Room was clean also ensuite. Bed very comfortable. Price of room very reasonable
Handy to CBD and main bus station.
Noise from road workers all night with a diesel compressor and jack hammer. Improved room sound insulation may have assisted.
Staff were very good Location
Stay here every summer & Xmas, perfect location, lovely rooms, friendly staff & delicious food!!!
Just so relaxing, Quiet and convenient to town.
Had to return to reception to get door keys reprogrammed as they would not open door when we first arrived at room.
comfort, warmth and friendly staff
the car parking is on a first come first serve basis as the space only fits about 15/20 cars, so had to park over in Patricks quay car park (the hotel have a deal going with this car park), another €10 per 24 hours on top of hotel bill. Also you have to pay €10 for breakfast before you eat anything, but if you only want a bowl of cereal, well nuff said :)
Would stay in this hotel again food was brilliant staff are friendly and helpful and near all the main places
Nothing because you cant fault this hotel
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice bath. Friendly staff.
Would have been nice to have more toiletries available such as body lotion.
lack of parking on site
The room was clean and modern, staff were friendly and a good central location.
tv didnt work properly
Location, VFM & the staff were excellent (efficient & also very helpful).
Noise levels from traffic & also from other guests returning in the "wee small hours" of the morning(very noisily). Perhaps better sound insulation on rooms would be helpful(particularly those by the lifts).
Friendly staff, comfortable room and decent location.
Not enough parking. Free WiFi was dial-up speed; you had to pay for normal broadband speed.
It was easy to find the hotel from the Limerick road.
We had a lot of difficulty parking. We were arriving Friday evening for a function at 6pm but we spent about an hour parking the car. The small hotel car park was full so we went into a nearyby public carpark. We then realised this was not the car park with whom the hotel have agreed an overnight rate. We were told on the phone the day before we could park on the road opposite the hotel so we moved the car there. However when we were ordering our taxi we were told not to leave our car there. We moved the car for a second time across the river to a public car park. It was a bad start to our evening and made us late for our function.
everything was spot on (almost) price was very manageable, bed was comfortable, amenities in room were great. Bath/shower was very nice.plenty of TV channels, and convenient location. Even hotel restaurant was first class. Very polite management. Definitely would stay again.
the wifi was only thing that was bad. Basic wifi was free and if you wanted better wifi service, you had to pay which I didn't like.
Rapid check-in and -out, facilities, staff, food, value.
1. Parking arrangement is a bit remote. Why not use the Lapp's Quay car park beside it? 2. Cork's one-way traffic is such that directions on how/where to drop someone off would be useful
everything lovely room staff very good breakfast excellent
It was good value for money and great location.
Car park very small. Very few car spaces.
Staff were very friendly & polite. There was someone on reception 24 hours a day which is always good to know. Beds really comfortable.
Our room was on the ground floor & was a little cold even though the heating came on regularly. The approaching street from the bus station to the hotel is badly lit & not the nicest area at night.
Hotel was in a brilliant location for our stay as we went on a Christmas shopping trip all the shops are just around the corner
Parking was terrible no spaces whatsoever in the hotel car park had to pay €18 to park for the night in a car park up the road which was ridiculous
Comfort and price
Lack of parking
the staff are first class
let me think?????????????????????
Perfect location, car parking near by. Room was nice and spacious with easy check in/out.
A short walk to the centre of Cork
Bed was great. Booking.com's prices were great. Wifi worked in the bedrooms. Breakfast was great - and liked that there was a slight cheaper Continental option. Clean
The one Saturday night's price was extremely high, I had been staying for 2 weeks and could not get my last Saturday night at a reasonable price, so was forced to check-out. Breakfast was expensive.
Convenient to city centre. Nice spacious, clean and fresh room. Friendly and efficient staff. Will stay there again.
