Lots of other travellers, many thing to do and see close to hostel
Not the cleanest hostel, also people were snoring so I couldn't sleep
Comfortable room, free breakfast, very secure, and very friendly staff
Nothing because this place was awesome
-free breakfast -very close to the bus terminal -well-equipped kitchen
-mostly young people who wants to party. too loud even late at night -taking a shower is a challenge, you have to keep pressing the knob and hardly any hot water
- Ask whatever you want at the reception, they will be friendly and try to help you - You get a paper with your roomnumber written on it - in other hostels you just get a card and have to remember it - breakfast was good - in the city center - nice luggage-room
- cold water in the shower - no reading lamp on the beds
1. Clean and comfortable and convenient.(card key) 2. Good atmosphere. 3. Spacious room and Simple building structure.( you do not have to lost the way in building.) 4. Very good location.
Location is close to many attractions, including temple bar. The hostel is very clean and tidy. It has a wonderful free walking tour that collects you at hostel. Easy to meet other travelers staying at hostel due to common areas.
Only one washroom in the do
One of the best hostels I've ever been to. The have a huge kitchen for the guests, the commom areas are great, the terrace has a fantastic vies of the city, the bed was confortable and clean.
There could be more bathrooms, it can be a little hard to use the toilet or take a shower in a room with 1 bathroom for 12 people. There are no sockets in the bedroom, having to go to the commom area to charge the phone is not cool
-the staff are friendly and helpful -spacious and well-equipped kitchen
-taking a shower is a challenge, had to keep pressing the knob to keep the water flowing and the pressure of warm water is very weak! -you hear through your window the loud crowd on the street
There was a public toilet and shower. It is convenient to take a shower when your roommates are all sleeping.
The kitchen was no big enough for the users there.
Friendly staff, Location, Comfort, Cleanliness, Safety at Jacobs Inn, Breakfast, Walking Tours and much more. Simple but adequate
The hostel is well situated near the bus station and one of the train stations, and you're a five to ten minute walk from the maun tourist area, with lots of cheap and not-so-cheap bars and restaurants around. The staff is engaging and helpful, readily providing advice at the reception (open 24/7). The dorm rooms are spacious and have a bathroom. The kitchen has free tea and coffee all day long and breakfast is free too.
The wifi, which only works in the reception and catering area, is difficult to log on to and requires you togo through a three step procedure involving a badly set-up web page and liking the establishment on Facebook. This has to be repeated every time you wish to use the internet, and it's particularly irritating if you're using a smartphone. The magnetic cards can have issues, and the laundry is a bit on the pricy side: 3€ for a wash, 3€ for a dry and 50 cents for two washing tablets.
Pricey for the size. Minimal breakfast
The location was very easy to find and very close to Dublin city center. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hostel provides walking tours and pub crawls which were excellent and a great way to meet people. Great for a few night stay, but in the large dorms its busy so difficult to get a good nights sleep.
I stayed in an 8-beds room for one night. The hostel was very safe as you used your room-card even for taking the lift.
The common area in reception and the restaurant where breakfast was served were not in good condition. In addition, the staff especially during the afternoon and night was not exactly what you call "polite" and helpful"
No internet in the room
Wi-Fi apenas nas áreas comuns Hostel with a great localization near to the center city. In the hostel has laundry facilities, kitchen and living room with tv. Reasonable breakfast, bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk and coffee. Near to the Luas, and the stoped for Airlink to the airport it's very close. Has several pubs and supermarkets nearby. Besides being a 10 minutes by walk from Temple Bar (area beloved by tourists for having numerous pubs and clubs). Wi-fi only in public areas.
A cama possuia uma beliche com uma cama de casal embaixo, e achei um pouco pequena. E uma das fronhas dos travesseiros não estavam limpas. Um pouco barulhento nos andares onde possui quartos com banheiro no corredor. The double bed I found it a bit small. And one of Pillowcases were not clean. A little noisy on the floors which has been larges rooms without WC.
- possible to leave early - far from noisy Temple Bar - good place to arrive and leave Dublin
- dirtyness of the bathroom - staff not really friendly
My key card.... I had to change 5 times in 3days...
1) Value; 2) location to local facilities and stores; 3) friendly knowledgeable staff; 4) Great breakfast included; and 5) Willingness to accommodate (e.g. opened breakfast early for us since we had an early departure)
Personnel was very kind and helpful Surprisingly clean, even the shared bathrooms
Extremely nice and helpful staff, good concept, central location, spacious room, nice facilities for general use, well-thought
Nearly all stoves in the kitchen didn't work
Perfect location, cheerful staff, cleanness, good price.
Very poor choice of breakfast - just cereals and toasts with jam.
Clean room. Kitchen clean.
Lockers too small when trying to store luggage before room was ready
Although the location was a bit hard to find, but the hotel is excellent
Helpful staff, very good location
The fixtures were of poor quality e.g taps loose, blocked plugs, lights flickering
