Keanes of Curraheen  

Beautiful Hotel/Pub, extremely clean, wonderfully designed and furnished, fabulous views of Galway Bay. The young man who was working( sorry cannot remember his name) was extremely helpful, polite and curteous during our stay, the chef also deserves praise as we had an extremely lovely evening meal that was delicious and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in this location.

The Staff!!! Sean was very welcoming and we felt, as if we had just arrived at a friend's house. We arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen had to close for the evening but this wasn't a problem at all; we were told not to worry and that we could first see our room, refresh a bit and then come to dine. The food was excellent! Best Fish & Chips, I've ever had (as a flight attendant, who has eaten in many countries and in many good restaurants, believe it, when I say that the food is really, really good!!) Breakfast also very tasty! The bed was very comfortable and the views were amazing! We also liked the fact, that there was a kitchen/dinning room area and a separate living room with a television (apart from the TV in the rooms), that we were also welcomed to use; it's a very thoughtful idea for people who stay there for a longer period and it shows, that guest are really welcome and valued!

Unfortunately the walls are very thin: you can really hear every move in the next room (in our case, we were lucky: our "neighbours" were quiet people). Despite what other people wrote already, I found that the shower pressure was ok (have long hair too!); this is just a general problem here in Ireland I would say.

The staff was very friendly, especially Bruno. The room was cleaned and confortable. Great view of the bay from from the garden.

Keanes of Curraheen was a most enjoyable experience, when we arrived John was most welcoming and showed us to our room which had a most amazing view over looking the water, the room was beautiful & well maintained at every level, as were the en -suite facilities.. The breakfast was excellent in the morning, as was the bar food which we opted for in the evening, Compliments also to the evening & breakfast staff who were most pleasent. Overall, a most enjoyable experience, & to be Highly Recommended

Accomodation was together with the restaurant and bar and for late arriving in it was a very good combination for a quick relaxation. The view from the room on the bay was very beautiful, romantic and filling with peace. Despite b&b formula is is more like a hotel with home like facilities in addition (kitchen, lounge room). Very friendly and compentent service of the owner and very good meals served by the restaurant.

Location for our family party in Tralee was perfect.Room was lovely with sea view, breakfast was really good.

The ensuite shower was just a trickle of water (we were in room 4) and was very annoying! The room looked spotless but when I went to plug in the hairdryer noticed that the skirting board at side and behind bed was thick with dust

It was spotless and everyone was very friendly. The facilities were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoyed my stay there and had everything I wanted.

Immediate sense of warmth and welcome. We arrived ahead of our check in time, but were seated comfortably in front of the fire with offers of tea and coffee while our room was finished up and prepared for us. Staff was marvelous - proprietor John could not have been a better host and help with our map/touring questions. Beautiful views, great food - best seafood chowder on our entire trip!

I was getting married and stayed the night before my wedding.. It was like home from home.. So warm and friendly, John the owner went out of his way for us.. The place is 5star and the views are beautiful.. I really cant say enough about the place, just fab....

Tout, ce B&B est également un pub très bien fréquente et malgré notre arrivée tardive (voir ce qui ne va pas) l'accueil à été excellent de même que le repas du soir et une formidable ambiance (chants typiques) jus qu'à tôt le matin... Matin ou après un excellent breakfast nous avons repris la route vers Dingle

La difficulté pour trouver ce B&B Préciser sur l'annonce qu'il s'agit également d'un Pub...

Gastheer heeft ons erg veel gerekend voor kerstdiner( buitensporig veel) terwijl hij de indruk maakte iets eenvoudig te maken

Non è sicuramente un 4 stelle. La pulizia è un po' carente. Orario colazione un po' scomodo.

el hotel es muy bonito, sus desayunos estupendos

Bel hôtel, bien équipé, belle vue sur la baie, au calme et peu fréquenté. Bonne restauration irlandaise classique.

Chambres spacieuses et claires + mise à disposition d'espaces communs (cuisine, salon) appréciée

La struttura è ideale per il giro del Dingle ma un po' scomoda per visitare Tralee. Considerata la posizione isolata la presenza del ristorante (non proprio economico) è comoda soprattutto se si arriva stanchi ed in tarda serata.

Il rapporto qualità/prezzo (79 euro).
