Booking .com needs to make it clear that the rooms at this hotel only sleep 3. This was not at all clear in the hotel description and made the stay less than comfortable. Not a reflection on the hotel itself
- WiFi in all areas of the Hotel - Bar/Restaurant/Costa Coffee connected to Hotel - Friendly staff - Spacious rooms - Beautiful view from window - Great location
- Cleanliness of room (found head hair/eyelash hair on toilet seat and on bath) - Towels weren't replaced with fresh ones
Clean friendly hotel. All we needed
No fridge in room to keep wine chilled
The parking at the hotel was a bonus. We would recommend this hotel as it ticks all the boxes.we will stay there again.
Very hard beds, sag in the middle Poor wifi Noisy heating (ticking)
It's in an ideal location, a five minute walk from Temple Bar and 15 minute walk from Guinness factory. The staff couldn't be more friendlier and helpful. I can't praise them enough
The only criticism I have is that the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, it was still filled with "feminine hygiene products" from a previous stay. Even after it was reported, it still wasn't removed until the next day
Nice big room with view of Cathedral; good location for attractions and hop on bus
Shaver socket didn't work - reported to reception but not fixed; shower tray too shallow and water overflowed on floor (need to clean plug hole regularly); no heating although November (was told on timer and comes on at 1pm - what when everyone is out?!); light at mirror in bedroom area didn't work. Due to these things felt overpriced for Executive Suite
Location excellent, staff friendly and room very cosy.
Friendly staff and nice buzz around the hotel,
We had a room at the front.Very noisey,church bells,traffic.....
Jurys Inn staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. You cannot beat the location. I would definitely stay again next time I visit Dublin!
wifi policy Small bathroom
Location staff efificency&friendlyness
Heating was in need of complete overhaul hotel did know this we ended up being moved to another room (it was an executive room at no extra cost) but had to have oil filled electric radiators for heating as central heating kept breaking down & when on the occasion it worked it made noise. We did get complimentary meals &paid only 50percent of our bill as compensation with free taxi to busarus so hotel did their best to help. From that point of view jurys inns are good & we do always try to use that group. We had stayed at Christchurch before & also custom house quay & have used jurys inn Newcastle england many times
Very clean, comfortable hotel, nice staff and great location, food was really nice and layout of restaurant was comfortable!! Bar is equally as comfortable!!
We had a problem with noisy pipes but we reported it and they apologised sincerely!!!
Clean, conveniently located, efficiently run, good breakfast.
No Hot chocolate in rooms. Breakfast too expensive. Lack of aircon meant having to have window open a little during the night - one soon realises that though you may be trying to sleep, the rest of Dublin is not...
very helpful staff, spotlessly clean. car park accessible from hotel
requested adjacent rooms as I was meeting 2 of my daughters. unfortunately were given 2 rooms on same floor but apart on different coridoors which was very inconvenient
The location was perfect and on the route of multiple hop on - hop off tour buses. We were worried that we would be able to hear the bells at Christ Church Cathedral but these weren't imposing at all and were barely noticeable. It is only a 10 minute walk down to Temple Bar's bars, pubs and restaurants. Close to Dublin Castle and St. Patrick's Anglican Cathedral. The staff were really helpful with anything we asked for and welcoming upon arrival. The hotel was clean, the beds really comfortable and came with a choice of softness of pillows - a nice touch.
We did have a problem with the radiator in the room they initially put us in (G07). I would recommend to ask to change room if you get this one! The radiator desperately needed bleeding and constantly made a very loud tapping and clicking noise throughout the night. When we mentioned it to reception they sent someone to look at it but clearly they hadn't done anything to fix it because it continued to make noise. We had to request to change room which was done quickly by the nice receptionist. The only other problem we had was the lack of bacon one morning at breakfast, it appeared they had ran out and made no effort to replenish it - bit poor for such a busy and well located hotel!
Location ideal for site-seeing shopping Breakfast lovely
Bed was very small and not very confortable
Location Cleanliness Friendly staff Ironing board & hair dryer
Noise from water pipes kept us awake Bed small
the location of this hotel was perfect as l was taking part in the Dublin Marathon. Food was good-thank you.
My first evening when l went for a hot bath l discovered NO HOT WATER at either bath-shower-or sink!! Obviously everyone had the same idea and all water was taken. The manager did adjust my final bill BUT if l wanted to pay less l would have chosen a cheaper hotel - they would probably have had hot water as well.
Staff friendly, location good. Room clean.
Room at back of hotel and the work men started organising bottles at 7am. Very disturbing noise. Dining room in the morning, a mess. no clean tables, had to clear table ourselves. only 3 staff cleaning dining area, 2 appeared as if they had no interest. Strolled around room. Saying that, breakfast ok, when we managed to get it, Staff in dining room need to be smarter and efficient.
Excellent location, very clean & nice spacious room.
Said to a member of staff at front desk I'd like to have breakfast there on Monday morning around 6.45am (doing the marathon). Was bluntly told breakfast was not until 7 even though I could see other guests in dining area. Strange. Had to go elsewhere to get my breakfast as time was tight due to marathon, which was an inconvenience.
If your planning to catch a show at the Olympia (whatever your taste), the Jury's Inn Christchurch is a 5 minute walk away and has a fresh new feel to the place (maybe it is new, I wouldn't know). The rooms are reasonably sized, well-equipped and if you ask, they give you a quiet room without too much noise from the street. Wifi going strong, staff very friendly and helpful (when room service was over they suggested various options to obtain food and have it delivered to our room).
Breakfast is the usual standard precooked and left to keep warm affair. I'd recommend walking a few steps and finding other places to have breakfast.
