Jurys Inn Christchurch

Vi var der jo kun 2 overnatninger, så vi var ikke ret meget på hotellet, men vi spise morgenmad begge dage og det var vel hvad man kan forvente for kr. 100,- pr. voksen. 1/2 pris for børn, altså kr. 50,- er vel også lige i overkanten når ens børn er småt spisende og morgenen og kun fik havregryn med mælk og sukker :)

At man betalte for hvad man fik, i stedet for ta’-selv-bord.

I liked the position in the old historical area of Dublin. I liked the view of the wonderful old cathedral from my room . I liked the sound of the bells. I liked the friendliness and unreserved helpfulness of the staff.

The weather was very hot ( hotter than I have ever known in Dublin !), so a bit of airconditioning would have been nice. I found the tightly closing bathroom door irritating. The lighting in the rooms is too dull for normal reading in the evenings.

The reception staff were very helpfull with local information and the breakfast offered a very good choice.

Christchuch bells every 15 minutes!!!! All through the night. Done get a church side room

The hotel staff was wonderful. We were traveling in a group of 5 and needed to make changes to our reservations and they met every request. We stayed Friday and Sunday nights and they held our bags Saturday for us while we were on a tour of southern Ireland. My first room was a bit concerning as the faucet on the sink was not completely attached and swiveled back and forth loosely. However, my room on Sunday night had a kind sized bed and a couch and was just lovely.

I was not pleased that there was no air conditioning, but it did cool off enough at night with the windows opened. However, both my rooms were facing the busy street so it was a bit loud. I also thought the area where breakfast was served was a bit small and quite dirty. It seemed as if the staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people/traffic and could not keep up with cleaning tables and floors.

The staff was very accommodating and a very clean hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Needs a makeover

The nearby parking at a reduced rate, the style and comfort of the rooms and the hotel atmosphere. Fantastic location with great views.

Style and design of restaurant was not brilliant.

Very central, good location very close to Temple bar, nice hotel expensive i thought.
