The staff in Jurys Galway were top class. I would especially like to compliment Dale(on reception). I had the privilege to meet him in Jurys in Glasgow. He was so helpful and kind to us when we were stranded in the snow. He is a great asset to any staff team.

I loved the location - it was right next to the river and next to the shopping area. I was a prime location. The price I did not realize until I got the bill that is cost over 175 euros to stay there on a Saturday night. I think that price was outrageous and if I knew that I would of stayed some where else.

Location is excellent for a city stay, price was reasonable and reputation gives guests a reasonable expectation of service at time of booking.

Went away to Galway for the weekend with the girls. Perfect location bar and restaurant in hotel. Rooms was small for the 3 of us but was grand for the weekend. Room was clean and not too noisey we had a nice view of the river. Room size and car park thought we would get a nice reduction in the car park next door but the car park on the keys was 4 euros cheaper for the weekend and was just a short walk away

Location is perfect. Close to everything. The hotel is very popular for city breaks, stag parties and so on and there is a slight musty or stale smell about the place. It was also very overpriced. We paid 170 euro for one night in a budget hotel. Perhaps this is symptomatic of overpricing in Galway during the summer in general but it wouldn't entice me back.

The staff made our stay at Jurys Inn. They really are so helpful and friendly. I have stayed in so many hotels that look for any opportunity to rip you off but Jurys Inn was completely different. One of us was sick on the 2nd day and we decided to get a take away. Jurys Inn supplied plates and knives and forks. The rooms are basic but pristine. The location is superb. There isn't a better located hotel in Galway city. My one fault was the fact that there is no ice machine and you have to go to the bar for ice which is a bit of a pain!!

Check in reception staff were helpful and friendly, so the day started off very well I did not like the room size for the price charged. Plates at breakfast were very small and there was a short supply of cooked breakfast and a long delay from the kitchen. People (residents) were confused in the breakfast area.

Great location; lovely views. Convenient parking (chargeable, but reasonable). Pleasant staff. Overall good value for money. Amazing charges for internet use. Smell of smoke in non-smoking areas. Noisy rooms (pumps? Aliens?)

+ Great location, just off Quay Street and in front of the Spanish Arch but in a quiet corner + Size of the room (we were three people staying in a triple room with one double bed + one single and it was big enough) + tv with lcd screen samsung; + Great views over the river and very quiet despite being full that weekend and with hen parties going on! + Big desk work + Secure Locked room for leaving luggage the whole day in our check out date; + Most tour bus companies pick you up on the hotel; + Good information on events, restos, things to do in town, booklets at the entrance and advice in reception - You have to pay for the wifi; - Continental breakfast is not impressive, orange juice taste like powdery water; - I thought that it was objectively a bit overpriced for the ratio quality-price, although not if you compare with other neighbouring ones. I guess the equation summer time + Galway + city centre = high rates

Location, bathroom was spacious, staff helpful and courteous. They were renovating the floor we were on with new carpets- while a good sign that there is continued improvements, the hall was messy and looked like a building site and the smell of glue was strong - but undertaking given the job at hand. Not a complaint per se, but given it was midweek and the hotel was virtually empty im sure there were room/floors not currently under overhaul and would have given a better first impression. That said, it didnt not negatively affect our stay. Just timing i guess.

Location was excellent! Quality of food and service in restaurant was 1st class. Friendly staff at check in/out. Nice rooms and nice hotel overall. Heat in rooms was a bit suffocating and bigger menu would be nice in restaurant.

The location is very good. Close to all Galway has to offer. Very close to saltillo also. The bathroom was very grubby. Parking must be paid for and cost €20 for the weekend. This is a hidden cost that should be highlighted when booking.

I thought I was getting value for money, with the reputation that comes with jury's unfortunately my bathroom looked like builders from hell installed the sink the shelf that protrudes so much it's hard to wash your face. The shower is extremely old and was always either too hot or to cold and the presure never remained constant. The room was okay except radiator controlls were broken so room was very hot but your front desk did turn it down which helped. I think you should core drill vents into these rooms they get extremely stuffy. I thought the food was good and reasonably priced was not too keen on paying 4.10 for Guinness. Staff were friendly but room 339 needs some looking at.
