WiFi on I-Pad didnot work for some reason
Central location and proximity to Temple Bar area of pubs and restaurants
None on this visit.
A friendly and welcoming hotel with great food and comfortable lounge areas. It was a great base from which to explore Dublin and very close to Vicar Street where we had tickets to see the Fureys. Breakfast and bar meals were excellent.
The service in the restaurant and the quality/description of the food was poor and not up to standard
Even though we paid for the booked rooms in advance, they simply wanted to move us to another hotel!!!!
Paid for a superior room instead of standard. Nothing superior about it. Videos view of dirty back yard and a drug addict smoking and drinking. A tiny bed. Barely a double. What this place means by that is you get a free bottle of water. Complained though and was upgraded to an executive room. A little better and a king size bed. With a nice view of Cathedral
Got upgraded after complaining.
Being close to everything (shops, bars, dart, bus tours) was a real pleasure. The hotel is wonderful and the staff really helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend!
Easy access to carpark
I would just add some information about adjusting the heat in the rooms.
The staff is friendly, the beds are comfy and the breakfast excellent. The choice to stay there with family made me look smart. Thanks.
Free wifi was poor compared to what I am used to in other hotels.
Excellent location, convenient to the city center. Walked almost everywhere.
Great location. Hotel clean. Bed very comfortable . I enjoyed my stay
Ease of access
You can either get a room with a beautiful view of the Church and people watching. Or a quiet room. Can't have it both ways. Not the fault of the hotel though.
It was what it was supposed to be. Everything was lovely. Perfect beds. Nice new bathrooms. Clean. Awesome location next to Christchurch Cathedral. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice, clean, very good location, friendly staff, decent breakfast. We also liked the fact that radiators were on all day long, so you could adjust the temperature in the room at your confort.
Staff and facilities were excellent
Staff were really helpful, taxis outside hotel, near shops and bus nearby to city centre.
bar food only ok
Rooms too hot, even with heat turned off. The bar was dirty, had food all around the floor. The toilets were dirty, toilet paper on the floors and counters, one toilet was blocked with liquid running out of it.
Didn't seam to have enough staff on in the dining room, had to wait along time for our food.
All great, no complaints
Great location for getting around city, with or without a car
Evening meal on Good Friday was about the worst meal we have experienced. Food awful, waiting time between courses 40 minutes from ordering to first course and another 40 minutes between starter and main course. Staff very apologetic and polite and a credit to your hotel but hotel let down by decision to serve food in bar area and restaurant when not enough kitchen staff to cope. Manager who made that decision should really be embarrassed.
There were no blinds or nets on the room windows which on our side of the hotel were overlooked by an apartment block whose residents seemed to spend a great deal of time looking into the hotel rooms. This meant that the curtains had to be drawn (casting the room into darkness) during the day to ensure any sort of privacy. The free Wi-Fi was very poor and connection couldn`t be maintained for longer than 10 minutes.
Having stayed at Jurys Inns in other locations our stay was pretty much what we expected. The hotel was well placed near to the city centre and it`s attractions and amenities. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Soundproofing was very good and there was no disturbance from traffic despite the central location. Breakfast was buffet style with a fair choice of either cooked or continental and the bar prices are favorable compared to some of the surrounding pubs (up to 9.5 euros a pint of beer).
The rooms were nice but no way of cooling the room down we had to sleep with the windo open so it was very loud when the church bells started ringing
The location is perfect, everything is walking distance from the hotel
Noisy from street
Practical and good location
