Its location. The noise, the cigarette smoke in my room during the night, the poor heating system, the cold 'Hot Buffet', the offhand reception staff, the insecure lock on the door of my first room, the no-availability of items on the in-room menu.....

When I arrived at the hotel I was looking for the car park as this hotel advertised car parking,i was waiting on hold for 20 mins when I rang the hotel looking for the car park, when I found the car park it was called christchurch car park,no mention of jurys inn, then I was told it is 33 euro to park your car over night yet there are signs up all over the place saying park for the day for 10 euro so they actually charge you more for been a guest at the hotel,we ended up getting a discount but car parking still cost us 14.50,there were no signs to tell you how to get to the hotel from the car park it was like a maze, when we checked in we were giving a room at the end of the hall way on level 2 when I opened the door the room was ok,then I opened the bathroom door and the smell was sicking I asked to change room an they guy on reception was really nice he gave us a room on level 3 looking out over the city a big difference to the view we had of the bins at the back of the hotel in the other room, this room was quite small we had a table but no chairs when I asked for chairs it took 20 mins to get them an I was given one,by that stage we had ate our lunch sitting on the bed,all in all I would never stay at this hotel again, and I cant understand why we were giving a very poor room with no view when there was a room like the one we were switched to free all along, also the hotel needs to state the price of the car park and tell guests the car park is called christchurch carpark to avoid guests wasting time looking for jurys inn park park, our room was a small double room we booked at triple room.

The location was great. It was close to many attractions. There is a discount for parking in the structure attached to the hotel. The bathroom was old and disgusting with mildew and broken fixtures. The beds were hard. The rooms are in serious need of renovation. It is not worth it to stay in a gross room for a good location.

Hotel reception staff were incredibly helpful. Cieran showed us all the places on a map that we were interested in visiting and recommended places wecwould like. He was an amazing help ! Our room wasn't ready until 3.45. One hour 15 minutes after check in. Hotel receptionwas comfortable though so didn't mind the wait.

The ebst thing about Jury's Christchurch is it's location. You can walk anywhere in Dublin City Centre. The staff could be friendlier. Also the lack of any exercise facility is a big minus for me. Surely there is room to set up a treadmill and some free weights.

Great central location! We stayed in room 132. One of the windows didn't close fully so the room was a bit chilly at times.

Put in a 5th floor room with only 1 small 6 person lift working - the other was broken down. Bedroom overlooking a church with a massive bell which chimed every 15 minutes!!!! Double glazed velux window was no help towards dimming the noise which was awful!

Wonderful friendly staff is the main reason I would go back. The location is lovely right across from Christ Church Cathedral. Very comfortable hotel to stay in. I'd like to see updated bathrooms, better parking validation, and the radiators need checking so they don't knock all night long! The traffic noise was fine even though we were at the front of the hotel (GREAT view of the Cathedral) but the radiators were loud.

"Both Jurys Inn Christchurch & Custom House Hotels are served by a shuttle bus to The O2 " Direct quote from hotel website. When we inquired about this, we were told it never arrived the night before and to make our own arrangements. No reason given as to why it was not provided.

Locaton, Location, Location!!! Friendly staff, busy, busling atmosphere in bar and lobby area. Comfortable beds. Availability of food if required. Our room overlooked Christ Church so we had a room with a view! I'd return to stay. Some lights not working in room. I did not report them until checking out as they were not an issue, had our stay being more than 1 night I would have reported them immediately.
