at 10 am. Also, great location.
10-bed dorm was incredibly cold, not every outlet was working and we had some problems with the lights as well. Generally uncomfortable, I'd recommend opting for a 4-bed dorm because that seems much more decent and the hostel is otherwise awesome.
The toilet, bath and bed linens were very clean and my dorm room was quiet.
Two points: 1) I was in the lower berth of the bunk. Even as a short person I could not sit up. 2) The room was a little bit smelly due to beers and dirty socks.
Breakfast Hot shower Cleanliness
no wifi in the rooms a little bit cold in the room
Dublin is really small city, so location of hostel was perfect. Close to main O´Connell Street. And very comfortable bed, any sound. I slept really well
They havent bikes for rent. Bike is absolutelly the best thing in Dublin if you want to save little bit of time in your short trip. Other hostel has some for 12,50€
atmosphere is positive, great for socializing, hostel looks great
cant stay longer than two weeks
Staff - great room - clean;spacious
No wi fi in the room
Arriving from the ferry at 1am and my bank cards stopped working and the online banking system crashed too. Bad timing. But the guy at reception helped me out so much by giving me a bed anyway after counting all my loose change and adding a few euros in himself! I owe him for not making me sleep on the streets! Nicest man.
the bedroom and the washroom were clean and comfortable. nice free breakfast.. value for the money. I was satisfied. thanks. see you...
Because I was a resident of the city and not a backpacker I was treated rude and unfairly by the staff
good place Near to city center We took the bus from the airport to O'connel street and walked 5/10 min to get to the hostel. It's easy to find and the staff is nice.
clean good public area
The staff were very accommodating and friendly, there was a continantal breakfast, free wifi was good and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Its also really close to the coach station. Would highly recommend the free walking tour and the pub crawl. Would stay there again.
Even though its on a side street, the hotel is great! Don't be fooled by the "dodgy" street.
location, people, activities
Great location, Cheap and comfortable environment
Great staff, Clean Close to attractions
No wifi in rooms
Location Price Staff
Poor WiFi Noise in the rooms Uncomfortable beds and seating areas Lack of quiet places to sit
Is a nice hostel, cheap and close to city center, and also is very clean.
free wifi in the room power outlet right next to each bed breakfast
location was very convenient to dropoff from airport and then city attractions Christmas and St. Stephens Day breakfasts outstanding, thank you roomy dining area
beds were spartan with thin mattresses pillows as well music a bit loud at times and made it hard to talk via phone in common area where wifi was best rates go up too much for weekends
Some of the staffs are super helpful and friendly. The location is one of the bests. Free movie and popcorn every night is great. A kitchen with cooking utensils and cutlery is provided. Decent free breakfast is served daily
The wifi can be very slow during peak hours. Also, the facilities are worn out, cushions torn and access keys often do not work and have to be reset at the counter way too often. If you take the 10 beds room, there is only 1 shower room with toilet attached for the ten of us. No hairdryer is provided. Not much power supply is provided and wire extension is not provided but has to be bought from a vending machine. The bunk bed is very low - one cant sit on the bottom bunk.
No wifi inside the bedrooms.
