This is the second time I have stayed in this jury inn and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was in walking distance to temple bar with a wide variety of restuarants to chose from. The hotel was exceptional and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would defintely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Breakfast was excelkent staff was friendly rooms were comfy
I generally liked everything to do with the hotel, the room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable, staff were accommodating also, even when we had a late check in and kept our bags after check out until we wanted to leave the city later that evening.
Although we were on the fifth floor we were at the front of the hotel and as the rooms were very warm we had to have the window open, the sound of traffic and the church bells from the cathedral kept disturbing our sleep.
Car park didn't open till 10 am
Location, condition of facilities
Rooms, Staff, Breakfast, Good location. Overall a good hotel for a Dublin city break. Recommended.
Seating in foyer area too high. Open plan seating more preferable. No food available in bar area on Sunday night.
We found the hotel's location close to Christchurch cathedral to be excellent - an easy walk into the city for restaurants and sightseeing but far enough away from the noise and traffic to get a good night's sleep.
No air con or minibar in the rooms
Convenient location in city center within walking distance to Christchurch, Guiness, Jameson, Temple Bar and shopping
Wi-fi access is not available in all rooms and the coffee and breakfast areas do not open until 8:00am
We stayed her for 5 nights in mid-August, 2014. We asked for a quiet room and stayed at the rear of the hotel, away from the street and over the back courtyard. Although the view was not exciting it was quiet and the outside noise not a problem. This was good because the hotel fronts on a very busy rood with numerous ambulances, etc as there is a hospital not far away. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Central location within walking distance to brewry and distillery tours as well as Trinity College,Temple Bar and the Shopping district
Coffee shop and restaurant did not open until 8:00 am, and in some some rooms -- I stayed there twice on this trip -- the wi-fi was non-functional.
The location was convenient for restaurants, bars, transpiration and shopping.
I liked the location and the price. The hotel also had a carpark connected to it, though not belonging to the hotel it was extremely convenient and reasonably priced. There was also tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The rooms were somewhat small.
Helpful front desk
Crowded hotel. Neighborhood was less desirable
The location and staff were excellent. Stayed for 5 nights and no major problems.
Window opened into rear courtyard and there were early morning deliveries and other work going on which was noisy.
location - near Smock Alley Theater, Heuston Station (2 rail day trips), nearby restaurants for dinner (Copper Alley Bistro, Toscana)
Limited, unchanging food choices at dinner that were good but not great in their preparation
Breakfast was unbelievable. Everything was sooooo fresh
The noise of the traffic on a busy Saturday night
Location Size of room Food Friendly Staff throughout hotel
Size of bed. Double bed was very narrow, did not seem to be a normal size double, had a bad nights sleep because of this.
Excellent location,good value for money.
Location close to all sights or within easy walking distance
There was no safe in our room This would have made it easier to leave valuables locked away
Location, location, location! Right in the City Centre, 10 mins walk from Temple Bar. Great staff- always ready to help. Tasty breakfast with good choice.
-Great location -Friendly staff -Had a very comfortable stay
-Like all of Dublin, quite expensive
At check in we were told that we would have a quiet room on the 3rd floor and it was just as described, it was ideal. The room was also a great size, perfect for getting ready or relaxing. Overall with the room, the dining area and the bar we had a great experience.
NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR STAY WAS EXCELLENT WITH GREAT SERVICE. WOULD DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO FRIENDS. THE STEAK IN THE RESTAURANT WAS DELICIOUS AND THE BREAKFAST WAS OFF A HIGH STANDARD.
It was a very nice room and well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Some slight 'crumbs' on the carpet and bird droppings on the windows marginally detracted from otherwise excellent facilities
