Pool smelled too much of chlorine Had to wear swimming cap, for which there was a charge if you didn't bring one - would be helpful to let people know this when booking

The hotel was excellent.The facilities were excellent too.We enjoyed the food at breakfast and at the bar.Wonderful pool and spa.The room was luxurious.Excellent stay.

The pool needs better lighting...too dark. The mini bar useless...no refrigeration!!! The main desk needs a clock...

Stayed here for two nights and have to say we had an excellent time. Upon check-in we were upgraded to an Executive Suite free of charge and also were allowed access to our room early and got a late check out, also free of charge! The room itself was very bright and spacious just as it looks in the photos, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a beautiful view over the River Lee which at night time was nicely lit up from the street lights and local buildings. The Staff were extremely helpful, nothing we asked for was too much. Overall our stay was very pleasurable and special, had it not been for this hotel our stay in Cork City would not have been as memorable.

The only real sour note was that the residents bar closed very early on the Sunday night.

Ambience was very pleasant. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was very good. Our final room was very nice.

Even though I had contacted the hotel the day before we arrived to inform them we would be very late checking in we were allocated a room with no view other than a solid white wall 3mtrs away from the window. The reception staff (John I think) were very helpful and apologetic the following day and transferred us to a room with river view.

Overall, River Lee is a very nice and comfortable hotel. I really enjoyed my stay there.

I booked a room with a balcony and I was not told until i checked in that there was none. instead i get a room looking out the back of the hotel. No mini bar tiles on the floor in the bathroom were loose. Not good have stayed in a lot better of less.

Convenient for centre of Cork but away from traffic and noise. Booked room only so didn't try restaurant.

Stayed two nights on advanced booking. Stayed on for a third night which cost an awful lot more. The receptionist did discount €15 but thought it could have been a little more. Meal portions in the bar are a little small. Though that the last time I stayed as well.

Overall staff were very excellent. The location of the hotel was great in terms of the city centre and also as a base for other parts of Cork. Great to have free parking. Breakfast was great kids especially enjoyed the hot chocolate!

It was a shame the leisure centre only permitted children in the pool until 6pm we felt this was a bit early, 7pm would be a more appropriate time. Disappointing that there was a charge for using the playstation.

The beds were super comfy & food in the weir bistro delicious!

No bar entertainment even on a bank holiday weekend!

lovely hotel and had A great stay. rooms gorgeous. additional bed very comfortable with good mattress. loved separate shower and bath. view from floor to ceiling windows lovely. staff very friendly and accomodating

didn'T book breakfast with room and to add this on next morning was quite expensive at 17euro each for family of 5. next time will book the breakfast included option as I believe it is worth it

The staff were impeccable nice and helpfull beautiful hotel decor etc.

Food was very over priced and not up to standard for price of food.. Very disappoint by the quality of food.

The room was nice and comfortable. It was a short walk from the city centre.

The room was cold when we entered. We were woken by children running up and down the corridor both mornings. During both days these kids were very noisy. Ordered breakfast the 2nd morning. Some items were left out. When I rang about it the items brought up were still wrong and we were still charged full price for it. Checking out I told the receptionist of the noise which she was familar with. It didnt seem to bother her.She didnt even offer an apology.The stay in the hotel was very unsatisfactory.

Very little, an excellent hotel

The room and staff were beyond reproach except for the brutal heat of the air conditioning. Even with the controller at the lowest temperature possible, the heat in the room was almost unbearable. I had a very poor sleep because of it.

The hotel looked very well taken care of, clean and neat. Staff were very polite and helpful. Good food in the restaurant. We loved the breakfast. Close to the city centre! Good stay!

everything was wonderful. staff friendly and efficent. very relaxed atmosphere throughout hotel. Food was excellent in both bar & bistro. Rooms were as expected of a 4 star hotel with very comfy beds. Location is ideal just outside city centre with ample free parking. Overall everything was excellent and will be returning again soon

Lovely attentive and courteous staff. spotlessly clean and very convenient.

Food for the price was disappointing. Not enough towels in bathroom. I think all towels should be in bathroom not hidde'n in wardrobe in case they get wet. also there were 3 of us but no towels for child. they get wet
