Location , room decor
Price of car parking on top of hotel stay , bar did not do any cocktails, asked for various items on the bar food menu to be told we do not have that dish tonight.. Eventually when food came (burger) 40 mins later food was bland and no apology for the long wait
I liked the layout of the room. I had a corner room which was an odd shape but the space was utilized really well and felt really spacious. The room was very clean and everything looked fresh which is important after a long day.
The room was too hot and there was no way to turn the heat down, I couldn't open a window so I was a little uncomfortable. I also found the bathroom door irritating. It looked like a fire door with the bracket so slammed shut every time you went in or out which apart from being a nuisance was incredibly loud so I wouldn't be surprised if your other guest could hear it.
Reception staff Cleanliness
The food, the dinner we had was appalling, the steak was raw not medium-rare and you ran out of rib-eye at 6oclock on a Friday. The staff were miserable in the resterant and I got the wrong sauce with my steak.
Like the location. Food good in hotel and also many good restaurants in the immediate area. Staff helpful and friendly. Free wifi brilliant (Premier Inn give a mere 30 minutes!) will use this hotel again.
Location was brilliant
Got there at 3.20pm and had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready
Food was excellent
Everything. Friendly, clean, comfort and location.
Nothing everything was good.
Perfect location, walking distance to everything- attractions, restaurants, bars and pubs.
Friday night the Christchurch Cathedral bells just wouldn't stop (for about 8+ hours!). At first we thought it was the wind storm knocking the bells about, but according to the front desk this was happening on several Fridays in a row.
A king size bed and mattress that wasn't two singles latched together. A quiet room with good ventilation.
Self-service breakfast area was crowded - they ran out of trays. By the time we queued up for everything, the food on our plates was getting cold.
No southern Comfort!
We arrived very early for our check-in and it was no problem. They gave a room immediately. The front desk staff were all so nice and accommodating.
comfort of the room
water in the shower was not that hot. also it could do with a mat in the shower as the bath was very slippy which i ended up falling and bruising my knee.
Comfort and location
Wasn't impressed with the breakfast buffet
Central location, helpful staff and very comfy beds
I specifically needed a hotel with car parking. It did not mention anywhere on the website that there was a charge of €15 per car per day which ultimately left me with an additional €60 to pay on top of the hotel bill. If I had known this I would not have chosen this hotel
so comfortable bad with pillows
Comfortable warm room
Location, Service, Comfort, Clean rooms, welcome tea/coffee in the room
I would have preferred to have had a hair-dryer in the room
Friendly staff and good food great location A lot to do close to hotel.
There was apartments right out side your window no privacy had to keep curtain closed in day time.
location was great ,
the special request that I requested when bookin were not adhered to...breakfast wasn't included so expensive
Location, comfort of bed
Soulless bar, no decent free Wifi,
Comfortable room with a very nice bed. Great view overlooking Christchurch and very quiet on the fifth floor. The staff were lovely.
My partner and I would have loved the option for room service.
Room was cold at night
Proximity to shops theatre etc. nice clean room, polite staff
The quality of service, decor and comfort
Rooms were too hot, wifi to slow
Great location close to temple bar and only a short 15min walk down to O'connel street. Staff were great. Georgina on checkin was fantastic and very welcoming.
Wifi signal in my room was quite weak and kept cutting out.
